"I visited this restaurant multiple mornings in a row while in Plymouth, after my morning swim near Devil's Point. The staff were extremely friendly and the snacks and treats were delightful (the mini Portuguese tarts and the mushroom tomato bagel were especially delicious). The coffee was excellent and the best I've had in Plymouth, although I must mention that Rhubarb Mustard on Millbay Road was also fantastic."

Wonderful coffee, chai and bagels. Worked as a great morning stop off starter for the days during our visit to Plymouth. Quality is king.

Pretty good! I always get the vegan bagel and it would be amazing if there were more vegan options. The bagel also might taste even better if toasted

The coffee at this restaurant is excellent and the bagels are truly amazing! They were so delicious that we ordered two and shared them. The little tarts were also super fresh and tasty. View menu

I initially thought it was on the pricey side but you do get what you pay for. The halloumi bagel I had was delicious and very generously filled. The coffee is very nice too. This was the first and won't be the last time I come here.

I love this place! It’s such a friendly cafe, we regularly visit this place for coffee and sometimes breakfast before work. We have got to know the staff and it’s always great when they recognise you and remember your name! It’s simple but I really...

Lovely cappuccinos and location. The bread at the weekend looked fantastic. We tried to get some midweek, but they don't do it then. They seemed to do a much bigger range of cakes and pastries at the weekend too. Always seemed busy with locals which is a good sign. View menu

What a lovely cafe! Great location, delicious coffee and the bagels are out of this world!!! Made freshly on the premises and served with a great choice of yummy toppings. The salt beef was exceptional and the cakes looked mouth watering too. If we lived closer we’d be definite regulars!!!!

We went to the restaurant for breakfast on a Saturday. It was very crowded, but our order was taken quickly. Our drinks arrived promptly, but there was a significant delay before our bagels were served. They were definitely worth the wait, however we would have preferred if our entire order had arrived together so we could fully enjoy our meal.

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
