"However, not all restaurants use powders and artificial colorings in their dishes. Pundits Fusion in Upton-Upon-Severn is one such restaurant that prides itself on using fresh ingredients and seasonings in their cooking. I have been a fan of Pundits Fusion for over 10 years, as the owner, Sultan, knows how to take care of his customers and make everyone feel welcome. When I recently visited Pundits Fusion with some friends, we were greeted warmly by Sultan and treated to a delicious meal. We started with fish kebabs made with knife fish imported from Bangladesh and flavorful lamb samosas. For our main course, we enjoyed a variety of dishes including king prawn dansak, lamb rogan josh, mixed mishty, and tandoori chicken. The food was excellent, and we could see why Pundits Fusion has such a loyal following in the community. Sultan and his team have created a restaurant that goes beyond just serving food - it is a place where friends gather to enjoy delicious meals and good company. We left with full bellies and happy hearts, grateful for the wonderful experience at Pundits Fusion."

"Wow. I have eaten at 30+ Thai restaurants in the UK and this is now my absolute favourite. My husband and I lived in Bangkok for a number of years, so finding “authentic” Thai food is a way to stay connected to that time in our life. Not only is the food outstanding, but the owners are true restaurateurs. They glide around that place, giving everyone little bits of personal attention, which makes the whole experience perfect. It is no wonder they ask you to book weeks in advance. Star highlights for me after our first visit: Moo grawbp crispy pork with the most delicious sweet/sour dip. Pad see eew they actually use fresh wide rice noodles (no pad Thai rice sticks or mama noodles in sight). They also managed when it was busy, to cook a “Thai egg” (Kai daow) to go on top. On a weekend they even do Kanom Thuay which are delicious little bowls of coconutty pandaan goodness. I feel so lucky to live within driving distance of ZenThai. Cannot wait to go back. Side note the loos are pristine which always makes me feel happy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Satay, Prawn Crackers"

"we have ordered that food from saffron be delivered for at least two years, and so far it is always excellent. unfortunately before four weeks we tried to order by just eat and said they did not deliver. I arranged directly and could order food, but without the discount on just eat available. when it arrived, the main meal times were comminuted and the sauce filled the bottom of the bag. really disappointed. on Tuesday to order again and again no joy through just eat. unfortunately we order now from another restaurant. it is a real shame, as we enjoyed the quality and taste of the saffron kitchens. I hope they sort these problems and back to the level they should be."

"Our regular 'go to ' Chinese was shut for summer holidays and so had to make a last minute alternative for a takeaway. Very convenient as a 3 minute drive away (don 't bother with delivery unless your are a lot further away and then if you are there has to be something else as good more local). I am presuming this is now just a takeaway. There are tables but none were set. And the place is tiny. You have to walk through the tables to get to the place to order/collect your food. Food was ready quickly 15 mins which sadly means they probably had not a lot of custom on what was a midweek night in summer holiday season. No one else was in there in the few minutes I was there. OK, so my review of the food is based on only two dishes, a rice and some prawn crackers so no idea whether what I had was representative. One dish was good. One was bland. Portion sizes on the small side and so larger eaters than us will probably have wanted more for 2 persons (which then starts to make it expensive). Paid about the same as my go to place so it will be back to there next time. In this day and age surprised to see they offer 10% discount for cash on collection for orders over £20. They must have a very bad arrangement with their card payment processor."

"Ordered takeaway at Collected at Chicken Tikka, Bombay aloo, Sag aloo, Veg pilau and garlic Naan. Absolutely without taste. The naan was a pre bought supermarket version that had never visited a tandoori oven and similarly the chicken tikka was without...evidence of correct cooking in a prescribed oven. The side dishes were bland and the potatoes had not been cooked. A meagre amour it tandoori sauce was included. Rice was acceptable but an order of Madras sauce was simply a generic curry sauce enhanced with chilli. a complete disappointment and as an experienced visitor to hundreds of Indian restaurants this was unacceptable. Was my timing lacking as the early order missed the firing of the Tandoor? Used this restaurant before and have always been satisfied. Incidentally no web site or email address!!!"

"Well the service was brill, fast, and the most important thing to me, the food, omg , very good quality food. Only dwn-side was the waiter who watches other people/things when serving you along With using his phone phone. He kind-of spoilt the amazing food part."

