The Winner City - Menu

Dropped in on a whim. Pleasantly surprised. Very tasty food, quick service and good value on the Sunday special menu. Food tasted freshly prepared and staff were superb.

We had our first takeaway meal since last November before there kitchens closed due to a fire. They did not disappointed, the meal was excellent, hot and fresh. Glad they’re back.

been here the last couple of weeks on a Sunday between 12-4 , offer a £9.20 set starter /main and side it was lovely and fresh , great staff , will be a regular couldn't complain about anything

Just had my first takeaway booked online. Arrived in my time slot and it was ready in a few minutes. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Got home and enjoyed the fresh tasting dishes we had ordered. Now sitting well satisfied with a glass enjoying a film. Like it.

We went as a family of 6 Sunday at 5pm . Starters were fab. Finished around 620pm. One hour later still had no mains courses, by the time they came my beef and bean spouts were cold and bland, and crispy sheerded beef was not spicy . But over all ok but won’t rush back sorry

Not happy with service forgot some of our order then had to wait for my main whilst rice etc.. on table. All way thro the meal the telephone was constantly ringing this was so annoying they never answered it once!! The main upset on leaving was as my husband left and I went to pay the lady chased my husband out saying you not paid in front of all the diners!!! I assume from our appearance tattoos etc.. she assumed that of us. On returning to me at the counter were I was paying NO APOLOGY we will defo not recommend or return!!!

We drive past Winner city a lot on our way to other places and have always wondered what it’s like so took a punt on a Saturday in a heatwave and was thrilled that we did. The interior is lovely and my son (4) was very impressed which reminded us both of our first time at a Chinese restaurant over 30 years ago when it felt exotic! Service was perfect and the food was fantastic. Really fresh and absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back again. A few reviews we read has commented ok service but I think since covid it’s been harder for restaurants to find people, we had a few trainees but they were a delight and very attentive.

This was before the worst of covid. the winner city have used covid to refurbish the restaurant which is nearly completed. i took my friends and family for an all you can eat meal, the food was excellent as usual and a great price too the speed with which they completed each course was tremendous. the team are friendly and very hospitable as soon as your glass was empty they asked do you need more.we were there for about 3 hours because it was a birthday bash and they did not try to usher us out as other restaurants do. i really do like the food and atmosphere at the winner city. do try it out you will not be disapointed everyone in our party thought it was excellent the food was so tasty.

We (a party now of 5, was 6) have been coming here a number of years but probably not any more. We came just before Christmas when the food was as good as ever (except it didn't all come out together). There were staffing problems. We were there on Saturday when service was appalling and no celebration of Chinese New Year. Had it not been for Aaron we might have left after the starter. 4 hot starters followed by 1 cold starter.
