"My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time in two weeks. The first time we went, the service was not great and the waiter made mistakes with our orders because they didn't speak English well. However, on our second visit, we were able to use a voucher that we hadn't been able to use before. The service was better and faster this time. The food was tasty, although my partner's crab dish was still frozen in the middle and had to be sent back. When it finally came out, it was delicious. This restaurant may not be the best choice for a quiet evening out, as there were always children dining and it could get quite noisy."

"the new vegan menu is wonderful! pizzas, soupen, hot dogs, burger, mac n cheese, garlic bread pizza, vegan mayo, ice...so much choice! really recommend the kansas city pizza the mac no cheese (cauliflower butternut squash sauce) is quite a small part, so it would be as one side to another dish, but not alone. update feb 2021: the beet burger with fried aubergine is amazing! oreo cake was also delicious. it tasted as if it had been made with whipped cream."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this place. definitiw the best vegan pizza I had gone since the vegan. better than dominos and pizza hat. no competition. also the vegan “wings” were delicious and the chips with cheese were amazing and this vegan burger.... really surprised how much I enjoyed it. juicy, tasteful and free. all in all, I'd be pretty high up there. I would eat pizza again, but not dominos or pizza hat. both places were müll with vegan pizza. also pizza express vegan pizza were classified lower than here. "The service was excellent and the atmosphere was beautiful. The value for the meal was good overall; however, the portion sizes could be larger. The food was decent, but not outstanding. We ordered a pizza that really needed a bit more time in the oven and was disappointing for the price, although other dishes we tried were quite good. I would recommend this restaurant, but I wouldn't suggest coming here specifically for the pizza. For that, I'd recommend Nell's in the Northern Quarter instead."

"I understand that it was Mother's Day, but a reservation should not have been accepted if there was no possibility of being seated close to the scheduled time. My group of six, including two young children, had to wait by the front door for 25 minutes past our reservation time. We were then instructed to wait at the crowded bar, which was being used as a makeshift waiting area. Eventually, we gave up and left as it seemed like there was no organization or control. The staff blamed the delays on the kitchen, but it appeared that they had lost control of the situation. People were cutting in line and being escorted directly to the bar, with no consideration given to those who had been waiting. It was clear that the restaurant was not prepared for the busy Mother's Day rush."

When we arrived, I informed the receptionist about the birthday, but they seemed unaware. "First of the lady that served us , Tracy I believe her name was , she was fantastic, could not ask for a better service, breakfast was good and well priced although I'm not a fan of mushrooms cooked in oil , I'm more of a butter person. The decaf coffee was top notch , I found the decor to be warm and inviting, seats were very comfortable and the atmosphere in general was good , I'd say a 9 out of 10 score and would definitely return...as long as we get a chat with Tracy again ....such a fun soul"

"my first visit to francie and benny. on the other night we were here to dinner, but we are sitting right away. the place was clean and the music choice was nice; inoffensiw and with perfect volume. the waitress was friendly, served us quickly and gave us options for the starter and the main coming together, which was eating within 10 minutes! the bbq burger was super tasty, pommes could have been a little craspier, but were nice enough. it was a cheap food and filled enough I back."

"Lovely place to take the kids to on a rainy, Sunday evening. The staff were friendly and polite. We were treated well and the service was prompt. The food was great. Mac n cheese, pizza, fish goujons and spaghetti for the whole family. For pudding, the OH chose coffee but was unable to get it. He got an alternative, a different server to the one who took the order, brought him his new hot drink and apologised as their machine was having maintenance. Thought that was a lovely gesture because we didn't ask and they seemed like they felt bad for not being able to serve coffee. All staff at the time of our service were pleasant so it was a relaxed family friendly atmosphere. For sure we would visit again!"

"We took our granddaughter to the movies over the weekend and decided to treat ourselves to dinner as well. This restaurant is conveniently located just 100 meters from the cinema with plenty of parking available in the evening at The Crumbles. We hadn't dined here in a few years, but decided to give it a try on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation for a table after the movie and were warmly greeted upon our return. Despite being busy, we were seated promptly and presented with the menu. Our drinks took a little while to arrive, but we were not forgotten, as the staff was attentive and friendly. Our granddaughter enjoyed her child's meal, especially the free squishy toy that came with it. Our burgers were delicious and well-prepared, served with fresh fries and high-quality burger sauce on brioche rolls. The restaurant was clean and well-furnished, with friendly staff who checked on us multiple times during our meal. The toilets were also very clean and accessible. With ample parking and easy access for disabled patrons, this restaurant is a great choice for those visiting the cinema, harbour, or nearby shops. We would definitely dine here again."
