"The restuant looks attractive both from outsode and inside. Had a lovely atmosphere and the service and staff were professional and great at their work. Had a breakfast and ordered the shakshuka and tofu scramble. Waiting time for food to arrive was reasonable. Food was prepared well and hot as expected. Taste for both dishes was around average and had to add tobasco and ketchup to add some flavour. Coffee was also well presented but tasted very bitter even after adding sugar. Menu was fairly limited too. Washroom facilities were nice and clean and well maintained. Paid almost £30 for the 2 dishes and a coffee."

"Can't rate this place enough. Visited for breakfast and easily catered for two coeliacs and one vegetarian. Absolutely blown away by the menu choices for gluten free. Food was astounding. "A reasonable buffet experience not far apart from the run of the Mill however the pictures make it look like an up market Chinese serving what looks like really good food however we chose the buffet. everything was going well we ate the starters we got the Duck but when it came to ordering in the mains the staff member turns round and says you haven't finished the Duck you need to finish the duck before you move on I looked at him puzzled and said politely there's just bones there and fat we've eaten all the meat he look surprised he looked at me removed the dish with an experience waiter he should have seen what was left on the plate we were allowed to continue absolutely disgusted how dare he decide whether we've cleared our plate like children we refuse to pay the so-called 10% service charge which these restaurants are being very cleverly adding onto the bill the right to remove wasn't an option we were told we would do it kindly this time but next time we won't sorry for this place they won't be a next time we won't be coming back what these places need to remember that everybody that's coming in has paid the stupid £14 pounds to come into Portsmouth clean air payment and then have to put up a stupidness like this you're meant to come here for a good time not leave disappointed ..... about time review read and what a complete waste of time your response was eat as much as you can we did we cleared the plates I do hope this is put everybody off going here there's a shame I didn't read the reviews before I went myself what an embarrassment"

"The food was really very good. We had a party of 5 and had advised that we were opting for the 5 course, however our food came before the sorbet so we cancelled the 5 course at that point. Errors happen and to be honest our party was already full as the mains and starters were gorgeous. The deserts were also very good, however the creme brûlée was advertised as a pistachio creme brûlée but we couldn’t taste any pistachio in it. All in all really very good."

"This is the summary of our experience with the summer set lunch menu in babur: Pros: Nice atmosphere, beautiful tent and fine dining setup, quiet and cozy, delicious dal and acceptable food. Cons: tiny tiny walking insect in the side-salad of the dish I am not sure is it because of the semi-outdoor lunch area or from the kitchen? . Lamb ribs was not fresh and it was probably cooked in the day before and then warmed up, it was old and chewy. Instead of one dal for each person as written in the menu, we had a dal to share for each two person, and when we asked for extra top-up, the answer was no! Ignorant service: although they were not busy at all, they ignored us couple of time and we had to call twice for any request. We had to pay the set lunch price for our child, although there is a child price in the menu and we asked for that in the beginning. However, as the portions were really small even the naan was half-normal-size , we do not regret it. All in all, the food and service, we got, was much below the expectation one could get from the reviews."

"Our first visit to this delightful family run restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. We visited in the evening and were able to park right outside. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience. The staff were very welcoming and service throughout was very attentive without being intrusive. The menu offers a wide choice and we each selected 3 different steak cuts which were well cooked to our request. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. A nice touch was to add a lighted candle to my wife's dessert and orchestrate a chorus of happy birthday. An excellent experience only 4 stars for atmosphere but we ate early and I'm sure when it is full, the atmosphere will be 5 star vibrant. Thank you."

