"We stumbled upon this restaurant while on holiday in the area, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. The place was bustling with locals, yet we were seated promptly and made to feel very welcome by everyone. There was an impressive selection of drinks, particularly guest ales, which my husband appreciated. The food was outstanding—high quality, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. Plus, the pub is exceptionally dog-friendly; our dog, Kirby, was showered with treats and affection from both the staff and other patrons. The only downside is that this pub isn't closer to our home in Sherborne, Dorset—if it were, we would definitely become regulars. I highly recommend it!"

"My partner and I visited this cafe during a weekend trip to London. We were drawn in by the enticing smells emanating from the kitchen as we strolled around the city. Although we arrived near closing time, we couldn't resist taking home a couple of desserts from their display. We chose the blueberry and coconut cake and the oat and raisin cookie, both of which were delicious. The blueberry cake was our favorite, with a delectable icing in the middle. The next morning, we returned for brunch and enjoyed two dirty chai lattes, a Cuban club sandwich, and buttermilk pancakes with banana, chocolate chips, peanut butter, and maple syrup. The portions were generous and satisfying. We explored other cafes in the area but ultimately returned to Trade for more desserts to enjoy after a concert - this time trying the carrot cake and chocolate and date bar, both of which were equally delicious. The staff, including Louise, were all friendly and accommodating, especially when we asked to share our dishes. We would definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again."

"Superb Pizzas...and very friendly crew !. Visited here with family on Saturday night..didn't have reservations and was very busy. We did try calling but we just got to leave a message. Anyway the friendly manager said the wait world be an hour but accommodated us in half. The staff are very friendly and all of them seem to be serving all the tables, albeit at times they tend to forget orders. But the advantage is that you don't get rushed and can have a relaxed time. The atmosphere is great and lively and is a trendy and energetic area of Manchester. The best part of the menu are the starters and the spectacular variety of pizzas. Everything is freshly made and it makes such a difference....read more"

"Gaby's is built around a hype as the famous deli which was saved from closure by a collection of celebrities, actors and Westend stars. Sure it has this rather New York deli chic thing going on, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. Outside the food looks amazing. Heaps of brightly coloured, inviting combinations, but my meal didn't blow me away. I can not deny that my pastrami bagel isn't good, but it is just a bagel with meat in it. There isn't anything else going on. It does however come with a side salad, where I get a brief insight into the potential of the deli. In my salad is a potato mix that is very nice , and has little bits of gherkin which make it rather fun. I also have...read more"

"Came across this bistro which is in a beautiful location. It was lunch time we fancied sitting in since it was pouring rain. Unfortunately the door was locked they were only serving takeaway from a hatch in the wall. There were 2 (pretty pricey) soup options advertised however we were surprised to be told they were both sold out! It was only about 1340 on a Sunday so we felt this was a bit strange as they’d obviously not prepared properly. We left feeling very disappointed. Won’t be back would recommend taking a picnic if you’re visiting Cramond as this place appears to be the only option for food in the area."

"This is one of our favourite hosteleries for our weekly Friday lunchtime meals out in retirement. I must admit that this is in a large part due to to it serving the tastiest and best value fillet steak around, served as a Wellington, with a selection of sides included, including truffle mash (though sides are extra with other mains). Oh, and also as, though it has no real ale on hand pulls, it does a nice pint of keg Neck Oil India Pale Ale, though it is 50% overpriced at £6, as opposed to £4 elsewhere. The menu features a good range of lunch time fayre, including, as starters, a cracking prawn cocktail (though the latest version is not as good as the one before, which had a little caviar on top), haggis bon bons, Thai fish cakes, black pudding and poached egg, seafood scotch egg and garlic and rosemary Camembert. As well as the fillet, mains include Salmon Wellington, Sea Bass, curry, lasagne, corned beef pie, a massive plate of mussels and various chicken recipies, one of which my wife had. Overall then, a good value, quality, pub eatery, though be warned that it can get a tad busy and thus noisy on Friday afternoons."

"I have visited Troy Café numerous times throughout the years and their hospitality remains consistently excellent. The food is consistently fresh and plentiful, and I highly recommend their salad buffet as well as the selection of cooked breakfast options. It is a wonderful place to relax with friends on a Sunday afternoon."

