"Even though I had confirmed our table before hand when getting there they were unable to see the booking. Luckily I had an email and text confirmation to prove I did. Was very embarrassing because they held up a queue behind us. No apology or anything, the lady in the front just kept giggling and later said the booking was for the year 2021 which was incorrect as I showed her the email and text confirmation to prove it was for the correct date. Anyway We were put in a random room on our own with no other guests so it was incredibly quiet with no atmosphere (later a couple other tables had people) felt like a spill over room, food was ok but waiter made us feel like we should go for what he wanted vs what we wanted to order when it came to food and drinks so we didn’t enjoy the food, one waiter smelled really bad. Overall the whole experience was awful. A world of a difference from our previous experience at Boisdale Belgravia over a year ago. Will not be going there again. Very disappointed."

"I met with a friend for a girls' catchup and enjoyed a delicious meal with a very friendly waiter taking care of us. The restaurant offered an excellent deal with three courses and 'bottomless prosecco', but it's important to note that the bottomless part only lasts for the first hour of dining. This detail was not clear on the Opentable website when we made our reservation. However, this did not detract from our enjoyable evening, and I would definitely recommend this venue."

"I had booked about a week before but it was hardly necessary as there were only 2 other people in the room. Was greeted at entrance politely and escorted to tabel and issued with menus. Decided on smoked salmon statrter which was excellent and just the right portion. Main course was Roast Beef which was also excellent. The accompaniments were really good large Yorkshire, roast potatos and savoy? cabbage gravy. The portions were just about right but it was so delicious that I ate the lot! I had a glass of claret which, again, was very good. Two disappointments The complete lack of atmosphere due to empty room. I thought it a little overpriced as lunch came to 71:00 to which 12 1/2% service charge was added which I think is lot for 1 person. However the food and service were first class and as it is such an iconic venue, I suppose that must expect to pay top dollar."

"We were looking forward to a Saturday evening there to have some food and enjoy some nice beer....the food was good when it came although the food order was wrong and the drink orders were repeatedly wrong after waiting an age to place them. We sat at our table for 25 minutes to begin with before we were even approached for our first drinks order. We were sat in the middle of the restaurant which was cramped and we had other customers chairs banging in to the back of us and the staff for some reason seemed to only serve us from one side of the table meaning we had to pass plates along the table and when they reached across us, dropped cutlery in our laps. Worsed of all was the heat, looking around at the other red sweaty faces of other customers is wasn 't just us suffering, had it been more comfortable we would have stayed until closing to enjoy the beer. Also please get your staff to learn the menu, when asking for mash as a side they repeated back, yep ok ganache ...eeerm no thanks, no chocolate sauce with my bbq chicken thank you!!! All in all a shame, been nice to go there before but this really spoiled a birthday meal."

"My partner and I went to this restaurant for our anniversary meal and had a reservation on a Saturday at 12:30. The first 45 minutes were quiet as we had the place to ourselves, which we enjoyed as it can get pretty loud when it's busy. The service was fast and friendly, and one of the waiters even brought us a complimentary Mac and cheese, which was a nice gesture. As a special treat for our anniversary, we were given a free glass of Prosecco each, which was a thoughtful touch. The food was fantastic - the oysters we ordered were large and fresh, served with a delicious salad and vinaigrette. The calamari we had as a starter was also lovely. We opted for the lobster combo, and the lobster rolls were delicious with a generous amount of fish filling. Although we couldn't finish all the food, we felt it was worth the price for the quality and portion size."

"We were disappointed by the service at our experience. We were celebrating a special occasion for my daughter’s birthday and we confirmed with the hostess numerous times. It would’ve been nice if the front of house communicated that with our server. Also as soon as our entrees were delivered, that was the last time we saw our server for the evening and a runner handled our table for the remainder of the evening. For high quality elevated dining at a top price point, there were several occasions where Savoy Grill dropped the ball in our opinions."

"the environment is amazing and special, service unsurpassed everywhere I had the bark wellington medium, the medium rare and was still good, even a little chew in the middle and my wife had the pork chop that was incredibly I was selected to pay a 2017 angelo gaja compliment and it was an amazing wein I was a little panicked with flaked in serious £1000 range, so the apple pie was amazing and the poched pears with a desert wine (tokaji) was brilliant. when we rarely go out, it was special and we were made to feel something special which is great."

"This place served decent food. We attended just after 4 pm and it was not too crowded. The Seafood Linguini was nice and I appreciated the way in which it was presented. There could have been more King Prawns and Squids. I do concede that these items are expensive, but the price for meal was significant. The Chefs prepare the meals in the open, which is nice to look at, although this must be intimidating for them. I would have likely to have watched them more closely, but I did not want to stare. Additionally, I am concerned that some of the items on the menu are labelled as “vegetarian” when they are not. For example, Parmesan cheese is not a vegetarian item. In relation to the menu, the 7 Cheeses Pizza is presented as a vegetarian item, but the ingredients speak otherwise. Parmesan cheese uses an enzyme which is found in the lining of a goat’s or a calf’s stomach. I am not a Vegetarian, so my concern is for others who have made a significant commitment not to consume any meat products. The menu itself has lots of wonderful items, but it is prudent for some things to be raised. The Server made an error in the order. People make mistakes and one of the other members of staff spoke to us about it. The Server apologised sincerely for the error. It was rectified immediately. Yes, I concede that mistakes can be made but it is also equally important as to how they are dealt with and the members of staff dealt with it immediately and efficiently."

"So this is my fav restaurant ever ..and I had booked Kline and mentioned it was for my sons 18th birthday. So let’s start with positive ..the staff are fantastic and bubbly .. But we where placed in a pretty empty restaurant on a tiny table cramped and against a pillar (I actually thought it was a wind up The food ..usually the BEST ever ..but the pizza and mussels where below average ..beer was great but overall it was just flat ..I had asked for a small cake when I ordered but alas nothing ..it breaks my heart that my fav place to go to is not the same ..is it under new management ? No idea but it just doesn’t cut it Again I want to hail the staff as they where great (but again why put me on a tiny table when there where tons of tables Hey ho .."

"I ordered the lobster roll, which consisted of four small pieces of lobster, some crushed avocado, and two or three tiny pieces of tomato with thinly sliced onion, all of which felt quite dry. There was no sauce or dill as mentioned on the menu, which gave the impression that the restaurant was cutting corners on quality. On the positive side, the strawberry tart was better and beautifully presented, but it too was very dry. I also tried two different types of cocktails, and they looked and tasted exactly the same. When I asked the bartender if he had accidentally made the same drink twice, he assured me he hadn’t, but there were just too many issues during our visit. While the restaurant's decor was stunning, the quality of the food and the service left much to be desired."

"we both found the dessert the highlight of our meal and remembered our school days. we have both decided for the heavenly ripple chocolate mousse, which was absolutely heavenly. "This charming restaurant is located in the Soho area, inside a beautiful Georgian townhouse with rich red decor. The food is exceptional and the service is top-notch. The staff is professional yet friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Despite being dressed in smart casual attire surrounded by more formally dressed patrons, I felt comfortable. The three-course set menu offers excellent value for money. I enjoyed a delicious pea and asparagus soup, followed by duck confit with puy lentils that was perfectly tender and cooked. The tarte au citron for dessert was one of the best I've ever had. This restaurant is a great choice for a quick lunch or pre-theatre dinner. I will definitely be returning!"
