"beautiful place right at the lord street, southport. lunch menu, good choice. also good for afternoon tea. all cheap. very helpful and friendly staff. with the warmer weather on the way, the exterior are an obvious attraction, especially sitting as a sunfall looks! if you want to add a tipp for the provided beautiful service, it must be in cash, as their payment machine cannot add tips. we were unhappy about it today. we will remember the next time that we will go soon!"

"I've been eating a couple of lunches today and bought a fresh scrap sandwich and a drink. the choice here is just great and the sandwich was prepared for me while I waited. it was absolutely delicious! here is a fantastic selection of freshly prepared meals. relish also has a seating area and located directly on the road, I don't need an excuse to dive back soon! fantastic. I could resist the fresh cream cake this time, but I don't think I would do it again, it looked amazing! thank you all."

"Hey, listen. We see this all over the place but. It 's wrong. We were out with friends last night. Even bumped into bloody Spurs supporters: That 's how much fun it was. The evening revolved round live music.......always good right? We ordered a meal. My wife is Coeliac so needs a Gluten free diet. Look.....a dietary need.......not just a life style choice, like some. The menu said....something like....fish stew with ciabata bread. As you can tell, I can 't spell Ciabatta . That was offered with a gluten free option, so the appropriate request was ordered. All the orders were made, only to find that, at the end, the gluten free option, was that you had no bread at all. Come on guys. Any visit to your nearest supermarket will help you out. Your option was pathetic and just not acceptable. Try to pick up in your kitchen. You should be better than this. The rest of the evening was great."

"Throughout most of January (2018) I frequented Grace and Favor for all the right reasons: it is a wonderful, cozy place to either enjoy a coffee with a friend, read a paper or to have something delicious to eat. The staff are genuine, friendly people and the food, coffee and desserts are consistently VERY good. Earned compliments. PS: They have limited seating outside (under an awning) and they supply a limited amount of newspapers for their patrons to enjoy a nice touch."

"there was a time that the lunch consisted of a piece and jam packed in a sunblest bag, a package of smiths salt n shakes and a bottle of tea or a glass bottle ingwer. today's workers have a much wider choice for lunch food. besides all chain-fast food offerings there is this place, various shops that offer a “Meal Deal” and even sushi or a burrito. No, that's lunch whatever you like."

"On a recommendation, visited today, Tuesday to try the famous KFCeasar sandwich. Went for a seeded roll with sriracha Mayo. The chicken was cooked fresh to order while I waited listening to some serious tunes. What was presented was a joy. You can see what I mean below. Starting at one end, the roll is just the right level of bite to maintain structural integrity without require the jaw muscles of a crocodile. The chicken is succulent and tender, the coating crisp and flavourful. The sriracha provides the right kick and the salad is just sufficient. Altogether a mighty sandwich, worthy of its reputation."

"was totally impressed in a group of seven for a Sunday dinner. service was excellent, with drinks coming immediately, order quickly taken, and eating arrived quickly. Between us we had only roasts (3 x bark, 2 x huh and 2 x nuts), so can not comment on much else, but eating was great. huge portions of the main, a hauch of delicious veg (with an additional tastiness of some wee pickled tweepers,) perfectly crispy roast whips, and of course a yorkshire pudding! puddings were also great. I enjoyed the lemon tart and had massive apples and brombeer jealous. the selection of beer on the tap is excellent and well maintained, and a more than sufficient weinlist to match any taste. would certainly recommend. many thanks to all for a nice time"

"Been here many times and always have a great experience. The menu is interesting. There are a few alternatives apart from the “boring poached eggs with different seasoning”. The price is good a little bit lower than other same kind of cafe. The service is good too always friendly and attentive. Highly recommended."

"We had booked a table for and were seated downstairs, we placed an order for drinks and the waitress was gone as soon as we had said which bottle of wine, with no option to order anything else (like water). After the wine was...brought to the table we waited for someone to take our food order, no one came to take the food order until (after being called over). They were very apologetic and comped the wine, but the experience was kind of ruined at that point. The starters and main courses were delicious, as were the cocktails. The deserts were not great, dishes which are normally very enjoyable with odd ingredients added, to make them more unique, but which just made them unpleasant. This was a very different experience to any I’ve had here before."

"Ok I cannot complain about the coffee itself choice of espressos and served hot along with water perfect. But slow service few places to sit and then only cakes on offer. What happened to all the food options that made this place special. No melted cheese sandwiches for starters! his is what made Cairngorm stand out and a destination for coffee... now I may go if I need a fix and I am in the close vicinity optherwise I'll look elsewhere. Shame. As said in other reviews I do wonder if this is COVID enforced changes but almost every place I have been recently is severely lacking. We all understand the pressures but paying the same price for 50% of the service/product doesn't make anyone feel good."

"Website states open at 12, but arrived at 12:40 to a locked door. I called and was advised the website is wrong. Lovely setting and quite welcoming. There was just the one chap waiting our table of 4. He was most courteous and brought food as soon as the ready bell rang. It got busier and the waiter was very much rushed off his feet... but always smiled and ensured he dealt with our request Later a second waiter joined him and took some of the pressure off. We ordered several plates to share and the food was of a pretty good standard. All the dishes were fresh, brightly coloured and had their own taste as expected for each dish. The calamari was thick and had a great breadcrumb batter, which was my favourite. The platters were great value with various textures tantalising my taste buds. It was very much appealing to look at and the taste did not disappoint. There was: not enough bread for the dips, so we kept requesting more. Not sure if it was drizzled in olive oil but it was delicious. The only negative was the tiny tables. By the time our drinks were served we wondered where all the plates would go!? The food arrived in around 3 minute intervals.. Fortunately, we were able to have an empty table join our 2, so we could spread out a bit. One table is enough for 1 person, definitely not 2 sharing, this was an annoying factor. There was gentle music in the background and we were able to converse as was our reason for our gathering. Overall it was a very pleasant afternoon and I certainly would go again. Thank you ????"