"Three of us, friends catching up, decided to dine at No. 77 on my suggestion, based on a positive experience 6 years ago. Despite some issues, we had a pleasant evening overall but left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return. We took a while to order due to arriving separately, but the waiter was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, there was a long wait for our food, and our main course arrived before our starter. Upon informing our waiter, he apologized and offered to check on the missing starter, but also asked if we wanted to proceed with the mains. We opted to wait for the starter, which had been forgotten. The staff apologized and offered another drink (not complimentary), but one order never arrived, prompting a trip to the bar to request it. The starter was lukewarm, while the mains were tasty, particularly the sticky rice, though my curry was disappointingly not very warm. Opting out of dessert due to time concerns, we found the staff friendly, the restaurant clean with trendy decor, but lacking in atmosphere for a Friday night. Despite the mediocre experience, the company made the evening enjoyable."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Petite Coree, and it was an absolute culinary delight. "we had lunch here today, for decades since I was in a harvester, and I took my teenagers today for the first time, it was really good! the personal was really friendly helpful, there were unavailable items that immediately informed us everything we wanted was available and was hot and tasty. double dirty burger, chicken waffel and the 1983 rotisserie huh and ripen. the staff that served them the salatable was not sure, but I understand why it was done. all very pleasant, we are back."

"It’s such a shame because I was really looking forward to staying in the hotel and eating here. They had run out of most things on the menu, it would have been better if they had explained that at the outset rather than hoping we wouldn’t pick something they didn’t have. The food we did have was ok, the chicken burger was nice enough but the side of slaw on the platter was warm which was slightly off putting. The chips were a soggy bundle in a separate dish, they looked homemade and should have been lovely but I don’t know what happened there. Overall there was just an air of tension. A foreign family came to eat at just after 20:30 and the kitchen had already closed. Probably because they had nothing left to serve but it was an uncomfortable exchange."

"We haven’t been to the Mint room in quite awhile and as it’s changing management we decided to give it a go . As all our other visits to this restaurant we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was also excellent. My wife has some very difficult allergies and this restaurant caters for her in a first class way . If the new restaurant continues to provide the same quality and service and we were told by the new manager that they want to improve on their menu choices) it’s bound to succeed. I’m looking forward to seeing what the new restaurant will be like."

"I think what shows is this is a restaurant with strong ambitions. I 'm told the menu has been recently revised, and its a fine menu with an inventive flare. The visiting menu is a very nice concept, that I hope they will continue with. Portion sizes are a little on the smaller side, you will want the starter, but I think this is partly reflected in the pricing which are on the low of average for Kensington. The food is well executed, and flavourful, presentation is good. Service was slightly green, did absolutely everything right (a rare thing), but maybe just not perfectly cohesively. Atmosphere is very pleasant. In summary, its actually a very nice restaurant. PS. The toilets are outstanding!"

"‘Giusto’ means just right and as I was in need of a quick lunch between conferences a panino with chips rather hit the spot. The ground floor is small and has the feel of an upmarket cafe. On my way to the washrooms downstairs, however, I passed through a much more capacious dining room with more of the character of a restaurant. The list of panini, all with top class ingredients, is extensive enough, even without supplemented by specials. But there are also plates of meats and hams as well as some more substantial mains. Some crispy chips accompanied by large bowls of mayonnaise and tomato ketchup preceded my beef and tomato panino nicely wrapped in paper. A glass of Pinot Grigio complemented this nicely. All arrived speedily and efficiently which given its City of London location is probably its most important feature."

"I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Despite my love for Fierce beer and desire to support local businesses, I purchased 12 cans and encountered a problem with the first can, 'Late Shift.' Initially, it tasted fine but towards the bottom it was filled with a thick, grainy brown liquid that I unknowingly consumed. This resulted in a very unpleasant experience the following day, causing me to reconsider purchasing more in the future."

"I wanted to come here for a while and so glad I finally managed to do it, because it was not disappointed. from the service, to wine, to the cheeseboard and the delicious net I can not recommend the 10 cases enough. we ordered the burrata and the cheeseboard to start, which were very fresh and varied in textures/bottles. for dinner, my friend and I shared the bark cheek gnocchi and the sole, the divine and both of the evening. the gnocchi was so tender and the sauce was perfect. my other friend had the vegetarian wellington she loved. Finally, the wine list is far and fascinating. absolutely loved everything we tried."
