"Removing my review from 2 yrs back because this place has gone downhill since and doesn't deserve my positive feedback no more. Firstly the guy at the front (he's new coz the previous lad was a gentleman) is awful and a bully. He has no scooby on decency in speaking to customers and offering a decent service. My account was on credit because l paid twice on one order.. Why coz your basket is never emptied from your previous order and if you don't remove it you end up paying twice. Came back to claim my credit and the same lady who advised me against getting my money back claims l had already used my credit! So l guess l made it up. You have no right to treat customers the way you treated me when l came to request for my credit of which l have proof of payment and you never showed me any proof of me claiming it. This used to be my favourite place but never going back and you can keep that money for all l care."

"The restaurant is located near the fashionable argyle shopping district. I went here with my mom. We ordered spring rolls and wanton soup. The soup was delicious with a very flavorful broth. We split a ginger beef main dish. It was very good. The large...portion was easily enough for both of us. I love ginger and can never have too much, so I think there could have been more in the dish. dinner for two in a beautiful sit down. Really lovely. And the locals must love it too. They have a hopping take away business. It was highly recommended by the bicycle delivery man we saw out front and seven more picked up while we were there."

"Used this Chinese for years. Unfortunately since it has changed to new management the prices have gone up but the quality has gone right down. Ordered tonight and ended up having to return some of it, the food i did eat was bland. Prawn crackers are terrible now with a weird after taste. Also was over charged but didnt realise until i checked the menu. Real shame as i used to love this Chinese."

"They do accommodation too now. a night, that seems slightly pricey for a room in a Chinese restaurant but it’s for and all that so must be because it’s saving the planet. I heard that Greta lassie is staying here. She loves Salt “N” Chilli chicken “N” chips can’t get it in Sweden seemingly, she doesn’t like banana fritters though cause of the carbon footprint associated with shipping them from Columbia. Seems as if everything from Columbia now a days is illegal, immoral or fattening. Anyway, rooms get yourself down there grab a bargain."

"We've had deliveries twice when visiting our daughter, both on Saturday nights. The first time the order wasn't quite right and they forgot our free prawn crackers, but the second time it was perfect. On both occasions the food turned up on time and was hot and tasty, good sized portions and very good value, except the prawn curry the prawns were swimming in the curry sauce, unlike the chicken curry which was great!"

"Went in here after a long journey from Australia on the way to my AirBnB close by....tried to order but was advised by the person on the counter that all my notes that I had ordered through a major Australian bank before arriving in...Scotland, “looked counterfeit” and would not be accepted, despite having used a same looking note, issued by the same national bank of Australia, earlier in the day. When I enquired about using eftpos I were advised they didn’t have any. Went across the road and bought a subway with the note with no hassle. Probably a blessing in disguise as the shop looked filthy."

"after 45 minutes still had not received food or drink (coke nothing fancy) whilst all tables around had received food and drink even though we ordered way before them. Had to get up and remind the waiter of our existence. We then got our drinks and 1 item of food .. they then bring us the wrong meal and claim they had a technical issue and had to retake our order after 1 hour. We order our dessert as well so they have time to get this sorted. Whilst waiting for our food still they decide to bring us 1 dessert which we send back. They then tell us our order which I placed over an hour ago is actually out of stock. I say can we just have dessert so we can leave. They come back and say the dessert is out of stock. Terrible experience. The two starters we had where nice. They had to nerve to come over and ask how our meal was whilst we ate chicken wings. Left hungry !"

"This is a cute little restaurant in the heart of the West End. Service was good and the prices were relatively low but unfortunately I found the food a bit bland and certainly not comparable with the best Indonesian meals I've eaten. This is a good place to stop into if you are to one of the many nearby theatres but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here."

"We ordered the hot pot for three people and received a large pot of soup filled with meat, seafood, vegetables, and rice. It was incredible! None of us had ever tried hot pot before, and it was our first time experiencing Chinese cuisine as a family. We ended up loving it. "I will preface this review by saying this was my first trip to an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet for about five years and so I might be a bit enthusiastic because of that but I really think this place is fantastic. First of all I was surprised by the entrance. A nice spacious car park that surrounds the really impressive architecture. I really wasn't expecting anything like that is terms of external décor but was really impressed. Walking in, the building was spacious and we were seated for lunch straightaway. We did come on a Wednesday at about one o'clock so it wasn't as busy as it might be on weekends and in the evenings and that suited us just fine. The drinks service was quick and both a pint of Budweiser and glass of Sauvignon Blanc were under £4 each which you don't see in many places these days. In fact the value of the place being £12.50 each for a lunch buffet is such good value for money. If you were spending the equivalent on a takeaway you wouldn't be getting much food. The range of food was good, not as much as I have seen in Chinese restaurants in the past, but it's a good range for a lunchtime and there was plenty of the favourites. Really tasty food, both had a plate of starters and then some mains and it was all really delicious. Ribs, chicken satay, prawn toast, lemon chicken, noodles, egg fried rice, all great. A few random dishes such as little sausages and hash brown balls that I can only put down to food for the kids. The atmosphere was good, seats comfortable, and dining experience very pleasant. Will be going again soon."

"we booked a table for 5 of us. we had eaten here many years ago, so decided to come back. we all ordered a meal that was very tasty. but. they expect a long waiting period. there's no filthy. we didn't get our main thing until...9:15 and waited for them for 45 minutes. then we were told that we hurry from the waitress when they close at 10 o'clock. that leads me to my next discussion. I had asked about 9 o'clock where the meal was. we felt as if we felt inconvenient, and then we became more frightened with a attitude. a man was not impressed and gave us no professionalism at all. I would also like to say that the restaurant is nothing but to think that they are at a funeral. the drinks are very limited and so is the menu. which Indian bangladeshi restaurant has no fried rice. I would also say that music would be useful in the background. oh jah and serviettes instead of kitchen towels would be helpful. I would invest in the waiter's staff and show them what is the right service, as they could not have been there. we will not return and if they want a soul willing atmosphere and wait old for her to eat, they were not busy on the way then go on. Listen to you."

"Visited Carisma last night with a group of 7 friends for a birthday get together. It was such a lovely atmosphere the whole time we were there and the team on were amazing. Attentive and charming. Couldn’t fault anything and very good value food and drinks for the quality of service and food we received.
