"You have to love this place, if only for the sheer mountain of food you get for your money. It's a monstrous (and delicious) bowl of spaghetti, covered in a well stewed bolognese sauce. The only issue is that there's very limited space about three seats so if you don't have a desk near by, you might struggle to eat."

"As big fans of Tapas we decided to try Cubana's whislt visiting Sheffield for a weekend break. The restaurant is well set out if not a little to overcrowed with tables, certainly utilising maximum floor space which as understandable as that is from a business perspective it takes away from that personal space that diners/couples look for when dining out. The deor is warm and welcoming but could do with more overhead lighting as it was quite dark where we were seated. Myself and fiance' ordered 8 different Tapas dishes and a side of sourdough. The food was good, the dishes came out quick and hot and were tasty. Very little table room due to the overcrowded nature and amount of tables within the restaurant which was a little off putting. Our overall experience would have been rated marginally higher based on the food alone as it was above average, however as a dining experience as a whole it fell well short of what we would class as nice evning out. The whole experience was totally let down with the two young barmen situated about 10ft from where we were seated, who were constantly laughing very loudly, throwing things at each other from across the bar. Massively offputting for ourselves and the two diners next to us who also commented on the situation. To add to this already annoying distraction the background music was excessivley loud to the point we struggled to have a conversation. So 8 Tapas dishes, one cocktail and one glass of wine came to £77.86p, for what it is and the poor atmoshere along with mornic barstaff this is exspensive. We reglaury eat at Iberico in Nottingham and this would have been a bit cheaper, much better food and a much nicer atmosphere to dine in. This place has potential but the management/owner/owners really need to manage and control the imaturity in some of the staff members and make some alterations in what establishment they are trying to aim for... is it a restaurant where people can come and dine and enjoy there time or is it a nightclub that packs people in and serves food at the same time?"

"This restaurant near the theaters is a good option. The restaurant has a spacious interior with plenty of seating available. I decided to try their combo meal for an early dinner and it did not disappoint."

"Great wee place, is more like a cafe than a bistro. Tried the tomato, garlic and black bean soup was nice, not sure where the garlic was though. The Orkney cheddar quiche, was also nice and had a lovely salad with it. The cherry bakewell and custard was very nice, though it was a tiny pot of custard that accompanied it. Coffee okay, but a little bitter. Nice little find and would visit again, you do need to book during peak hours though."

"We had a lovely afternoon tea which served in the quiet room. I loved the little bowl of soup and the beautiful presentation of the dishes. Very nice cake selection and we had our first taste of edible flowers. The scones would be my least favourite part as think I would have expected different' scones from the usual there and they were rather dry. Also one jar of jam and cream were a bit small portion for the four scones however the black currant jam was delicious."

"We’ve been to Queensway a number of times and although it seems an untidy pub and a little tired, the food has always been good. Unfortunately, tonight the food was not very good. We were a family party of 9. We were told we could order a Christmas dinner on arrival but it was not available. We were told there was no gammon so not a full mixed grill which was my husbands choice and the gammon meal off for the same reason. There was no coleslaw, no lettuce and no cucumber. This seems totally disorganised given the time of year and a full pub. The meals were not great! My 12oz steak was dry (my husband cooks much better steak at home) and very tough and a small portion of chips accompanied it even though the menu said a larger portion. My sister in law s steak looked very dry too. I’m afraid our next family get together won’t be at this pub. I booked the meal and feel responsible for the family’s disappointment!"

"I was excited to visit this restaurant, as I had a great experience at the Covent Garden location a few years ago. However, I was taken aback by the £100 set menu on a Friday night, as I had assumed we would have options from the a la carte menu. The waitress was accommodating, but we decided to go for the £100 menu thinking we would get something special. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food and found it underwhelming. The bream starter was delicious, as was the monkfish, but overall we felt the meal was overpriced for a Friday evening. The ambiance was lovely and our waitress provided attentive service. Perhaps the restaurant offers better value during the week or for lunch."

"My husband and I, along with our three children (ages 12, 8, and 6), stayed at this restaurant for 4 nights while visiting family nearby. We had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious with beautiful views, a great shower, and very clean. The atmosphere was friendly and laid-back, and they catered well to both the children and my vegan husband. All the staff were helpful and welcoming. The restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station, shops, and a playground. We will definitely stay here again."

