"Have visited Toby Carvery Streetly and many other Toby Carverys before but this must have been the most disappointing. We were told a computer glitch meant that neither our vouchers or credit cards could not be used for payment, so it was a good job we had enough money to pay in cash. Seemed odd as we were given a properly printed bill at the end of the meal , so the tills were obviously working OK. My salad was disappointing. The dressing came in such a big bowl it was enough for any number of salads. Asked if I could have some salad cream or mayonnaise instead, which I prefer, but was told they didn't have any. Other problems included no water jugs, run out, no chocolate flakes for our ice creams, also run out, and half filled cups of coffee. The tea I ordered came in a large teapot but with a single teabag, so the tea was more like coloured water, no matter how much I stirred it. When we asked for the coffees to be topped up, they were, but almost reluctantly with no word of apology. How can you run out of water jugs when the restaurant was so quiet and run out of chocolate flakes at the beginning of the week, on a Monday? Presumably running out of coffee as well. It will be a long time before we visit again."