"My New York Jewish husband and I love London, but miss the great food we could so easily get in the enclaves of NYC and Long Island. Well, we have found something even better Monty’s deli. No exaggeration that the food is excellent. From the perfectly prepared latkes, tender and flavourful (generous) pastrami sandwich, not to mention the chopped liver, like you can’t believe. And then there was the shabbat dinner. You will write home about the chicken that is better than what your mother made juicy, full of flavour and so moist. The veggies and potatoes are cooked with yum! Oh, then the kugel like dessert. And so much food. We’re taking my brother in law when he comes from the States next month (the smart professor who travels the world and rates places on their food). He’ll be jealous because he doesn’t live here!"

"Hubby and I popped in Beattie’s for the first time today when we visited Holmfirth. We are so pleased we chose this lovely cafe for our late lunch, it was superb. We had the sharing platter, wow! It was huge and there were so many delicious home made things on it such as hummus, pickles, biscuits, pate. My hubby said the ham pastrami were the tastiest he’s ever had. The staff were lovely, very smiley and helpful. All in all it’s an easy 5 star review we can’t wait to return."

"Me and my dad have eaten here quite a few times recently for lunch. First of all it 's a lovely place inside, we 've walked past it so many times because it 's a little easy to miss from the outside. Staff are really friendly and polite and they don 't keep you waiting long. As for the food......phenomenal. My dad has the beef taco sandwich every time. Best sandwich I 've ever had according to him, and believe me that 's high praise from him. I 've ordered a few things now to go over some of the lunch menu. Everything was incredibly tasty and well portioned. Above all for me though is the breakfast brioche bap. Everything perfectly cooked and just tastes fresh. I don 't normally like black pudding, but I will scoff this one with no hesitation. The bap is fresh as I said and is perfect to house the sausage, egg etc. The homemade ding sauce is a highlight, a little sweetness to add to the savoury. A-star. It can be crowded at times, so you may not get seated right away. This is partially due to some renovation work going on in their coffee garden out back, but we have never had to wait 10 minutes to get seated and believe me, the wait is worth it."

"Excellent with some wow! This is a review of the dinner we had at The Kings Head. The best meal out I’ve had in years. Great service in an attractive environment; really good food; good value. I had the tofu starter followed by hake and mussels as the main. The fish was very well cooked, about perfect I’d say, with great flavours and texture, as were the mussels. The crumble pudding was delicious and deserves a ‘wow’ rating, along with the treacle and Guinness bread we had before the starters. My wife really enjoyed her meal too. I don’t often get this excited about a meal this was a great dinner. Many thanks to Patrick for his kind attention."

"I'm concerned that this restaurant is operated by an organization known as the Twelve Tribes, which has been linked to troubling beliefs and practices. There are serious allegations against them, including support for mass genocide, antisemitism, racism, and homophobia, as well as reports of child abuse. It's been documented that they may exploit child labor, with disturbing footage available online showing harsh treatment of children, some as young as three years old, if they make mistakes while working. I urge everyone to research this issue before choosing to support their establishment. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"we dived in kats kitchen as our last hoorah to keswick and the seen, especially after we have seen that they are totally vegan (for my friend). we were the first customers at the place, greeted with a big hallo, the venue was welcoming and colorful with...viel quirk. we were invited up, sitting on the window to enjoy our full breakfast with a beautiful view of the river. while there were a few hiccups with the breakie: the baked beans were tepid, I had an ersatz toast after taking a dive from the cooking pass, and the boiled tomatos fought back. overall the breakfast was tasteful, colorful and well cooked. as a traditional front I would definitely recommend the menu!"

"I really want to love this place as Warminster really needs it but despite visiting for lunch 6 or 7 times it is consistently underwhelming and I’ve given up for now! Even at 1230 half of the menu is no longer available and I end...up with something I don’t really want, the rolls for the sandwiches are thick stodgy ciabatta (ask for whole meal bread much better but never offered) slabs of cheese and pastrami with a couple of meagre spoonfuls of salad for the last visit and made me feel I should have stayed at home for my food. When my companion asked for a certain drink on the menu and then another both were not available so we ended up with “let’s start with what you do have”. My husband met me for lunch there as well the following week and we had a very similar experience. Could be so much better as the owner clearly works hard and makes some good cakes and has done the garden up well and managed to survive the pandemic plus there is nothing like it in town."

