"An excellent Indian restaurant in the center of Milan. The dishes are well made and well dosed. At lunch it is possible to order single dishes at a fixed price. Update as of 6/19/2020: I have always rated this restaurant very positively where I have been numerous times. Today the experience was decidedly subdued, the chicken korma was practically tasteless and the chicken was tough and stringy, the lamb rogan josh was good but €14 for 5 pieces of lamb seems really too much to me, the aubergine cream didn't have that typical smoky scent. In short, if I had to rely only on today's evening it would be a failure, I hope it's an accident along the way or a new chef passing by... The €3 cover charge per person seems out of place to me, in the end for 3 people: 1 starter, 2 second courses and 2 side dishes with bread and rice and 2 mango lassi (so in the end a quantity for 2 people): €91... truly excessive given the quantities of the individual courses. Instead, I congratulate you for the attention to hygiene and compliance with the rules for Covid-19: temperature control, gel, digital menu and attentive staff. See you next time, hoping for a better dining experience. Update as of 3/3/2024 Today's experience was excellent, the food was excellent and the courses were adequate for the costs required. Perfect service as always!"

"Sai has quickly become my new favorite Indian restaurant! We've tried numerous Indian places across the United Kingdom, but none have met our expectations quite like Sai. From the very first bite, the food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor! It also boasted incredibly authentic Indian aromas, even surpassing our favorite Indian restaurants back home in Canada. The service was excellent, and the decor and cleanliness were impressive. The atmosphere is fantastic, and I believe they've recently renovated their outdoor terrace. I highly recommend visiting Sai for a wonderful meal and an enjoyable experience!"

"Hi all , Firstly that was not authentic Indian place. I had most terrible experience at sky high price. The lack of quality in the dishes such as Taste , freshness and portion is not fair at all specially on name of Indian restaurant . There is big mismatch btw quality of food , the high prices disappointing food quality. I am just trying to help people to make an informed decision whether or not to give that place a visit . Highly disappointed :"

"on visiting this restaurant on Thurs Jan we arrived early (the first customers)but were shown to a table and asked if we wanted drinks , although it was early the restaurant was cold and the dÃcor was quite dull and spartan, the staff were very friendly and helpful and although there was no sharing platter on the menu one was made up for us. Now to get to the important part, this restaurant is all about the food and having travelled extensively both all over Britain and the continent this was possibly the best Indian food we have ever eaten if it was possible I would give the food stars The location is also superb being immediately opposite the Festival theatre ideal for pre theatre dinner. Our party consisted of three adults and the total cost including drinks was only which considering its location in the middle of Edinburgh was excellent. I would be happy to visit again, but if they could sort out the ambience issues and toilet I would happily have given it stars."

"the first time that I ordered from here a month ago, the food quality was good, but they forget to take drinks. they gave them back and let go. the second time I recently ordered from here, they have not only forgotten one of the articles, but the quality has completely declined. the curry wasn't as good as the first time. I will not order again unless I learn that the previous cook has returned and they commit themselves to thoroughly review their orders before they send out. the ground material."

"I organized a group trip to visit kesar with the alexandra players from charlton and we had the fabulous evening. the personal was all brilliant and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a chicken tikka masala kokosnussreis and I would say it was definitiw one of the best I ever had. my only disappointment was that I didn't have space for dessert. I will soon have to try again! recommend to everyone to consider it."

"We were a group of five at Amber. We ordered 4 chicken dishes and 1 vegetarian dish. After the food arrived, my girlfriend and I (who had ordered the same dish) noticed that we were served fish instead of chicken. When I brought this to the waiter's attention, he adamantly denied it and said that the chicken had been grilled beforehand, which may have altered the taste. When I asked him to try the chicken meat (which was translucent and did not have the texture of meat), he said he didn't need to because it was chicken. Besides the fact that it smelled strongly of fish, I found this to be unprofessional.. very disappointing. The others at my table who also ordered chicken dishes did not experience this issue, and the comparison of their dishes confirmed it. I can recommend the naan bread and the ambiance, but I will not be returning to the restaurant as I expected at least some sort of acknowledgement, especially since I returned the dish almost untouched."

