"I ordered a variety of cooked dishes which included chicken skewers, ribs, special fried rice, and salmon dinner. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The chicken skewers were barely edible and the salmon dinner was terrible. The salmon tasted fishy and did not seem fresh. The rice was overcooked and mushy. The beef ribs were salty, hard, and appeared to have been reheated. Even the chicken skewers seemed to have been microwaved. The special fried rice lacked typical ingredients such as egg and onion, and was simply white rice with soy sauce and tough pieces of beef, chicken, and a couple of shrimp. Additionally, the teriyaki sauce on the salmon had a strange, jelly-like consistency. Overall, I would rate this meal zero stars as the food was inedible and simply awful."

"boquerones is good! when we went there, there were not enough tables in the first floor, so we had to go down. in the ground floor was absolutely amazing! it was so spacious! we asked for one of these coffees with the designs above and 2 orange juice. in less than 3 minutes they have come in! 3 minutes! after that we ordered the breakfast. Now the waiting period was really long, but I don't know if that was because of the amount of food we ordered. I didn't like it very much, but that's my fault. I should have read the menu more closely. everything in all it is a good place and I recommend it in any case!"

"My wife I have used Ume since they first opened (with a ceremony involving a large Chinese dragon dancing in the street.)The staff have always been friendly helpful in suggesting dishes or tailoring the menu items to suit personal taste- as the food is freshly prepared authentically cooked.Charlie, the owner chef often comes into the restaurant from the kitchen to invite feedback and contribute to the 'family run ' feel. The food has never disappointed, even when I have ordered 'off piste. 'For something different, try the Crispy Mongolian Lamb starter- it 's my wife 's favourite starter. For me, I have no favourite because everything I 've ordered so far, I 've thoroughly enjoyed. It 's my first ever review but I feel obliged to share my very positive experience of this small, endearing yet thoroughly organised and well run establishment. You could not be disappointed here."

"we have traveled over 3 hours today and booked here how the website has shown so many possibilities! I absolutely love thai curries. green, massaman especially! it is our jubilee-waking and hubby selected here based on the menu online. Unfortunately we were told all, curries are not vegan now, as the cook decides that they need fish sauce or garnel bits to make them taste better. left on the main menu was noddles, raw or fried rice. ah. for thai curry loves me, 3.5 hours drive with the promise of a green curry awaits me. . I had 2 ways to weep or go! I went too scary for the rice as a slutty noodle in publicity! it has specified spicy fried rice on the menu. it was pale and oily in reality. to say that I am horrified is an understatement. we went by 2 Indians and one Chinese so that my advice would book one of them!"

"We had to visit here on Saturday as my local was too busy to take orders. Felt it was a little over priced for what you get in comparison. £6-7 more than my local within Skegness for the same order.Gave them an hour for the collection and order still wasn't ready when arrived and had to wait a further 15 minutes, despite her saying it would be 40 minutes maximum. We spent £21 and didn't get prawn crackers and the chow mein was just over half full and tasted full of pepper. Woman behind the counter was nice taking our order. I would return here, but it wouldn't be my go-to Chinese. If you can visit Skegness, there are some better and cheaper ones. Still however, not a bad Chinese for the more locals to burgh le marsh."

"I am a fan of Indian cuisine, but I tend to avoid dishes cooked with ghee and food coloring commonly found in British restaurants. As a result, I enjoy cooking new recipes at home. Some of my favorite dishes include tandoori salmon, lentil cakes, coconut and yellow lentil curry, potato and lentil curry, spinach and lentil filo cake, spinach and lentil soup, and zucchini and lentil curry. However, not all restaurants use ghee and food coloring in their dishes. One such example is Pundits Fusion in Upton-Upon-Severn, which prides itself on using fresh ingredients and seasonings instead of powders and artificial additives."

"We placed a delivery and was told 1 hour and a half delivery. It had been 1 hour 45 minutes so we phoned and asked where it was and was told it was out for delivery. We live a 15 min drive max and it then reached over 2 hours and phoned once again to be told they couldn’t get hold of the driver but he was out for delivery. We were told we would get a phone call back but never did so we then had to phone again as clearly it was a lie and there was no delivery out. The woman we spoke to was incredibly rude and just spoke over us saying ‘do you want to cancel then?’ Over and over. There is no way they would happily cancel such a big order. So they had totally forgotten about an order that was over £60 and could not care less that they had just left us waiting for over 2 hours for food. We weren’t even offered a discount and then was left hungry and having to go elsewhere. We have ordered from them before and the wait time has always been awful but we have never experienced such disgusting customer service. I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to be left hungry and spoken to with no respect."

"Had a take away last night from here and they served us up RAW CHICKEN satay. It looked cooked on the outside yet it was undercooked and in some places totally raw on the inside. We all ate this including my children and elderly parents Some are feeling poorly today. I am livid. I called them to complain and they basically don’t understand food safety and told us to eat the rest of the meal that wasn’t raw and offered to refund only the satay. Or told me being the meal back to them and get some more. I said it’s too late now people have eaten raw chicken!!! They only refunded the meal after an argument and the threat of environmental health. We have been customers of this place for years so they know we are not people to complain unless serious and not after a freebie. The owner was just talking over me and basically dismissing me saying how they cook it! ITS raw is the point so how it being cooked it is obviously wrong. It’s disgusting to put people at risk in this way and not an accident it’s lazy and dangerous to serve raw chicken. We had an issue a few weeks back but put it down to being a one off but not again they are not interested in keeping customers safe clearly. We would never eat there again and would discourage anyone from eating there after this. They have put my family at risk and I am appalled."

