A savory sandwich with tender, spiced pastrami slices, served on fresh rye bread with mustard and pickles.

"Interestingly eclectic space which combines a small Neighborhood market, butcher shop, a wine store, and a deli with an extensive hot food bar fullOf yummy southern comfort foods, delicious broad spectrum of made to order sandwiches including a Cuban and Banh Mi. They also have a friendly, helpful staff. We had Banh Mi (not exactly like I have had before, but very tasty) served with some yummy chips and we topped it off with a slice of Italian cake which was a genuine slice of heaven. There are plenty of tables available and real cutlery so you don’t have to fumble w/plastic junk. Worth the quick trip From downtown."

"we had lunch here on Sunday 22 May 2022. it was an unpromptu decision for us, and we were very happy to get a table thanks to the waitress who tried to find out where she could push us in before she needed the table back. we had a suppe and sandwich combo sweet potato, fry garlic and thymian suppe, with the pastrami sandwich. really delicious. the only disappointment was to learn that they did not eat in the evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening, except Friday when we are gone home"

"My partner and I are both vegan and wanted to support a complete vegan business. The shop is small but is bright and clean. We were informed that there was a new menu which was a bonus for us as we liked to see new and fresh menu ideas. My partner decided to order a tofu based meal with rice (which we was told later it was jasmine rice) and that meal was delicious, I tried it too and it was full of flavour especially the rice. The salad was also nice. I however ordered a tofu tower burger. The side salad was the same as the salad on the burger so that for me was too much of the same thing on 1 plate, the burger had 4 pieces of small tofu cubes on it and that doesn’t exactly identify as a “tower” burger to me. It wasn’t horrible but it was more like a mix of bread , salad and a few tofu cubes. The cubes also make the top of the bread cake come off when eating it. It wasnt quite the experience I thought I may have. 2 meals that were completely different in quality and eating experience, strange. But…. I would try here again as I would like to try other dishes perhaps. We also had take away cakes which were ok but not leaving me wanting more. It’s left me a little confused if the over all experience was good or not but I think it would be fair if I tried again. I would also like it if the staff wouldn’t talk next to us about other people and what they get up to on Facebook."

"The food at this restaurant is extremely tasty. Being married to a Texan, I've had my fair share of BBQ and I can confidently say that the brisket and pastrami here are exceptional. However, the portions are small and the prices are a bit on the expensive side. The seating may not be the most comfortable, but the service is friendly."

"I really enjoyed my lunch here. The quality of food was great and merited the price point. I paid £12.75 for a large latte, a fruit scone with cream and jam and a savoury croissant. It was busy upon arrival but we were seated quickly although you have to order before you could take a seat. Staff were friendly and drinks arrived quickly. The scone was delicious although the fruit scone was mostly blueberries and not currants etc. but it was still great. The cream was light and fluffy with yummy jam. My Brie and cranberry croissant was very pleasant. The decor was light and airy with plenty of space between the tables. The reason this review is not a 5 is because the latte was in a glass and not a mug. The glass made it hard to drink at first because it was hot. The size of the latte also didn’t feel very large. It seemed like a regular sized latte to me but I suppose sizing is subjective from cafe to cafe. All in all, I would highly recommend this cafe."

"Think should have closed if entertaining friends as they didn’t seem to give a monkey’s uncle about their customers. Arrived at cafe at just after 11 and sat outside. Given a lunch menu. No-one came outside for 15 minutes but the place was empty bar two tables and a few rowdy women sitting at a bar table. I went inside to ask for the brunch menu but told only served until 11:30?! Ordered food and drinks. It was ok but expected vine tomatoes to be roasted and not cherry tomatoes cut in two and warmed. The avocado was not seasoned and bland. Sourdough was not toasted enough so was soggy. Egg was missing. Pancakes had no flavour and small but blueberry sauce was good. Coffee very good. Had to go back inside to pay as owner was too busy entertaining her friends to notice anyone. Poor experience and not value for money. Much better places, more centrally located to eat."

"Great place to visit. Very kid friendly. Makes for the perfect spot to go for a drink break, lunch or a breastfeeding stop with baby (sofas are a godsend)! Good variety of drinks, lovely hot chocolate! Food is always delicious. Customer service is always great. And it is probably the nicest decor I've ever seen in an eating establishment. So quirky! It's my favourite place to go in town."

"I visited this restaurant multiple mornings in a row while in Plymouth, after my morning swim near Devil's Point. The staff were extremely friendly and the snacks and treats were delightful (the mini Portuguese tarts and the mushroom tomato bagel were especially delicious). The coffee was excellent and the best I've had in Plymouth, although I must mention that Rhubarb Mustard on Millbay Road was also fantastic."

"Booked a table on short notice at 5pm they had availability at 7pm was nice to be informed on the phone what dishes weren't available. Got to the restaurant on time orderd starters and mains which were nice, went to the bar at 8.10 to order desserts but unfortunately was informed the kitchen was closed would have been nice to be informed this at time of booking or when ordering the food at the bar as we would have preferred mains and desserts rather than starters and mains, was our second visit unlikely to drive out that way to go back."

"Ok I cannot complain about the coffee itself choice of espressos and served hot along with water perfect. But slow service few places to sit and then only cakes on offer. What happened to all the food options that made this place special. No melted cheese sandwiches for starters! his is what made Cairngorm stand out and a destination for coffee... now I may go if I need a fix and I am in the close vicinity optherwise I'll look elsewhere. Shame. As said in other reviews I do wonder if this is COVID enforced changes but almost every place I have been recently is severely lacking. We all understand the pressures but paying the same price for 50% of the service/product doesn't make anyone feel good."