"Booked as a table of 10 (work night out) we are all nurses and having a well deserved night out. Arrived to be told no booking in diary. Person who organised said she booked via Facebook and got a sharp reply “We need to confirm” she said you did and showed him the reply!! Sent to the bar whilst we waited for a table, took around 15 mins. Due to the new covid rules And one way system this meant we had to Go out and come back in when table ready. Plastic screens also on end of tables but to be honest made no difference as the diners were sitting at either side and the screen isn’t wide enough to offer any protection. Some Waiters wearing masks, but most didn’t most of had them on their chin!! Popadom and pickle tray ordered. No idea what was on the pickle tray!! No onion salad or lime pickle, the only one any of us could determine was mango chutney! We all had starters and mains, all food piping hot and no one complained about quality of food. It was all very tasty. Asked for some to be boxed up to take home. Boxes just put in middle of table. One of the group didn’t notice this and his meal was taken and disposed of. Had he had almost 2/3 left! Anywhere else I’ve been they always box for you! Even just a cheap special on ocean road they always box it for you!! Drinks ordered at the table, had to be chased up on one occasion as one drink forgotten. It’s the service that lets this place down. The food is lovely but I’ve had same quality food with better service on ocean road! And it’s cheaper!"

"I finally found an authentic Indian dining experience in Britain outside of London! The food reminded me of all the delicious meals I enjoyed in India, featuring favorites that are hard to find in Britain. The pani puri was beautifully made, the pav was fantastic, and the dhal makhani was dark, creamy, and spicy. The lamb flakes were perfectly spiced and tender. The welcome was warm and the service was friendly. Don't miss out on this gem. I hope this restaurant continues to prosper. Embark on an Indian food adventure and enjoy!"

"Randomly chose this restaurant as a change for a Sunday night takeaway and was really pleased with the food. Not easy to get an authentic madras curry these days but this one was pretty close to a proper madras. Nice to see yellow pilau rice again, not seen that for a while. Both of our curries were very tasty and the quality of the chicken was good. Pappadoms fresh and starters good. The waiter who served me was polite and friendly and the food was ready on time. Price was good bearing in mind the restaurant quality of the food. I only live a few miles away and will definitely return to eat in this restaurant soon. Can’t believe I did not know about this restaurant."

"I have chosen this place for a delivery because the vegan options on the menu were clearly marked. there was a lot of decisions, which is a nice change. I had a chana armi that was beautiful (not too oily as some places). my main was a tadka valley, which was spicy and soou tasty (not only licky, but a beautiful orange color full of taste). the cherry on the top was a vegan garlic naan omg the things of the dreams! will definitely be again next time I am very impressed in this opposite."

"Although my order was really late (more than an hour) and the guy who made the delivery was a bit cranky and he gave my order to someone else instead of me and noone paid attention to the order instructions I've left about calling me upon arrival instead of knocking on the door, the food, Paid me off. Both quality of ingredients and taste were excellent, I think it is by far, the best Indian food I've ever tasted in Manchester, trully homemade. I'm not going to get into details because if I do so, it's gonna take too long. So, long story short. I will definitely eat from this place again no doubt."

"We live local to Menai Bridge and have tried all the Indians in the area. Having not heard great things about Sopna we've avoided it to be honest. After reading a couple of decent reviews recently we thought why not give it whirl. Sorry to say but we won't be returning. The curry (dansak) to be fair was ok but everything else was very bland. The rice had no flavour of pilau in it, the mixed meat starter and Naan were poor and the chips were soggy. Not that I want to tarnish a local company as we always support them, sorry to say Sopna isn't one I would recommend. It's a shame Menai Bridge doesn't have a good Indian, in my opinion they're all very average. You need to go further afield (Bangor or Caernarfon) to get a good one."

"The prices used to be quite reasonable but they 've jumped on the bandwagon of increasing prices to an extent where it 's not actually worth paying for. It 's just mediocre portions of veg/spices/paneer yet you 're being charged as if you 're buying generously portioned meat dishes. Desserts are well overpriced too for small portions. Unfortunately we won 't be back until the prices are reduced appropriately and better portions are given. Update: Disappointed the prices have increased even further e.g £8 for a large tub of spiced veg to takeaway? In a working class part of Glasgow? Come on now! Just greed, with little regard for customers. P.s. there 's a certain member of staff, who could do with working on his manners/customer service skills and learning how to smile at the people putting money in their pocket. Rarely says hello, goodbye, please or thanks and seems like he 'd rather be anywhere else but there. Possibly a superiority complex. Either way, staff should be making an effort to make their customers feel welcome, comfortable and appreciated. Kindly sort it out please."