"The story of chef patron James Close at Raby Hunt is a remarkable one, though veteran chefs with Michelin issues might wish to look away now. Three years ago, James was searching for a new career, having till then been involved in the world of professional golf. When a local Inn came up for sale, the Close family decided to buy it and, passionate about food but a novice to professional cooking, James manned the stove in the kitchen, where he was taught to cook bistro dishes by his mum, a former hotelier. His dad meanwhile ran the front of house in what was now a full and proper restaurant, with them somewhat bravely having decided not to go down the gastro-pub route. More recently, the...read more"

"Visited Lazix for an affogato and hot chocolate on my 20th birthday, and was somewhat disappointed! Had visibly been sitting for a while as the ice cream had entirely melted, and the hot chocolate was lukewarm. Nonetheless, the quality of the coffee, decor and service were all of a great standard. Such a shame that my first experience of Lazix was so ‘average’."

"was over and jammed to see if they could squeeze us in! a table was available. we were at 12 o'clock and were great to be so welcome. the owner brought us to our well placed seat near the open kitchen. charlie has taken our drink order. then we searched the well set menu. a series of delicious sounding diners. two vegetarian options, so we decided for them plus a burger and a roast beef. the price is on the more expensive side, but the quality of the ingredients and the generous part soon made them appreciate why! a very nice chef elvis (big guy) takes care of the food served. we all loved our head. Unfortunately, the desert menu was also very tempting, so that also three of them ordered. our daughter has ever said the best brownie! so all in a great experience. we'll be back soon."

"So insanely disappointed. Been following their insta for over an year and it looked amazing. Finally decided to travel 58 mins there with my partner to treat ourselves. We arrived and the staff told us to sit down without giving us menu, so we had to go up and get one. Then the food was just awful: Mac n cheese: 2/10. completely bland and tasteless. No flavour and was only made better with a heinz ketchup sachet I had in my bag. My partner took one bit and refused to eat more. I didn 't enjoy eating it at all but didn 't want to waste it because the bowl was £6.50!! Double or nothing burger: 3/10. The beef burger tasted and felt weird. Was more like a mush than a burger. Again had little taste and the whole thing fell apart immediately. Destructor chicken burger: 6/10. The only good thing we had and even this was mediocre. Meant to be their best selling burger. The seiten burger was nice but nothing special and the BBQ overpowered everything. Felt sick after everything, and still feel rubbish after 2 hours There were wayyy too many members of staff and they were all sat down most of the time. Honestly felt really upset when I left. We made such a big journey and effort and I was really looking forward to it but it was awful. Felt bad bringing my partner all this way. Will never come back here again. Next time I want a burger, I 'll go to honest burger or even Wetherspoons, both 100x better."

"This is a fantastic local business that hits all the right spots; they actively collaborate with other businesses in the area, the staff are friendly, it's progressive, and has a great selection of regional products. The food is tasty and the coffee is good. The only downside is the closing time feels a bit early, though it is a lunchtime venue, and sometimes they scarcely stocked of its been a busy day but less waste, right?? Definitely recommend if you find yourself out in West Didsbury or a patient or family from one of the nearby hospitals."

"Really wanted this to be a good experience but unfortunately the service was terrible. First of all we were sat down for 20 mins without being offered a drink or given menus. When the starters arrived my main was brought to the table instead of my starter, my partners was correct. When my starter was brought I was told my main was sitting ready for me as soon as I had finished, I told the staff that I would really be looking to rush so I wouldn’t like that. When my main came it was the one that was brought originally, very cold! I sent I back and by the time I received my new hot main my partner had finished. I also ordered drinks which didn’t appear. The food itself was good but completely ruined by the other complications. As I said, really wanted to enjoy my experience but it wasn’t to be unfortunately"

"This place must be one of the hidden gems of Wantage. This is one of the best full English breakfast we have ever had, everything tasted so delicious: homemade hashbrowns, eggs like the morning sun, crispy bacon, fried Mushrooms. Absolutely delicuous toast with grilled salmon.. smashed avocado. Great coffe and green tea (especially japanese tea). The owners always very friendly and made to feel very welcome suitable for everyone."

"I and my partner showed up here on Saturday, a beautiful little place with a great menu in the offer and excellent service. we had a traditional breakfast, it took no more than 10 minutes to get out for eating, eating was hot and fresh, all eating was of excellent quality and there was a lot of it, paid about £7 each and that included coffee tee and toast. the food was high-quality. will be visited again!"

"We stayed in Clitheroe August 2021 and visited here twice in 4 days. First we had the vegan breakfast which was phenomenal then we had lunch. I had the special which was baked potato skins with sheeze and facon. Hubby had the falafel sandwich. We had a portion of potato salad to share and then I had to try the lemon drizzle cake (you’ve gotta get your vegan desserts while you can right?? . Suffice to say it was all really tasty and I didn’t need to eat until very late on in the day! Defo need to visit if you’re out this way. We will be back!"
