"We had biryani with lamb on the bone and my partner had manchurian veggie balls and veggie noodles. The biryani came in a fairly big bowl but the lamb on the bone portion was only just adequate. The lamb was tender and tasted very nice. The rice was just okay Fairly nice flavours but overrall a very dry dish and I didn't like the cloves in the rice. It was expensive for what it was! My partner enjoyed the manchurian veggie balls but said they were very spicy. She did NOT enjoy the veggie noodles as she said they were bland. I tried the noodles too and I could've done a better cooking job at home and I'm not a good cook!!!!! Most of the veggie noodles were left on the plate!! The waiter did NOT help us with our menu choices which is POOR customer service! To sum up, the food was average and expensive for what you got We may be tempted to return if there is a special offer in TWO years time!!!!! "Great menu! Very refreshing and different to the usual North Indian cuisine majority of the British Indian restaurants offer. Definitely try their Indian Chinese starters like chilli chicken, salt pepper prawns, veg manchurian and their cocktails! Natak’s menu beats Dishoom for us ; They have a new and excited team of waiters waitresses who take your eating plates away in a rush so a bit of service awareness missing but otherwise they’re all friendly prompt. Cannot wait to return to try their diverse brunch menu which has dosas etc."

"for the first time I and my partner visited the seasoned quarter on a weekend trip to cardiff. the staff was happy and friendly. our waiter was very nice, he explained everything on the menu, pulled out our chairs for us. certain service with a smile. the food was absolutely delicious and there was a lot of it! we really enjoyed it. the only negatiw was that the drinks are very expensive and that eating is a bit expensive. but it was worth everything, and we would visit again!"

"we were looking for good Indian food near our hotel on glouster photos of india not disappointed. eating was so tasteful without being sharp! we ordered lamm samosas, huhn tikka masala, lamb corma, biryani and naan. for both of us it was perfect! the restaurant was overcrowded, which is always a good sign when there are other possibilities. I would definitely return, it was authentic and so good! happy that we could get a table."

"I visited this Indian restaurant last week, and it was amazing.The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. "My family had booked the conservatory area for my hen party. On the day, the owner phoned to check with us in the morning if the booking was fine it was. Then about before we are due to arrive, and my family have...arrived to decorate the room he tells us that we can no longer have it because it has already been booked. Even though we booked it weeks earlier and spoken about it on multiple occasions to check the details. To add insult to injury, the manager also tells us that we changed the date earlier in the week when no one did. Plus management called in the morning to confirm the booking. Then they refused to move the other people out saying it was a wedding occasion but when we arrived, it was clearly a birthday. Furthermore we were then placed in the main area, but my family had spent loads of effort and money on decorations which we simply could not put up. Had we known how shoddy this would be, we could have done it anywhere else. I had about guests some of whom had travelled hours and from many different areas in the country to be there, only to receive this awful experience. The management told us that no one else would be allowed in the main area to accommodate us, again you have guessed it. Yet another lie. About later the tables were full of people and they had clearly not done as promised. The service was also slow, and terrible. The owners of this establishment are awful people. If you have double booked, admit to it and offer a larger discount. Instead they just ruined what was supposed to be an amazing night full of memories through anger and inconvenience. We couldn’t do any of the games or the preparation we had planned. Worst experience with memories of India ever. Do not recommend this place ever."

"Was staying in Portsmouth for a few days. Went to Purple mango Indian restaurant. Arrived a little early but that did not matter.Was shown to r table which was clean. Had a nice bottle of wine. Which was nice chilled. Good poppadoms a great selection of dips. For are starters we had mussels in lemon garlic also meat samosas they came lovely hot. For are mains we had king prawn masala ,garlic naan, sag aloo, chicken tikka masala, all very good lovely hot also had water at the table. Nice chilled. Had dessert chocolate mousse , strawberry dessert .very nice .to round of the evening coffee .very nice. Also Baileys on the house. Nice touch. Big shout out to are waiter Ali nothing to much trouble for him .All the waiting staff are very well dressed clean tidy.The restaurant is a lovely setting. Nice for couples or big groups of people.The owner Raji is lovely asked if are food was ok. At the end of the night he even called us a taxi back to are hotel. Which was very good him .would definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Portsmouth area. Lovely clean restaurant . Lovely friendly waiting staff. Food amazing.best Indian in town. Raji should be very proud of his team in Purple mango they all was working very hard Friday night."

"Visited Le Raj about two weeks ago and was beyond my expectations. On arrival we sat in the lounge drinking beer and Prosecco while waiting on another guest. There was a perfect ambience and the staff were very welcoming and friendly too. The main restaurant was set out really beautifully and the lighting was great. Service continued to be exceptional as we had starters and then mains which were the perfect portion and tasted amazing. When we finished up, we got some cocktails which tasted better then actual cocktail bars. Best pina colada I’ve ever had! Will be returning for birthdays and celebrations again in future!"

"After a few years, I am pleased to say that the food quality at this restaurant is still quite good. I give it a full mark for consistency. The menu offers a simple mix of traditional favorites and specialty dishes. We tried the fried fish tendon and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable, given the current circumstances. Overall, we left satisfied and felt that our money was well spent. I would definitely recommend this place to those looking for a change from the usual Punjabi or Dosa dishes. Keep in mind that the seating is limited, so it might be a good idea to call ahead on busy days."

Arriving early, I enjoyed a drink at the hotel pool sky bar located on the ground floor courtyard, giving off a holiday vibe. The drink selection included a variety of options, including mocktails and cocktails. I tried the strawberry kiss, which was a delightful way to start the evening. The staff at both the sky bar and restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had a nice ambiance with two private dining rooms, making it suitable for special occasions like birthday parties. I appreciated watching the open kitchen as I dined, and the decor was pleasant. The food at Madhus Sheraton Skyline Heathrow was as expected for Indian cuisine, with no major surprises. Each table was provided with complimentary mini popadoms and three sauces. The booking process was a bit challenging as I couldn't make a reservation by phone, but it is possible to call the hotel directly. The restaurant is located within the Sheraton Skyline hotel at London Heathrow. Parking is available at the hotel's car park, and if you spend over £20.00 at either the restaurant or hotel reception, your parking will be validated for a three-hour stay. The decor lighting was tasteful, and the ambience was enhanced by appropriate acoustics, allowing for easy conversation without raised voices. For our meal, we had Sheekh Kebab, Achri Gobi Malai Broccoli, Khasta Veg Samosa, and Murg Makni served with rice and Garlic Naan. The food was fresh and well-prepared, but nothing extraordinary. The bill came to £55.00 for two people without any alcohol. In conclusion, Madhus Sheraton Skyline Heathrow offers good service and fresh food, making it a safe choice for Indian dining. The menu covers all the main options with enough variety. One downside is the policy against doggy bags, which I found disappointing. Despite this, I would still be willing to dine here again due to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I would rate Madhus Sheraton Skyline Heathrow a 7.0 out of 10.0."