"Lovely people really make going to Amira's Kitchen special. The food is freshly cooked and delicious with plenty of variety and something a bit different with their street food and specials. We loved the idea of High Chai a mix of Indian savouries and traditional English afternoon tea with a twist the spiced jams with the scones were excellent! Can't wait to see what else they have up their sleeves I hear there is a new cocktail menu coming in their revamped bar!"

"Went on a cold Saturday night, was the 5th visit and it put me off for life which is a shame as I've always thought I this place as a great. Table booked for 715, arrived at 7 for a drink which took an age as the waiter didn't know how to make our drinks, we, weren't seated until 730 when the restaurant wasn't busy. The wine we wanted wasn't available, was advIsed on another more expensive but couldn't have it at original wines price. Starters came, partners scallops were not cold but not hot, the acompanying squid was hot so maybe a kitchen timing problem? Service delay?? My pidgeon came out hit but slightly over done. Mains were fantastic but again came warm not hot!? It was a snowy...read more"

"Delicious take-away. My husband and oldest little walked over from the Premier Inn to grab us dinner from Shanghai. He commented that the staff was incredibly nice. Wow we had SO MUCH FOOD! The portions are large! We enjoyed everything. Orange chicken. Honey chicken. Rice. I had some sort of lo mein or noodle dish. Everything was fantastic. I wish we had a fridge in our room because I felt so guilty throwing the excess away."

"The restaurant was average, with friendly staff, but it had a dated feel. The food was decent, although it could have been warmer. The staff were polite, but the prices were a bit high for the portions. We tried starters and a couple of main courses, but they were just okay and not enough for two people. The drinks were expensive, and the decor was quirky with Thai artifacts scattered around. It felt like eating in a traditional Thai home. Overall, I probably wouldn't return, but some may find the charm appealing."

"We ordered a selection of dishes from the happy hour menu at £18.95 per person, including vegetable dhansak, vegetable korai, garlic mushrooms on puri, poppadoms, and rice. We requested all dishes to be made vegan, which the chefs were happy to accommodate, and substituted naans for poppadoms. The garlic mushrooms on puri were beautifully presented and nicely spiced, although the portion size was a bit small. The dhansak and korai dishes were delicious and full of flavor, with perfectly cooked vegetables and rice, and minimal oil. We also ordered the sambar chana to ensure we had enough food for two adults and our son. The sambar chana from the vegan menu was excellent and arrived promptly. Our total bill came to around £55 and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The staff and atmosphere were great as well. I would recommend ordering traditional dishes and asking for them to be made vegan, as some options in the vegan menu section were mostly dry dishes. We plan on returning again in the future."

"My wife, my baby son and I met up with one of her friends and her baby daughter. This first and last experience wasn't very good to be honest. Firstly, cash only, and the nearest ATM is a long sprint up the main street, so that didn't give a good first impression. Secondly, we looked at the menu once finally seated, and there was a £5 charge for any food waste on the plate. I think the reason they take the plates away while you're still eating is because they can justify charging you that £5. Thirdly, the food was...okay at best. We've had better food for a much lesser price, and I am sure the shrimp was undercooked/raw. Lastly, the staff were quite abrupt and not very nice. We received a few dirty looks because the babies were understandably making some noise. Can honestly say we wont be back. It's a shame since we've heard so many good things about it in the past."

"Good view and staff were friendly. Unfortunately the food was not good. The duck starter was tough and chewy, and the chicken supreme was also very tough seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or something so it dried out). Peppercorn sauce wasn't peppery. Fish was ok, but prawns were tasteless. The best parts of the meal were the crispy hen's egg and the new potatoes, while the carrots appeared to have been bought pre-cut which meant they were dry.Just pretty disappointing, to be honest : The rest of the customers were retirees, so it may appeal to different tastes, as shown by many good reviews."

"I had an amazing experience at The Spiced Mango a few weeks ago with some great company. The meal was delicious and I must give high compliments to the Chef! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the staff and enjoyed the very friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a similar experience. Thank you to The Spiced Mango - can't wait to come back again! Service: Dine in."