"Came here yesterday for lunch .It Was around 1.45ish. It was busy . We ordered two channa bhatura . We were given 2 bhatura Each. Upon eating, I found that the chick peas were very spicy. It seemed like The ground spices hadn’t been cooked into the curry properly and the spice was hurting my throat. So I called the waiter over and told him the chick pea curry was very spicey. He just said they made it medium hot. All the time He didn’t seem that bothered. I asked for Some plain saag instead. So atleast I could eat the bhatura. The saag was very pale in colour . It was ok. But too much garlic in it . The bhatura were oily . We would have preferred Puri instead . The waiters were all busy. The food Was bought out quickly I noticed . It’s not cheap to eat here. Most dishes are £7 plus. We paid £25. Just for two channa and a saag And sadly I didn’t enjoy any of it. I won’t be back . The service was slow. Had to get the Attention of the waiters when we wanted anything . They didn’t seemed bothered ."

"The website claimed to cater for Vegan diets "if you are a vegan we can cook a bespoke meal following strict vegan principles with no dairy products or, if you would like something cooked in a specific way our chefs will be happy to cater to your requirements "When asked for our order i asked the waiter what vegan the meals the chef could prepare. The waiter didn 't understand and i explained that it was a step on from vegetarian and was food prepared without any animal products, eggs, diary etc,. Initially i was told that this would be impossible as most of their food is pre prepared and cant be altered. I asked if he could ask the chef. Instead of asking the chef the waiter suggested i tried the Panner Pakora or King prawn Tikka for starters followed by Lamb Achari for mains!!!! As i was with a group i didn 't want to upset eveyone and the waiter was clearly not understanding or willing to ask the chef, i eventually asked if they could cook a vegetable biryani without gee and in vegetable oil. I have no confidence this was cooked as requested. That aside, the starters arrived within 3 mins of ordering and were clearly precooked and warmed making them dry and unpalatable. Within minutes of the starters been cleared the main courses were on the table, no time to digest the first course! Most of the party thought the main course was acceptable, but nothing to shout about and considering the service and rush through would not be back again. Probably the worst restaurant experience I 've had and with so many good places locally in Pudsey and Farsely, i wont be going back!!"

"Your staff has been very rude and they have no customer ethics. They were all hiding their faces when we needed something. No one even asked for water. Plain water should be offered on the table at all means which wasnt served. We asked for a high chair which the restaurant didnt seem to have. There was too much food color in the fish dish I ordered. The beef biryani didnt taste like biryani it tasted like coloured rice n boiled beef. The chicken korma didnt taste anything like chicken korma it was like chicken with a mixture of uncooked gravy. I dont know how u want to improve all this but I must say I had the worst experience. The next day was my birthday n I was supposed to treat my family for my birthday n this kind of food n experience. Yuk!!! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"This is not a authentic Indian restaurant. The food was terrible, service was okay, and the owner was rude to the only customers that evening (my family and me). Don't waste your time and money. They are struggling and are offering 50% off voucher codes online to make up for their high prices. The food had small portions and was bland, lacking spices and flavor typical of Indian cuisine. The curry dishes seemed reheated and not fresh. The grilled food was fresh but did not meet expectations. The owner charged nearly £20 for a mixed grill that included 1 piece of chicken, 1 kebab stick, 1 small prawn, and 4 small chicken pieces. Most Indian restaurants charge £20-£25 for a similar dish with more generous portions. The main dishes were overly sweet, as if sugar had been added to the curry. The restaurant was empty, with only four people including us, and the waiters kept coming to our table every few minutes to take orders. Starters took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, while mains came out in just 5 minutes. The house white wine was old and undrinkable, so we had to ask for it to be replaced. As the only customers that night, we expected the owner to be more polite, but he was rude. He spent most of the evening smoking in the doorway and did not engage with customers in a professional manner."
