"I started with the gravlax, which was delightful but on the smaller side for a starter. It was beautifully presented with accents of finely sliced green apple dressed in a lemon gel, dollops of avocado puree, and tiny touches of mayonnaise. My companion had the red pesto arancini, which didn't look very appealing initially, leading to her slight disappointment, but they turned out to be divine in flavor. I mistakenly ordered my bavette steak medium rare instead of my preferred rare, and I regretted that decision. However, it was still a very good dish, featuring tender steak accompanied by flavorful barley, sautéed haricot vert, and fresh pea shoots. My companion's lamb was outstanding; it was cooked sous vide and seared at high heat, served with delicious Borlotti beans, a sweet poached pear, and a wonderfully caramelized carrot. The entire plate was exquisite and beautifully complemented by the lamb. We also enjoyed a side of new potatoes, which were presented in a sauce with veal, butter, and chives, topped with roasted breadcrumbs for added texture. All the dishes were thoughtfully designed, although they were a bit on the salty side. I personally enjoy a salty flavor, but if you're sensitive to salt, you might find the dishes overwhelming. The house red wine was pleasant and reasonably priced at £19.40 per bottle. They also accept the Tastecard, a discount card for restaurants that offers 50% off food during weekdays. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience!"
