"Hunters chicken ordered, but when it arrived only 3 minutes later !!! , it was dry and tasteless. Waitress said they would inform the chef ?? , there was no feedback! Not recommended at all. Edit: I can't be held responsible if your server didn't tell your chef. I said the chicken was dry and tasteless, not the pulled pork. If the chicken was already precooked, then kept warm, it will invariably dry out. The description of the dish on the menu also said smothered in cheese, but you must have a different meaning to smothered than I do."

"to be a good Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the center of curry mile, they must stand out and young do them protrude. as soon as they enter, the decor will transport them to another place. the location is illuminated by an eclectic group of lights of different shapes and colors, and the walls are covered with sensory overloading posters and color. the service is also excellent! the personal is very friendly, and the restaurant is allergic friendly by listing all common allergens beside each item and the personal ensures that all their allergen needs are visited. the food was A-OK. it was not the biggest Indian (or indo-Chinese) eating that I had, but it was quite delicious! I had the vegetable peppers, which is much more than soy sauce, and the sweet pepperini, where the vegetables are grilled with masala before putting the sandwich together. both options were great! I also had a strawberry cocktail that was sweet and sour, crisp and refreshing. If you're craving for an Indian eating that has a fusion dragon, I'd look past it!"

"In general, I have had better experience at this place. So this might be down to Vivid that the restaurant failed me know his time. But Vivid or not, if you are serving customers then you don't make them wait minutes to place their order, you don't make them remind you three times to get their drinks, you don't serve them cold lamb chops starters. Food was okay, but Open table menu was different from what we were given... almost of menu items weren't available... utterly disappointing. Final straw was when we asked to look at the dessert menu, we were told we can't get dessert because it was minutes to pm and they had to close by pm sharp, else they would get fined. So why on earth did no one come to tell us sooner that if we wanted dessert, we should place the order soon? Absolutely shambolic wedding anniversary meal"

"It has been a while since we visited, because of the pandemic and isolation. Enjoyed a first class meal here again. The food was excellent. Nice regional dishes which were full of flavours. Staff helpful, and the owner friendly. He came over to our table and was chatting, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back, and soon"

"We made a last-minute dinner reservation for a party of 5 colleagues. Despite being busy on a Thursday, we really enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere of the restaurant. The menu offers a variety of street food and South Indian style curries, with clear labels for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. I personally loved the mutar mushroom dish with rice and peshwari naan, which were all delicious. The vegetarian curries were a bit spicier than expected, so I recommend opting for milder options if you're not a fan of spice. The drinks menu was extensive, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful, and the service was excellent. The total bill came to £125 for papadum, main courses with rice and naan, drinks, and service for all five of us, which we felt was a fair price considering how full we were at the end of the meal."

"Banyan on the Thames is a nomenclatural inexactitude because the banyan tree is an inhabitant of the Indian subcontinent, rather than being passed off as a floating ficus on the Thames. Belonging as it does to the fig family, the original banyan drops spectacular aerial roots from its branches to the ground beneath its immense verdant canopy, producing a most unique treat for the eyes. The name of this tree has been appropriated by the Raphael on the Left Bank hotel in London for its restaurant. Maybe it aptly symbolises the roots of the restaurant being in the subcontinent. What strikes one about the place on first sight is someone's apparent obsession with the Medusa, signifying the Versace brand, which appears on every table top and virtually all over. The second striking feature is the artificial grass laid out both indoors and outside in the so called “garden” where there is a profusion of fake flowers, creepers and shrubs. It looks tacky and creepy and screams fake. The atmosphere in the so called garden, was not helped by the music played at decibels that are designed to hurt the ear drums. Food was fair to middling in quality, taste and presentation. The standard of service was reasonable. On the other hand, the location is magical. You can spend quite a while looking out through the large glass windows as the world goes by. The Thames flows quietly, more water under Battersea bridge, while you are people watching. And if you are feeling energetic, one has the opportunity of course to refresh oneself by striding along the Thames in the company of others who may be ambling, jogging and strolling. In conclusion, it’s really nothing to write home about"

"Thank you so much to Talha for looking after my boyfriend and I as we dined at Mumtaz for my 25th birthday. We have been to Mumtaz many times and Talha was so friendly and welcoming and he really looked after us throughout our starters, mains and even gave us a free chai tea to take with us on our way out. This was all before he even knew it was my birthday which made me appreciate it even more as he was just being kind out of the goodness of his heart. Thanks so much Talha, we will be back again in the future as we have been many times before, always an amazing experience."

"I gave my order to my son to collect from Chillis on 22/10/22. The order was for a chicken tikka masala, onion bhajis, Bombay potatoes, plain rice and a Peshwari naan. When my son brought the food home, I could see straight away that food colouring had been used in the chicken tikka masala as it was bright red but what was most disappointing is that I had been charged £10.95 for it and it only had seven pieces of chicken in it and two of those pieces were quite small. The Bombay potato was equally disappointing. It was too salty and far too spicy and at £5.95, way too expensive. Bombay potato is one of my favourite things to eat. After a few mouthfuls, I couldn't eat any more of it. The Peshwari naan bread looked more like a paratha and for some unknown reason also had red food colouring in it. Overall, it was quite disappointing and too expensive for what we got."

"Unwelcoming. Very slow service, had to ask a person who worked in the back who was not a waiter to serve us and he was very nice, if he hadn't done so we would have left. They should employ him as front man! Wrong dish was served. Service was unfriendly, like we were not wanted there. As they served the wrong dish I had to eat my food after the person accompanying me had finished his. Is a large restaurant which is a little chilly, absolutely no effort by the waiters and no ambience, there was some background music but could hardly hear it. Shame because the food is very good and has been since they opened. No good for couples."

"which pack a spicy punch. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service make for a pleasant dining experience. The menu includes traditional Kerala cuisine as well as some unique fusion dishes. The flavors are bold and the spice levels can be adjusted to suit your preference. Overall, Kerala Kitchen is a great choice for those who enjoy flavorful and spicy food in a welcoming setting."

"My partner and I recently visited EastzEast in Blackburn for a night out before attending a Kevin Bridges show. The timing was perfect, the atmosphere was excellent, and we all had a great time. However, I will go into more detail about that in my review of Kevin Bridges. Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was quite terrible. The service was a complete failure. When we arrived, there was no welcome or greeting. Fortunately, our friends were already seated in the bar area, so we joined them right away. From there, we experienced long wait times reminiscent of those at Alton Towers, along with service that felt neglectful. We had to request to be seated, 15 minutes after our reservation time. We had to guide our server through taking our order. We had to guess which items were available. In the end, we had to take our main courses to go because there wasn't enough time. We thought that 2 hours would be plenty of time to feed a party of 6. The food was mediocre, not up to the standards of other EastzEast locations. It was clear that there was poor service, average food, and a lack of training. However, Kevin Bridges' show was fantastic."

"Abysmal, all the recent negative reviews on Google about this restaurant are accurate. Unfortunately I read them after I placed my order. There were 3 or 4 missing items yet they had the audacity to put a box of egg rice (like sand) and write “free egg rice on the house” what a joke. Th food which included a set meal of many items was sent out too early, was not fresh, all tasted of low quality. The worst thing of all was the lazy delivery driver who called my mobile struggling ' to find my house, the whole time he was sat in the car, and my husband ended up out for more than 5 minutes when he returned he said he was the one who had to open the driver 's passenger door and take the food himself. Staff could all do with a lesson or 2 on customer service. DO NOT ORDER from this restaurant."