"Delicious towards authentic Chinese food. Pots of Chinese tea started our adventure. The Hot and Sour soup had lots of tofu strips, egg and vegetables and the Wonton soup was full of wontons and vegetables. Both were enormous and probably meant to be shared. The steamed chicken with ginger sauce was really tender and tasty and the Japanese sizzling tofu were little bean custard bombs of flavour. Be prepared for it all to be on the salty side though. Good value for money. Would definitely come back to try more dishes."

"The food at the Cross was exceptional, it has certainly earned its reputation for fine dining. The combination of flavours and presentation was a delight to the senses. A personal highlight being the duck breast I had for my main. The crispy duck egg starter was also very tasty with the hazelnut souffle dessert being the weakest offering of the three courses. Despite the flowery presentation of your server pouring hot chocolate sauce into the top of the souffle into the shape of a cross, the texture was quite unpleasant and the flavour was lacking. Giving you the mouth feel of a vaguely nutty curdled egg. Having tried the tiramisu of someone else in my party, I can confidently say, that is the superior option. Furthermore, despite the service being very polite and attentive when present at the table. We did end up waiting quite a long time to not only order but also between courses. This was supplemented during the first half of our meal with complimentary entrees and bread basket. But when paying £85 per person, you don't expect to be waiting 40+ minutes between my starter and main course with no check ins from the servers. The Cross fell victim to this again with dessert. Some of my party ordered coffee in place of dessert, but instead of it all coming out at once, the coffees arrived 20 minutes before the desserts. It was very busy the night we attended so maybe they were short on staff. Food wise The Cross is everything you'd expect, but the service let it down on this occasion."

"We have been ordering delivery from Saffron for over two years and have always been pleased with the food. However, our recent experiences have not been the same. Four weeks ago, we attempted to order through Just Eat but were told they were not delivering. We ended up calling directly to place our order, but did not receive the discount available through Just Eat. When our food arrived, the main meals were crushed and sauce had leaked in the bag, leaving us disappointed. We tried to order again on Tuesday through Just Eat, but once again, encountered issues. Unfortunately, we have decided to order from another restaurant now. We used to enjoy the quality and flavor of Saffron's cuisine, so we hope they can resolve these issues and return to their previous level of service."

"I held an event in Earls Cone for 10 professionals. I pre ordered food the day before and collected it at 6pm on the day of the event. The food was delicious, service was prompt and food was plentiful. I am so happy with the service, quality of food I have placed orders for all future events when I am in the area. "The food at this restaurant is exceptional, with excellent flavors and generous portions. It is some of the best Indian food we have ever had. The service can be a bit slow, as they are catering to both dine-in customers and delivery orders, but the waiters are friendly. We will definitely be returning. Thank you! "What a great selection. Four rows of six eight dishes per. Some note able items; duck, deshelled King prawns, pork ribs, two different soup options, and a well set salad bar. Dessert row with ice cream, apple crumble, cheese cakes and chocolate cake. Staff are attentive and polite. Soda drinks are from a can, ensuring fresh taste. We ate our hearts out and will return. One star lost due to no enforcement of utilizing gloves set by buffet and communal ice cream scoups."

"I had an incredible meal last night! I'm not usually a fan of Indian cuisine, and when I glanced at the menu and didn’t see a dish I enjoyed, I thought I might not eat anything. However, I was completely mistaken. The waiter asked what I was looking for, and he assured me that the cook would be happy to prepare something for me. I must say, it was probably the best food I’ve ever had at an Indian restaurant, and the rest of our party completely agreed. The food was very fresh, and the staff was friendly. Thank you for a wonderful evening; we will definitely be back!"

"The food at this restaurant may be suitable for those looking for a long life, but not for those seeking a short life. The duck dish with black bean sauce was swimming in oil and overloaded with salt. The honey glazed shredded chilli chicken was overly sticky and chewy, lacking the promised abundance of chillies. Surprisingly, the rice was the highlight of the meal, being both tasty and reasonably priced at just 60 pence per serving."

"The restaurant offers a great variety of food, and the quality is excellent. It's quite spacious, which is nice. The only minor downside was that it was relatively quiet in the evening I visited, and I've seen similar comments in other reviews. On the plus side, this means you won't have to wait long for your meal. Hopefully, as more people discover it, it'll become busier. I definitely plan to return. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner."

"Good view and staff were friendly. Unfortunately the food was not good. The duck starter was tough and chewy, and the chicken supreme was also very tough seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or something so it dried out). Peppercorn sauce wasn't peppery. Fish was ok, but prawns were tasteless. The best parts of the meal were the crispy hen's egg and the new potatoes, while the carrots appeared to have been bought pre-cut which meant they were dry.Just pretty disappointing, to be honest : The rest of the customers were retirees, so it may appeal to different tastes, as shown by many good reviews."

"A first visit to this establishment even though we have driven passed it many times and always said we need to give this a try. it was a Saturday, early evening and there was a good mix of clientele which made for a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very friendly but didn 't seem to know which was our table even though it had been pre booked and how many of us would be there! The Rose Orchard serves Chinese food and traditional ales and spirits, it has a bar area with TV and a good size restaurant/seating area. As well as serving 'eat in ' they were also doing a good trade on the take away element of their business. The food arrived nice and hot and reasonably quickly however by the time it did arrive the plates were nearly cold. Unfortunately they didn 't utilise any form of heating to keep the food nice and hot so sadly by the time we got around to 'topping up ' what was on our plates the food on the dishes was cold! This was a shame because the actual food was very good, nicely seasoned and flavoursome. And plenty of it. The only thing making this a 4* review and not a 5* review was the fact the food was not kept warm. In retrospect we should maybe have asked for a food warmer as we saw one being brought out to a couple that came in and ordered after us. We will certainly revisit. If you decide to visit based on this review please be sure to request a food warmer."
