"Removing my review from 2 yrs back because this place has gone downhill since and doesn't deserve my positive feedback no more. Firstly the guy at the front (he's new coz the previous lad was a gentleman) is awful and a bully. He has no scooby on decency in speaking to customers and offering a decent service. My account was on credit because l paid twice on one order.. Why coz your basket is never emptied from your previous order and if you don't remove it you end up paying twice. Came back to claim my credit and the same lady who advised me against getting my money back claims l had already used my credit! So l guess l made it up. You have no right to treat customers the way you treated me when l came to request for my credit of which l have proof of payment and you never showed me any proof of me claiming it. This used to be my favourite place but never going back and you can keep that money for all l care."

"The restaurant is located near the fashionable argyle shopping district. I went here with my mom. We ordered spring rolls and wanton soup. The soup was delicious with a very flavorful broth. We split a ginger beef main dish. It was very good. The large...portion was easily enough for both of us. I love ginger and can never have too much, so I think there could have been more in the dish. dinner for two in a beautiful sit down. Really lovely. And the locals must love it too. They have a hopping take away business. It was highly recommended by the bicycle delivery man we saw out front and seven more picked up while we were there."

"Used this Chinese for years. Unfortunately since it has changed to new management the prices have gone up but the quality has gone right down. Ordered tonight and ended up having to return some of it, the food i did eat was bland. Prawn crackers are terrible now with a weird after taste. Also was over charged but didnt realise until i checked the menu. Real shame as i used to love this Chinese."

"They do accommodation too now. a night, that seems slightly pricey for a room in a Chinese restaurant but it’s for and all that so must be because it’s saving the planet. I heard that Greta lassie is staying here. She loves Salt “N” Chilli chicken “N” chips can’t get it in Sweden seemingly, she doesn’t like banana fritters though cause of the carbon footprint associated with shipping them from Columbia. Seems as if everything from Columbia now a days is illegal, immoral or fattening. Anyway, rooms get yourself down there grab a bargain."

"Me and my friend where starving and I mean STARVING so we decided to give this Chinese a chance, firstly I walked into the shop to see the place was slightly a mess but that didn’t bother me as much as I was hungry, we got home opening our food excitingly as it smelled pleasant, I opened it to discover hell. I ordered a chicken chow main and it was like jelly, even my dog wouldn’t go near it, secondly I got s&p chicken and my mooth was on fireeeee but there was no flavour just spicy, and the chicken was rubber, the curry sauce came in a huge tub and tasted like it was store bought, the chips you only get 6, and the prawn crackers where low-key mid, I will NOT be back here again to pearl of honking now I have depression and have been prescribed anti depression and I have healthy dioreha."

"Went in here after a long journey from Australia on the way to my AirBnB close by....tried to order but was advised by the person on the counter that all my notes that I had ordered through a major Australian bank before arriving in...Scotland, “looked counterfeit” and would not be accepted, despite having used a same looking note, issued by the same national bank of Australia, earlier in the day. When I enquired about using eftpos I were advised they didn’t have any. Went across the road and bought a subway with the note with no hassle. Probably a blessing in disguise as the shop looked filthy."

"Very disappointing experience. I love PF Chang in the US so I was excited to find it in London and see my favourite dishes on the menu. That was as close as it got to the real thing! Lettuce wraps were too smoky. Chicken dumplings were tasty. Mongolian beef chewy and seasoning was all wrong with a lot of raw spring onions thrown in and that was it. Orange chicken was very soft and sauce gluey. Both main courses felt like they’d been sitting on the side for too long before being served. We were not offered a second drink despite our glasses being empty from after our starters. When I ordered my first drink, I had asked the waitress that I was interested in 3 cocktails and asked her opinion which she gave and it was delicious. A savvy waitress would have come back to see if we wanted to try the others! She also didn’t offer desserts or coffee so we had desserts elsewhere. It wasn’t a bad experience, just disappointing. Will not be returning."

"This is a cute little restaurant in the heart of the West End. Service was good and the prices were relatively low but unfortunately I found the food a bit bland and certainly not comparable with the best Indonesian meals I've eaten. This is a good place to stop into if you are to one of the many nearby theatres but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here."

"We ordered the hot pot for three people and received a large pot of soup filled with meat, seafood, vegetables, and rice. It was incredible! None of us had ever tried hot pot before, and it was our first time experiencing Chinese cuisine as a family. We ended up loving it. "for dinner I had booked chillies, an Indian/Bengali restaurant. this was our third visit to chillies and again eating was excellent. jean likes a biryani and at chillies there is a selection of sweet or spicy. jean chose the cute chickentikka biryani. for them the drink was the usual tonic with ice and discs. I didn't want a big drink, so I asked for a bottle of tiger. for my meal, I'm with what I enjoyed before. I had the chapattis last time, but this time I tried her roti. that were excellent. everything was delicious. the service of two young ladies was attentive and friendly. we were both too “stuffed” to look at something else at all. jeans appetit gets smaller and she doesn't like large amounts of food placed in front of her. she thinks it's pretty lazy. I asked the waitresses to ask the cook to give her a small part on their tellers. they were happy to do this and they enjoyed their meal all the more. While waiting for our taxi I had the chance to chat with the beautiful woman of the owner. we talked about various foods that I had eaten in the near east, that I did not find in the united kingdom. she said that she also missed some of the food from her homeland bangladesch. too soon the taxi arrived and we were whipped back to our hotel."

"Lovely place with delicious food and friendly staff. The menu offers many options. We went for tapas and ordered 5 small plates between us 2. We had Nachos (we really recommend!! , honey glazed chorizo, Brie wedges, patates bravas and squid. The portions were generous and we loved the food! We also shared one portion of churros for dessert, it was plenty for 2 after the tapas. The food was delivered at a good pace and we didn’t have to wait too long. The place got quite busy around 7pm so I would definitely recommend booking. 6pm seemed the perfect time to be there. We would love to come back if we ever visit Leamington Spa again! "Booked as a table of 10 (work night out) we are all nurses and having a well deserved night out. Arrived to be told no booking in diary. Person who organised said she booked via Facebook and got a sharp reply “We need to confirm” she said you did and showed him the reply!! Sent to the bar whilst we waited for a table, took around 15 mins. Due to the new covid rules And one way system this meant we had to Go out and come back in when table ready. Plastic screens also on end of tables but to be honest made no difference as the diners were sitting at either side and the screen isn’t wide enough to offer any protection. Some Waiters wearing masks, but most didn’t most of had them on their chin!! Popadom and pickle tray ordered. No idea what was on the pickle tray!! No onion salad or lime pickle, the only one any of us could determine was mango chutney! We all had starters and mains, all food piping hot and no one complained about quality of food. It was all very tasty. Asked for some to be boxed up to take home. Boxes just put in middle of table. One of the group didn’t notice this and his meal was taken and disposed of. Had he had almost 2/3 left! Anywhere else I’ve been they always box for you! Even just a cheap special on ocean road they always box it for you!! Drinks ordered at the table, had to be chased up on one occasion as one drink forgotten. It’s the service that lets this place down. The food is lovely but I’ve had same quality food with better service on ocean road! And it’s cheaper!"
