"Amazing service ALWAYS. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Sid is a brilliant host and his staff are so friendly, efficient and just altogether nice people who make you feel most welcome. The food is so tasty, we have tried almost every dish on the menu and can only say positive things about each one. The food is very reasonable priced too. The restaurant and toilets are very clean and there is parking directly outside the front door. I read some of the negative reviews of this place before writing this and am actually considering whether they are talking about a completely different place!?? One review said the staff are unfriendly I have been visiting this place for 2 years and all we (and our family and friends) ever get welcomed with are smiles from the staff. One review said there wasn't enough parking there are many parking spaces directly in front of the premises and if you're ever unfortunate enough not to get one (which is very unlikely), there is a huge layby for parking directly next to the restaurant. Someone said the place is expensive it's actually very reasonably priced again, are they reviewing the right place?? Definitely visit if you're in the area, you will not be disappointed!"

We found the food lacking in flavour chicken very dry, sauces not much taste. The staff acted as if they didn't want to work there, all had miserable faces they made us feel we shouldn't be there we couldn't wait to leave the place. Never to return

Just had a family meal with one 18 month old toddler. I can’t begin to explain how wonderfully attentive to us all, including the toddler, all the staff were. ‘Child friendly’ really is an understatement. Diolch yn fawr iawn. The food was also excellent. View menu

We are always greeted with a warm welcome with Welsh speaking staff. Food is delicious and they go above and beyond if you have any dietary requests/alterations. Plenty of parking outside and a convenient location. Highly Recommend if you’re in the area. Roy Manon

Booked in to Sopna Tandoori for our wedding anniversary. It is situated a wee bit outside of the town of Menai Bridge and we initially drove past it. The restaurant was relatively quiet and we were shown to our table very quickly. The food was very tasty and filling, especially the vegetable balti.

This has to be the best Indian restaurant in the area. The staff are extremely friendly and provide excellent service. Sid goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Anyone who has read my reviews in the past know that I rate a newly visited Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi restaurant by their lamb bhuna. Well, the crown has well and truly been taken here. The dish was phenomenal and the who visit was first class. My wife ordered the chicken tikka saag and she too thought her dish was exceptional. The service was fast, courteous and efficient. There is nothing negative to say about Sopna. Wear your crown with pride!

My wife and I are on a 5-day break and staying just a 5-minute drive from this restaurant. We were recommended to try it by the owner of the guest house we are staying at, Steve from Maen Hir. We visited around 6:30pm and the owner made us feel very welcome. The food was freshly prepared and one of the best meals I have ever had. I definitely recommend visiting this place. If we ever return to Menai Bridge, we will definitely come back for another meal. Top-notch quality. 10/10.