"We (a party now of 5, was 6) have been coming here a number of years but probably not any more. We came just before Christmas when the food was as good as ever (except it didn't all come out together). There were staffing problems. We were there on Saturday when service was appalling and no celebration of Chinese New Year. Had it not been for Aaron we might have left after the starter. 4 hot starters followed by 1 cold starter. We had eaten the hot starters by then. We were then given cold bowls for the main course but Aaron replaced these with warmer bowls and brought the plate we had asked for. We asked to speak to Ellie. We were told she was too busy. We were asked to wait 10 minutes. We decided not to bother. We have always left a generous tip but not this time. No-one was supervising the young waiting on staff and Aaron was running about like a madman trying to please everyone."

"from outside it looks like absolutely nothing. exfoliating red color, crispy midday specialties advertised. but forget the phenomena – this is the real thing and almost to real life Indian prices too! a whole banquet for --9.95, consisting of an appetizer, main, vegetable and rice or nanan. here the size in no way will compensate for the quantity. almost daylight robbery. my moral compass has even clicked to pay the tiny, tiny scare at the end. everything I ate was delicious, everything special and I was ashamed that this was to my complete shock. excellent rita – again I am an alptraum above rita – excellent mango...read more"

"I celebrated my 59th birthday with my wife, daughter and the team at Henry's yesterday evening. We are frequent visitors, both for dinner and the Sunday buffet (take aways also) and are always made to feel so welcome to the point that we feel part of the Henry's Oriental family. We first discovered Henry's through friends back in 2011 and my wife and I, friends and family members, still enjoy the Henry's experience to this day. We have never been disappointed. The care and consideration for customers offered by Henry and his wonderful team (a special shout out to Zowie, sorry if the spelling is incorrect) is faultless and the food is, without fail, amazing. I can't thank the team enough for making my 59th birthday complete. Looking forward to celebrating with you on my 60th."

"I´m a recrurrent client of Sokury, most of the times ordering via Deliveroo. The food is really good, nice hot dishes and very fresh and nice sushi. Not top cuisine, but taking into perspective that is a small takeaway, it is really good. My children are big fans and it never disappoints."

"I have been coming to this restaurant every other weekend for the past 12 years, especially when Crystal Palace plays. The food has always been top-notch, from the quality and taste to the portion sizes and service. It is definitely the best restaurant in the area and I always look forward to my meal here. The mixed grill is a personal favorite and never disappoints. A big shoutout to Sam and his team for consistently delivering such great food and service."

"I’m not quite sure where to start with this as I’ve never experienced such poor service in a restaurant before but I’ll try. So we were a party of 10 celebrating my mother in law’s 60th. My partner isn’t from Dumfries and Galloway so just told me he’d looked this place up and decided to book it. I hadn’t really heard of it and had initially wanted to go to the Bank but after looking at reviews of Truffles and seeing people speak highly of the food I thought let’s give it a try. I noticed many speaking about how awful the owner was but I thought surely he can’t be that bad if people are still going and people are still leaving good reviews. How wrong I was! Another warning sign I should have noticed was that we initially booked in for the Friday but changed to the Saturday and they were able to accommodate that easily last minute so clearly aren’t busy. We were running 15mins late. I called to let them know and apologise. The waitress who answered the phone was accepting of this and said it was ok. On arriving the owner ‘greeted’ us. I again apologised and he shrugged his shoulders but let us in. We all sat down and he immediately came to ask us if we wanted drinks. We were looking at the drinks menu and discussing what we wanted when he repeated in a slow and aggressive tone DO.YOU.WANT.ANY.DRINKS??! It was extremely awkward. My dad asked about red wine and he used his notepad to lean over my dad and aggressively hit the menu and point to a wine on the list. We ordered drinks which included 2 pints of beer. As he walked away we all felt very uncomfortable and decided we did not want to spend our money in such a venue when the atmosphere was cold and aggressive. We all decided to leave. My partner spoke to the owner letting him know his front of house manner was appalling and that we’d be leaving. He said he didn’t “understand people” and that he expected us to pay for the pints that had been poured. I gave him a £20 note and he aggressively gave it back to me, stating he had no money in the till to give me change and swiftly snatched the pints back and put them behind the bar. We then left and were politely accommodated in the Bank next door (which I would highly recommend). As we left, the waitress apologised on our way out. I actually felt bad leaving her in such a cold and horrible environment. That owner should not be front of house. He is rude. He is right, he doesn’t understand people and has no people skills whatsoever. I would avoid this place like the plague and go next door to the Bank! (The one star is for the waitress who we had to leave behind)"
