"Have visited Toby Carvery Streetly and many other Toby Carverys before but this must have been the most disappointing. We were told a computer glitch meant that neither our vouchers or credit cards could not be used for payment, so it was a good job we had enough money to pay in cash. Seemed odd as we were given a properly printed bill at the end of the meal , so the tills were obviously working OK. My salad was disappointing. The dressing came in such a big bowl it was enough for any number of salads. Asked if I could have some salad cream or mayonnaise instead, which I prefer, but was told they didn't have any. Other problems included no water jugs, run out, no chocolate flakes for our ice creams, also run out, and half filled cups of coffee. The tea I ordered came in a large teapot but with a single teabag, so the tea was more like coloured water, no matter how much I stirred it. When we asked for the coffees to be topped up, they were, but almost reluctantly with no word of apology. How can you run out of water jugs when the restaurant was so quiet and run out of chocolate flakes at the beginning of the week, on a Monday? Presumably running out of coffee as well. It will be a long time before we visit again."

I went for the turkey, all the veg and the beef gravy. The food hit the spot! My wife went for the vegetarian option. And she was impressed as was I. I could of had more. Can't wait to go again!

We exclusively dine at Toby Streetly, the only Toby Carvery we visit. It's definitely worth the 14-mile round trip. Adam, our waiter, always welcomes us with a smile and the rest of the staff are friendly and attentive to customers.

We treated one of the three adults to a birthday meal at this restaurant. The atmosphere, food, and service were outstanding, as always. We visit this restaurant multiple times a year. The only issue this time was that the vegetarian gravy was too thin.

Only the best is good enough, the Parson Clerk takes some beating for excellence, the management (Stacey) welcomes customers with a delightful smile, so too are the staff who always show their customers with polite smiling greetings and are always there for their needs.

I would have given 5 Stars for food instead of 3 as that was down to the vegetarian gravy being too thin and the spinnage was far too soggy overcooked. Otherwise we would recommend The Toby carvery Streetly as first class dining and service ......we keep going back 2/6/23 View menu

Toby Streetly is by far the better of the Toby lnns we (three of us) travel a round trip of 20 miles to experience the hard working staff who go out of their way to make our lunch enjoyable, Tracey the manager is always on the go helping out with taking off the pressure with the waitresses, and Adam the waiter is always there to greet us and show us our table. Staff absolutely top notch but carvery not up to standard of Toby image today I’m afraid. Beef not only was fatty but tasted fatty. Cauliflower hardly cooked. Carrots just about cooked and peas dried out. Desserts were nice thankfully but when my Mom who’s 80 today so this was a birthday treat of her choice and eats once a day bar a little breakfast (by choice) says I’ll have to sort me a meal out for later I know it wasn’t good.
