"Low key lighting and small b&w tiled floor in this little gem of a place. Check out the ceiling; looks like tiles but is unusually tinplate painted. Used to be part of the hotel I believe in bygone days. The TV on all the time for pop music isn't particularly to my taste. The staff members are lovely people, the food isn't dear and you are so handy for your next train it couldn't be better. I am sure many people are totally unaware of its existence as it sits in the exit tunnel from the station to the left as you come from the main concourse platforms. Good for cheap eats and tasty soup. Toasted tuna panini, soup and pot of tea around 6 pounds. Suits from senior citizens (like me! to groups of young girls out from the office for lunch.Try it! (wheel chair access ok, but not open weekends or late."

Just had coffee a couple of times on a visit to Glasgow. Better than the chain type coffee shops. Good quality coffee and nice service.

We wanted a quick lunch so had soup and my husband also had a toastie. The soup was average and the ham and coleslaw toastie was extremely disappointing.

Attended a social function in here and it was fab! Great themed decor, service was excellent and the choice of food was fantastic with really good prices, very impressed

We were looking for a good breakfast and decent coffee and found both at Deli Central (in Glasgow central train station). We were staying just down the road at the Artto Hotel and whilst we enjoyed our stay there, didn't fancy their breakfast choices (or their prices).

Stopped here for the full breakfast and at £5.95 thought good value for money. It was ok, not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel they call up to the hotel and the breakfast is sent down. Was a bit on lukewarm and not freshly cooked but was edible, however the coffee is a hit and a miss.

Stopped here for breakfast before getting the train to England.Good quality food although would be nice to get toast included with breakfast, i also thought there was a bit too much haggis on the plate!Good grub though, not that expensive and it wasn't too busy so a nice relaxed atmosphere before travelling.

Deli Central could do well with its location alone(central station hope street entrance)but it also offers great value , good food in a clean environment with friendly staff. You can get a hot morning roll and large pot of tea for £2.50. At lunch time there are loads of specials but soup and a sandwich at £3.50 is a winner. At lunch time it can get busy, but so does everywhere else in the city centre! Give it a try.

This was a first visit to Glasgow and leaving Central Station came across Deli Central adjacent to an exit ramp. Having been on a train for a couple of hours a coffee was certainly needed and the filter coffee at £1.80 in a large cup was excellent value. Went back a couple of hours later at lunch time and the special Soup Paninin at £4.95. Overall, good value and pleasant staff. Just one little niggle please clear used plates/crockery etc from empty tables.
