"menu was been delivered by post, so thought to give it a go, food was delivered on time and all the dishes was horrible, the most disappointing was the papadum and they was so oily and gristly it had seeped through the white paper bags, and there were dips missing, no dips was served, shockingly bad, and even all of the papadums taste as they was cooked a week before, as a starter we ordered onion bhaji, they was under cooked, can still taste raw flour inside onion bhaji, absolutely disgusting again, and both the chicken tikka masala taste amazing but only the sauce, meat was under cooked, such a shame, and finally which was more disappointing all the rice was cold, not even warm, need to heat up in microwave, rubbish food,We will never order from this Indian again especially as there are so many better ones in the Sevenoaks area. Do not order unless you want rubbish food!!!!!! It would have been better, ordering from some where else."

"I've can't remember tasting such delicious, fresh and wonderfully spiced food. As another review on here says, I honestly can't wait to go back. The service is friendly and relaxed, we stayed chatting for a while after finishing our meal and were not hurried out. I went with 2 friends and we all ordered a vegetarian curry although we are not all vegetarian. We chose a coconut flavoured curry, coconut rice, pilau rice, tomato and black bean curry, and an aubergine based curry. I wanted to know the ingredients and made a note of the Indian names of the curries although not listing here. We all commented on the exceptional quality."

"I made a reservation for Father's Day, only to be informed upon arrival that they do not accept lunchtime bookings. I believe it would have been helpful to notify us in advance about this policy, especially on a special occasion like Father's Day. We were quite disappointed, as we were looking forward to enjoying a nice meal there. The response we received was unsatisfactory, and I’m not sure whose responsibility it was to manage the bookings. Hopefully, next time there will be better communication."

"We had our evening meal at Filey Curry House whilst we were staying in the area last week and we weren't disappointed. It was by far the best curry we have ever had (we normally Indian dine approx every 2 weeks). "I arranged a work get together for 6 and arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Apart from one couple there were no other diners for lunch. We were impressed by the decor and the food was good, served promptly and reasonably priced. All good up to now. At 13:40 the table was cleared and the waiter said “Do you want anything else because we shut at 14:00” OMG! How to spoil what was an enjoyable lunch."

"We were greeted by a mild member of staff and shown our table, noticing the restaurant had an aging, worn, tired feel to it, regardless of the Valentine decorations. The service felt a bit disorderly, although the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The starters were lovely, very tasty, however the mains and sides were less impressive, as was the chutney choice that went with pappadums. Unfortunately and sadly, with the amount of good/excellent eatery choices in Liverpool, I would not recommend or return to Mayur, unless they modernised their menu, ambience and quality of food for the price you pay."

"We originally travelled to Swansea for a gig but was cancelled, so we booked the Rasoi as a last minute thing, I hadn't heard of it before, but was really pleased we did. The minute we walked in we were welcomed by the staff and they were very friendly. The atmosphere and restaurant was great, the Christmas tree was up and looked very festive. The food was amazing. "a great place to meet for a delicious meal and actually enjoy a conversation with friends in a quiet place, no fight to hear about as much noise as a bonus. the restaurant has a good selection of dressed and all that we have tried were very delicious. we all eat Indian cuisine a lot, and that was one of the best. we were able to sit and have a long relaxed meal and great chat without leaving angry. we were there from 7.30 to 10.30 on Thursday night. the service was excellent. there was a mix on a plate order that was immediately replaced without asking nice, professional service. total our bill came to about £20 per, including beginners, a good choice of main dishes, drinks and coffees a very reasonable price for good quality eating and service and 3 hours. I would definitely choose this venue again and recommend it to others."

"Came here once for a work meal, having heard that it would be good for a mix of vegan/veggie/meat-eaters. The vegan options were all listed so in the menu (a paneer dish is incorrectly marked vegan though, I've seen the restaurant acknowledge this on Facebook as a typo). We had starters and mains, and everything was really delicious. I love Indian cuisine but haven't eaten it out much since being vegan because of being unsure about what would be suitable. The awesome food (plus nice service from the staff), coupled with the food being labelled vegan helped make this a really great night and experience!"

"Great food. Music a bit too much for a nice quiet dinner… the target is probably mid to mid but prices fairly high for that target! Excellent delicious food, highly recommend if you’re looking for something unconventional. To the management : tables are still relatively close to each other for the staff to spray the tables with cleaning products from distance while neighbouring tables full of food and people eating near by. Also your reception staff a bit untrained. We had a reservation vis opentable but were told rudely is not in the system. I showed the reservation on my phone only to be told “ oh you just made it ago!” I said no, i made it days ago. Arguing and being rude is not a good start."
