"Islington is not lacking in great restaurants and cafes, with Angel being a hotspot for the yummy-mummy/single young person crowd. The area is a mix of middle-class cultures, leading to the emergence of many boutique eateries in recent years. Vivo is a modern addition to the Angel food scene, with a simple interior design, glass frontage, and a 14ft long counter displaying all the food options. The restaurant does not have a menu, which encourages diners to explore and try different dishes. Brothers and co-owners Ben and Will introduce customers to the concept, inspired by their visits to Italy. The food is fresh, flavorful, and varied, providing a taste of Italy on the terrace. The non-alcoholic cocktails are also a hit, with unique and refreshing combinations. The beef lasagne, salads, and other dishes are all delicious, with standout flavors and textures. The endive, pomegranate, and fresh mozzarella salad is a must-try, offering a perfect balance of flavors. While the Caesar salad may not be for everyone, the overall dining experience at Vivo is enjoyable and satisfying."

great eating, I love the creamy sauce given with the burger meal, as it adds the chips very well. Nice to sit on the terrace when the weather is sunny. good prices, but also not super cheap.

Fresh lettuce, arugula, and radicchio were tossed with tender, roasted pumpkin, a perfect portion of creamy buffalo ricotta, big walnut pieces, and topped off with a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Everyone knows that dessert is the best ice-breaker. First of all, you're supposed to share. So... hello spoon action ; Secondly, let's be real if you're talking about chocolate and cream, you're already flirting. Right, now all you need is a location.

Went to Vivo for lunch! The decor is contemporary modern and very relaxing. The service was great! I ordered a pesto pasta salad and a slice of margarita pizza. Both were good. Only issue was the cost. The salad and pizza cost me £9! I have been to places with better more quantity for cheaper prices.

came for the breakfast at ten on Saturday morning. a lot of space in terms of seating: outside, inside or on the roof terrace. I had the full English and my friend the eier benedict. the food was delicious, but my coffee could have been hotter than I asked for extra hot. want to return to the evening drink.

Love this place! Great atmosphere, very chic interior. But best of all, the best pizza marinara I've ever had (including all those scoffed throughout my travels in Italy . Calamari was delicious, too. We stayed for the night drinking cocktails (get the William's Wish delicious! . I'll be back again and again!

vivo had organized a wonderful selection of Italian food and displayed 14 meter counter in its covered glass. the eating display began with calzone pizzas, then came the black suppening boilers, followed by the anti pasti articles, salads, cakes and then finally the wee. all foods looked fresh and of high quality.

This restaurant is similar to Princi in Soho but slightly smaller in size and less crowded. The layout of the food is better here. I ordered the melanzane parmigiana which was delicious, while my boyfriend had the lasagna. I also tried the cannoli but was a bit disappointed as it tasted more like cream cheese than ricotta cheese. I would love to visit the rooftop garden in the summer!
