"we were on the cribbs causeway who bought and we stopped at the patisserie valerie for a coffee and a snack. there are some places where they can have a coffee in cribbs, but what I like about patisserie valerie is that it is table service. so we sat at our table and looked over the menu. the place was busy, but the service was excellent, and we didn't have to wait long to order. my first choice was an aprikosendamm, but they had run out. So I went with my second choice, which was not a baked, but valeries walisische rarebit. our food arrived immediately, which was nice, especially since the place was quite full of diners. Valerie’s welsh rarebit was roasted with a pickled egg, tomato cahutney, cheddar, slender with a beside salad. I don't think I ever had rarebit, so I was interested to see how it would be. that was a beautiful freches toast dish, the senf was subtle and added warmth. the fried egg was perfectly cooked. I liked the tomato chutney that was on the side, I thought it was a little too sweet for me. overall it was a really nice light meal. I think one of the reasons I had not ordered or had before was that I was actually looking for cake or a complete meal. Valerie’s welsh rarebit for me is more of a snack, or a light meal. next to me I had a flat white, not the best flat white of the world, but it was a good coffee."

Great food, good table service. We had to wait a while, but that shows how popular it is!

visited here for a cream tee (before lockdown 2) and it was amazing. I had food intolerances and they were more than happy to help in the choice of sandwiches and make changes that were necessary for me. the waitress was very friendly and helpful. the price was a good value for what they get. the sandwiches, cakes and drinks were amazing. the service was fast. the restaurant was clean and tidy. there are good social distancing measures. can not wait to visit again when the lock-off is finished.

I like patisserie valerie in der mall cribbs causeway. it is a beautiful place to enjoy a place for lunch or coffee and cake. I used to have been tea at afternoon (I bought a voucher by groupon) and the afternoon tea was nice. the sandwiches and cakes were all really fresh and delicious. I was also there for lunch before I had her carbonara, which was delicious! I should have done that again! I would say it is a little expensive compared to some places, but eating is always of good quality and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

"We booked our family Xmas dinner there was very excited for it tbh , when we arrived the waitresses was friendly and amazing really good staff especially the young girl waiting our table , unfortunately when the food came was very disappointing I think my meat was lamb but the slices was so thin it almost seemed packet store bought again the carrots we had 3 slices very small and not even a quarter of a parsnip and a ball of something. That was mashed and the potatoes was simply lacking the gravy was nice aslo the condiments but then the desserts came and unfortunately followed suit with the sicky toffee pudding was obviously brought in and microwaved and hot held for a long time as there was a layer about the size of the top of my little finger that was hard and dried out basically and to top it off we let the waitress know some was orders with custard as it’s all pre ordered next thing we know the chef was at our table with her back up letting us know we was wrong untill we showed her the order form un professional tbh we was paying up to 30£ per person for this and from a table full of chefs and waitresses stand point never really do reviews but as it’s a lovely place thought needed to be said as a professional you need to hear the negatives to improve otherwise people will say it’s good and never return , bar staff front of house staff 10 out 0f 10 thou"