"The restaurant is small but fairly clean. However, we were disappointed to find other people's cups left on our table. The selection of vegan pastries is impressive, but they don't offer much for brunch. The bagel we ordered looked sad, mostly filled with leaves and avocado. My partner's avocado toast was overloaded with onions, not very enjoyable. I opted for two pastries, which were delicious. The place seemed a bit understocked, as they didn't have orange juice or San Pellegrino cans. I abstained from ordering a drink. My partner enjoyed their coffee, though."

"I have had 2 James Patrick experiences in the last few weeks so have documented both in this one review! 1) My friend and I were in need of a lockdown treat so when restrictions were lifted slightly we decided to have a midweek socially...distanced afternoon tea/picnic in the nearby park. We pre-ordered our afternoon teas and my husband kindly collected our boxed order from James Patrick. My husband and I had recently had an afternoon tea each and thoroughly enjoyed it. However this was not a patch on the previous one. There were only 2 types of sandwiches on this occasion, the quiche was much smaller and the pork pie was more ordinary. Worst of all, there was NO clotted cream with the scones! Maybe they make more effort with the afternoon teas at the weekend! It was a lovely sunny day fortunately so it was still a treat. The afternoon tea was well packaged, each in a covered plastic box and each contained: 2 x sausage rolls, a small quiche (halved), a small pork pie (halved) 4 x triangle sandwiches (egg mayo and tuna mayo), a pot of creamy coleslaw and carrot salad. There was also a large scone and a pot of jam (but NO CLOTTED CREAM). It was very nice! The sandwiches had plenty of filling and the quiche was tasty. The pork pie was average this time. At £11 per person it was still good value and all good quality. We enjoyed our picnic anyway. 2) This was a Saturday treat as consolation on the day that we should have gone away on holiday! We ordered the cake afternoon tea on this occasion as opposed to the scone afternoon tea that we had previously. My husband collected the pre-ordered teas from the shop at the requested time although he did have to queue outside for a while. The afternoon tea was well packaged, each in a covered plastic box and each contained: 2 x sausage rolls, a small salmon quiche (halved), a small pork pie (halved) and 4 x triangle sandwiches. The sandwiches were really tasty and made with nice bread. We had chicken mayo, ham salad, cheese coleslaw. There was also a pot of creamy coleslaw and carrot salad each. There was also a small cake selection this time (instead of a scone); slightly different on each platter. There was an almond sandwich cake, carrot cake (2 different batches, one was moist and fresh, the other dry and old), lemon cake (lovely and moist), and flapjack (a bit dry again). We had enough left over for lunch the following day! At £11 per person it was good value and mostly good quality."

"Always a lovely welcome. Great menu. Husband and daughter are coeliac and the cafe take this seriously. Really good amount in the menu can be adapted to be gluten free, French toast, breakfasts etc. Gluten free scones are lovely. All brownies are g f, good...selection of g f cakes as well. Shame on the full English that the sausages aren’t gluten free as they’re widely available, that’s the only slight negative. We were a family of 4, 2 young children. Thoroughly recommend."

"I visited this restaurant for lunch today with a group of 5 adults and a baby. The staff were very accommodating and made room for the baby's pushchair. The restaurant has a great selection of burgers, sides, and a fantastic children's menu. We all ended up ordering the pastrami burger, which was delicious with thick slices of pastrami. I usually prefer smash-style burgers, but these thick burgers were juicy and perfectly seasoned - I might be a convert! The sides were all excellent, with crispy and fluffy chips, crisp onion rings, and cheesy mac and cheese. The restaurant is very child-friendly, with coloring sheet menus, staff willing to prepare younger babies' food, clean highchairs, and space made to accommodate families with children. The children's menu offers great prices and choices."

"First time visiting at the weekend. Tried the take away menu, my wife and I got a Hot dog each for (each) and I can honestly say it was a massive disappointment! Wildly over priced for what was an ok' loaded hot dog with a tiny bit of salad on the side. Sitting in the car in the car park trying to eat this was pretty underwhelming. I completely understand that businesses are trying their hardest to manage in this troubling world we now find ourselves in but to charge those prices is just a joke. Each to their own, maybe some people have that extra money (to be overcharged) at the moment but I can't imagine we will not bother going back here again."
