"Used this Chinese for years. Unfortunately since it has changed to new management the prices have gone up but the quality has gone right down. Ordered tonight and ended up having to return some of it, the food i did eat was bland. Prawn crackers are terrible now with a weird after taste. Also was over charged but didnt realise until i checked the menu. Real shame as i used to love this Chinese."

"The restaurant is located near the fashionable argyle shopping district. I went here with my mom. We ordered spring rolls and wanton soup. The soup was delicious with a very flavorful broth. We split a ginger beef main dish. It was very good. The large...portion was easily enough for both of us. I love ginger and can never have too much, so I think there could have been more in the dish. dinner for two in a beautiful sit down. Really lovely. And the locals must love it too. They have a hopping take away business. It was highly recommended by the bicycle delivery man we saw out front and seven more picked up while we were there."

"We've had deliveries twice when visiting our daughter, both on Saturday nights. The first time the order wasn't quite right and they forgot our free prawn crackers, but the second time it was perfect. On both occasions the food turned up on time and was hot and tasty, good sized portions and very good value, except the prawn curry the prawns were swimming in the curry sauce, unlike the chicken curry which was great!"

"Went in here after a long journey from Australia on the way to my AirBnB close by....tried to order but was advised by the person on the counter that all my notes that I had ordered through a major Australian bank before arriving in...Scotland, “looked counterfeit” and would not be accepted, despite having used a same looking note, issued by the same national bank of Australia, earlier in the day. When I enquired about using eftpos I were advised they didn’t have any. Went across the road and bought a subway with the note with no hassle. Probably a blessing in disguise as the shop looked filthy."

"after 45 minutes still had not received food or drink (coke nothing fancy) whilst all tables around had received food and drink even though we ordered way before them. Had to get up and remind the waiter of our existence. We then got our drinks and 1 item of food .. they then bring us the wrong meal and claim they had a technical issue and had to retake our order after 1 hour. We order our dessert as well so they have time to get this sorted. Whilst waiting for our food still they decide to bring us 1 dessert which we send back. They then tell us our order which I placed over an hour ago is actually out of stock. I say can we just have dessert so we can leave. They come back and say the dessert is out of stock. Terrible experience. The two starters we had where nice. They had to nerve to come over and ask how our meal was whilst we ate chicken wings. Left hungry !"

"Located 10 minute stroll from Leicester Sq tube, and with huge competition from rest of Soho this restaurant is small but clean, well organised and very friendly. Efficient service and very pleasant and good humoured staff. The food we had a six dish rijstaffel rice table was superb with the highlights being very fresh plump prawns, lightly battered calamari, most tasty dishes of beef and chicken, and quite the best satay peanut sauce that we have had since the Rasa Sayang restaurant in Frith St closed down and that was 20 years ago! The cost, including a very nice bottle of wine was about £50 for the two of us and the value and quality means that we will be back the next time we are in town, and heartily recommend this eatery to anyone in the soho area. 10/10"

"We ordered the hot pot for three people and received a large pot of soup filled with meat, seafood, vegetables, and rice. It was incredible! None of us had ever tried hot pot before, and it was our first time experiencing Chinese cuisine as a family. We ended up loving it. I'm already thinking about celebrating my birthday with my family at this restaurant in December."

"Visited Carisma last night with a group of 7 friends for a birthday get together. It was such a lovely atmosphere the whole time we were there and the team on were amazing. Attentive and charming. Couldn’t fault anything and very good value food and drinks for the quality of service and food we received. We also had a vegan guest with us and although the offerings aren’t as good as some bigger chains the quality of food she tried and the items available were amazing. "my wife and I went here to eat a quick bite and were initially optimistic. the reviews were mostly good and the staff was friendly. we ordered the baked rice, a hand roll and a drachen roll. the meat in the fried rice. was much over boiled so that it was dry, hard and tasteless. there was no sweetness in the rice (never the picture on the menu) and the spicy tasted as if it were just soy sauce. the handrolle was bland, and the drachenrolle tasted as if it was over a week ago. we were still hungry, but decided that we would rather be hungry than ordering anything else. judging by eating alone, I would rate this place a star, but the personal was friendly and the service was fast. the notizblock papers with customer drawings about the walls give him a funny feeling, so there are definitiw potential. but eating was sad only bad."

"Had extremely high hopes of this place after seeing its great reviews online. Arrived to the restaurant to collect the order no issues. When we returned to our accommodation and tucked into the meal it was beyond disappointing. Prawn bhuna was bland which my partner didn’t eat, naan bread was like a supermarket whack in the oven job.. mint sauce was pretty much water, chips soggy, Popadoms stale. Called into the restaurant to advise of our dissatisfaction and get a replacement order, was told that as they’ve had no other complaints tonight they can’t help us. This is the first negative restaurant review I’ve left and I don’t like doing this as I know it can be damaging for small business. However we were left in the lurch when we raised an issue."

"What can I say, phenomenal from start to finish. We were greeted with champagne for our anniversary and a really warm welcome. The tapas is delicious, get the creme brulee afterwards it's gorgeous. The service is the best around. The decor is beautiful and we felt so relaxed in the restaurant. We felt like we'd been a hundred times with the warm welcome. They make you feel like family. We had Asif serving us and he was fantastic and we can't wait to come back."