My boyfriend linguine pasta with garlic sauce and Parmesan in the meal deal (garlic bread plus drink) Me gluten free penne, carbonara sauce and Parmesan cheese in the meal deal (garlic bread plus drink) my sister small pizza with fruit shoot and friesOverall, the food was delicious and tasted very authentic but if you are not used to eating garlic the garlic sauce can be much as it is strong (which my boyfriend liked). The staff were very welcoming and helped us with any issues or queries that we had. This restaurant is one of the better ones in Swansea and I would definitely recommend!"

"favourite place in Aberdeen. From coffee to their food, you have the best quality for it all. Fully vegan and just top quality. Cannot recommend enough. My favourite is their focaccia sandwiches, I could eat 10 of them and not get enough. Their pancakes are also heavenly and their cinnamon buns could cause fights over the last one. 20/10 always"

"when it comes to healthy food, I usually stay away from it, as I find healthy food very embarrassing, but this place is something else. not only eating is healthy, it is also very tasty. my lambbone was very delicate cooked to perfection, the deco is very nice, the restaurant has it own private parking, very clean throughout and the restaurant also has its private sitting area ideal for family celebrations. I would definitely recommend this place. keep it on young."

"Tonight my husband and I decided to try the Mix It Up Meals, and we were not disappointed. Hubby had a delicious 28 day matured rump steak, cooked to perfection he said!! He chose the fries and the fresh garden salad, which he said was really lovely, and was served with a vinaigrette dressing. I had the gammon, and was really surprised to be given 3 gammon steaks, 2 of which I brought home with me for Hubby's breakfast!! I had the Mexican Pasta Salad, which was spiced to perfection I would order this as a main course next time we come for lunch. The sweet potato fries were delicious, and a huge portion!! Needless to say, we changed our mind about ordering dessert this evening, as the Mix It Up Meals were huge, and very filling!! All the staff at Hungry Horse go the extra mile, and all are extremely friendly and courteous!! We will be visiting again very soon!! Mrs Dee Cunningham Parking: Whenever we have visited, there has always been plenty of parking available!!"

"I have been a fan of Andre's for 25 years, I don't live in Portsmouth but visit Andres whenever I'm in southsea. Sadly the last 2 times have been disappointing, I always get a seafood baguette with extra onion and seafood sauce, last time my partner brought it home for me I complained there was no extra seafood sauce.... he insisted he asked and figured perhaps they forgot and we left it at that. He went and got me one on Monday (2 days ago) Brought it home and same thing, was actually dry and hard to see any seafood sauce never mind any extra, same goes for the onion there was barely any. The size of the baguette also bears mentioning as they have become much slimmer than they were, it's almost comical how skinny they are and considering its £5.30 I don't feel that it is value for money or worth the money. I appreciate everyone's feeling the pinch but don't like being ripped off and sadly that's what I feel. Saying that I still gave 4 stars as don't want to spoil they're rating over constructive criticism."

"Islington is not lacking in great restaurants and cafes, with Angel being a hotspot for the yummy-mummy/single young person crowd. The area is a mix of middle-class cultures, leading to the emergence of many boutique eateries in recent years. Vivo is a modern addition to the Angel food scene, with a simple interior design, glass frontage, and a 14ft long counter displaying all the food options. The restaurant does not have a menu, which encourages diners to explore and try different dishes. Brothers and co-owners Ben and Will introduce customers to the concept, inspired by their visits to Italy. The food is fresh, flavorful, and varied, providing a taste of Italy on the terrace. The non-alcoholic cocktails are also a hit, with unique and refreshing combinations. The beef lasagne, salads, and other dishes are all delicious, with standout flavors and textures. The endive, pomegranate, and fresh mozzarella salad is a must-try, offering a perfect balance of flavors. While the Caesar salad may not be for everyone, the overall dining experience at Vivo is enjoyable and satisfying."

"I ordered the Savoury Mixed Platter today for my sons 17th birthday (23/2/21) for four of us, as all stuck indoors due to ‘lockdown’.It was lovely so much better than I could have expected. Lots of it, great selection of sandwiches, savoury bites, sausages rolls and bhajis etc. All good quality ingredients and fresh. Melody delivered it supplied plates napkins at no extra cost.I asked for no tomatoes and that was not a problem.Reliable and fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend and order from her again."