"Been here many times and always have a great experience. The menu is interesting. There are a few alternatives apart from the “boring poached eggs with different seasoning”. The price is good a little bit lower than other same kind of cafe. The service is good too always friendly and attentive. Highly recommended."

"Delicious food. Glad to have discovered this little gem. Would recommend trying the bubble and squeak with mushrooms, soooo tasty. The breakfast bun was really good as well. Good generous portions. Kudos to the chef. Staff are lovely and super friendly. Flat white was very good, better than a lot of other coffee shops. Would highly recommend!"

"My wife and I enjoyed lunch at this wonderful place today. It is a great spot with plenty of parking, a friendly and professional staff, and a classic English pub atmosphere. The food was amazing, with a variety of interesting specials, and they were able to accommodate my wife's dietary needs. Unfortunately, we had a mishap where the pepper dispenser spilled all over my wife's meal. The staff handled the situation exceptionally well, offering a sincere apology and quickly replacing the meal with a brand new dish within 5 minutes. We were very pleased with the level of service, especially in a challenging situation. Overall, we highly recommend The Cherry Tree for a fantastic dining experience."

"What a wonderful discovery! A few friends and I decided to meet for a catch-up and some food, and this place proved to be the perfect central spot. I was truly impressed by how charming it was. I ordered an iced americano, which had a wonderfully rich flavor, and the full English breakfast, made with such high-quality ingredients that I was amazed at how reasonably priced it was! It included two sausages, two eggs, two thick slices of bacon, garlic mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, and a generous slice of thick, nice bread for toast. My friends had the veggie breakfast, and they raved about the falafel, and one enjoyed a delicious-looking bagel, while another chose a plate of pancakes topped with an enticing array of cream and fruit. There's also a lovely hidden garden out back, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and fun. I’ll definitely be returning soon and highly recommend you give it a try—it’s far better than any chain coffee shop or café!"

"My wife loved her sandwich, although she mentioned that it would have been easier to eat with a plate and cutlery due to the generous amount of filling - half of which ended up in the bag after she finished the sandwich. She suggested that a smaller size option would be a good idea, as the portion was quite large and could easily serve two people without skimping. The "pig in duvet," on the other hand, was a more modest size but packed with delicious flavors. It set a new standard for sausage rolls with its smoked bacon, tasty sausage meat, perfect spice level, and flaky yet stable pastry. The only improvement would be serving it warm. I was not a fan of the brownies, possibly because they were gluten-free. This was a bit disappointing after the amazing sausage roll. However, I will definitely be returning to try their coffee and stick to the savory options, as they were a hit."

"We had booked a table for and were seated downstairs, we placed an order for drinks and the waitress was gone as soon as we had said which bottle of wine, with no option to order anything else (like water). After the wine was...brought to the table we waited for someone to take our food order, no one came to take the food order until (after being called over). They were very apologetic and comped the wine, but the experience was kind of ruined at that point. The starters and main courses were delicious, as were the cocktails. The deserts were not great, dishes which are normally very enjoyable with odd ingredients added, to make them more unique, but which just made them unpleasant. This was a very different experience to any I’ve had here before."

"I visited this restaurant today because it was close to a small animal hospital. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the waitress seemed to be in a bad mood and was rather unfriendly. I inquired about the restaurant being dog-friendly, as I had seen on Google that it was, but unfortunately, that was my mistake as the review specified that it was only dog-friendly outside. We opted to sit outside. The waitress either didn't appreciate my question or was unhappy that I couldn't see a sign indicating this policy. Despite her demeanor, everything else about the experience was enjoyable. I decided to forgo leaving a tip for her."

"I pass this place which is attached to Central Station several times a week: it never seems full and appears clean, unlike Costa, which is filthy, and the other station cafes offering seating, which are always full so I gave it a try ahead of a long train journey, starting in an hour. My mistake. The bill board outside boasted a good breakfast deal of a roll(unspecified filling) and coffee for around £2.50. Inside, there was one woman ahead of me, who messed about explaining her need to have a toodler 's bottle heated and asking for detailed analysis of the herbal teas. She grabbed her toddler who was running around screaming, and called another child to the counter and began asking them what they wanted! when I came to place my order, the young woman behind the counter explained the breakfast offer had expired: I asked her when and she said at 11am; I checked my watch and it was three minutes past! I ordered a bacon and egg toastie with black coffee and sat in the area up a few steps from the main cafe. 15 minutes later, I returned to the counter to tell them I was still waiting and before I could finish what I was saying, the older of the two waitresses said yes, it 's coming! It took another five minutes however, and when she brought it I reminded her of the toastie she said yes, sorry for the wait. It was almost half an hour before it came, and it was a sandwich, NOT a toastie! It really wasn 't that busy, and in the time I was there I saw that everyone had to wait ages for their food and drink to arrive. The food was below average, the service appalling and the layout upstairs a mess: a worker from the kitchen had to manoeuvre his trolley round tables and chairs to get to and from the lift. Such a good location, this place could be a real treat and a refreshing change from the chains, but it 's awful and a lost opportunity."

"what a great tasty bite. from the moment we came to the moment we went, enjoyed every minute. sitting at the kitchen table and being able to speak with james and all its amazing chefs have just added the experience. everyone was relaxed, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and eating has made us look in texture, taste, servier suggestion and absolute love to blow away detail, but I think that is why they have 2 michelin stars! although all the portions are small after 15 curses they are full and I can not believe that some of the preparation starts 2 or 3 days before they arrive. the breakfast was also amazing. I don't know how to taste simple food as well. james them and their team are ultimate perfectionist, artist and master of eating."

"We were recommended to eat here during our visit to Ireland. The restaurant is wonderful, with a warm, old worldly atmosphere. Every staff member was warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was just delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was just the best we've had, ever!"
