"The food at this restaurant was delicious, with perfectly cooked pasta and a fantastic homemade sauce. The atmosphere was pleasant, although it was quieter due to it being a cold Tuesday night. The music was a bit random, but overall it was a nice dining experience. My only complaint was the high price of a small glass of soda and lime at £3.00. The service was excellent, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The overall cost per person for dinner was between £20-30. Food was rated a 4 out of 5, with the atmosphere receiving a 3 out of 5."

"Warning to any one. Went there today for lunch ... what a mistake... I will definitely not be back. Wine list not great, prices for bottles very Food tasteless to average Waitress not very attentive Had to ask her times that we are ready for a drink When asked her that we are ready for an order she just said I will be back but too a long time to come and take our order Had to basically yell out to her to get a refill of my drink When coming to pay the bill was shocked to see a service charge ... I asked the manager to please remove the service charge as I felt the service was unreasonable he just said no he was not going to removed the charge It is illegal to charge a service charge if the customer felt that the service was unreasonable, we really did order a lot and on the dim Sum menu I did not see a service charge note. After embarrassing me and made me feel uncomfortable I just paid the charge and left."

"After attending ABBA Mania at Venue Cymru, we decided to book a table at this restaurant. They kindly stayed open for us, and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, and the food was the best we have had in a Chinese restaurant. It was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The prices were very affordable compared to our usual dining spots. Our meal, including 2 starters, 2 mains, fried rice, and a bottle of wine, cost only £61. We highly recommend giving this place a try! We give it 5 stars for the service and quality."

"Unfortunately we live in Los Angeles or we would live at A Wong. We build our trips to London around eating the incredible dishes. I enjoy most Chinese food but this is way beyond any other Chinese food that we have had. Andrews gets two Michlin stars. He deserves three! I would give him five stars on a grade up to three stars. The rooms are delightful and tables are not squeezed together. The service is first class. Every person knows and carries out their job. They explain the different dishes. Nathalie, Andrew’s wife greets everyone and treats them like family. Roger Gibbons the general manager does the same thing. The staff, Ben helped us by taking pictures of us. Tashi remembered us from prior visits. Vaibhav and Jouves were our main servers. They were really great. Shelly also remembered us from prior visits. She was terrific. Michael the sommelier is so knowledgeable about Wine and helped select the best options. He is wonderful! Andrew Wong himself is extremely talented. He brings together food combinations from many parts of China. He is certainly not aloof. He is humble. What a treat for being a chef of his caliber. The first of the three days was dim sum lunch. Let first say that the food is indescribable in that there are so many incredible flavors blended together. My wife had the crispy spring roll lettuce wrap. She enjoyed it. Then she had the black pepper beef, whispy pastry with tamarind with dried shrimp caramel. Loved it! Followed by the forbidden city sweetcorn, wagu beef meat paste and black truffle. Salt and pepper French bean fritters. She loved this so much she could not wait to have it again on Saturday lunch. She finished with Wagu beef and lettuce fried rice and oyster emulsion. I had the pork and prawn dumpling with king crab, smoked tofu and lemon grass broth. It was phenomenal! Then the clear shrimp dumpling with sweet chili sauce and a rice vinegar cloud. So far I am dying and going to food heaven. Next I had the Cantonese kitchen barbecue pork crackling with prawn, plum and truffle. How does Andrew dream up such amazing food combinations? Let alone then produce them. Next abalone flaky tart with aged balsamic vinegar. Fabulous! 999 layered scallop puff with xo sauce. Yes another winner. Crab claw with tomato and wasabi. I loved it! Next was my absolute favorite. Garlic steamed wild tiger prawn, mung bean noodles and superior soy. OMG!!!! We had the steamed duck yolk custard bun. Heaven in a bun! Friday evening dinner was prefix and I left my notes at the restaurant. But let me reassure you everything was out of this world. I did post pictures of each dish for Friday. We went down stairs to a special room for dessert. I posted pictures of each dessert. All were special. Saturday we returned for dim sum lunch and selected some of the same dishes from our first lunch. Then we added some new dishes. First new dish wasIsle of Mull seared scallop and honey glazed Iberico pork cheung fun. Followed by bamboo pole noodles with king crab and spring onion-oil. These two dishes were fabulous. As you can tell I love everything about eating here. I encourage everyone to come here. Just leave me room for when my wife and I come to London. Thank you A Wong. I hope that I did not leave anyone out because everyone is terrific."

"Called into this restaurant without a booking on what was, clearly, a busy Friday evening. They managed to seat us but, fairly, told us we had only an hour or so to eat as it had already been reserved. There's a wide-ranging menu with something to suit most palates. My wife went for the satay chicken and we shared a plate of noodles. Hers was lovely, as were the noodles. I went for the king prawns in ginger, garlic and lemongrass (which was described as moderate heat on the menu). Such classifications are subjective and, to me, it was quite hot but, having said that, the flavours were immense. Beautifully cooked, the prawns were exactly right, not overcooked as in so many other places, and the blend of garlic, ginger and lemongrass was perfect with each being perfectly balanced. If heat is an issue I'm sure the chef could tone down the chillies but, for flavour, it was phenomenal."

"Somethings changed used to really like takeaway from the Regent. But a couple of days ago it was poor. Several dishes I used to enjoy now brown, bland or downright weird. Didn’t keep the leftovers for the next day, which isn’t like me ! Plus seemed expensive for what we had. Won’t go back. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 5 Recommended dishes: Satay Chicken"

"The Chinese food at this restaurant is fantastic and highly recommended. After reading other reviews, I was initially concerned about the quality but our experience was completely different. The service was excellent, the menu had a lot of options, and the restaurant was busy. If you had a bad experience before, I suggest giving it another try."

"My friend and i visited, having phoned to book a table. During that call we were not advised that it would be a 15 pound minimum charge per person. Staff were grumpy looking. We chose a meal each which totaled £18 90,not including service charge. They took the order and kept offering us some other items When we refused the waitress said it would be £15 00 each. We sad no and said our meal would cost £18.90 as on the menu. No where on the menu does it say £15.00 min charge per person. The food was ok. We were not offered cultrey and had to use the serving spoon once we had given up the battle with chopsticks. When the bill came, it was £21. which included service, and they had charged the wrong amount for one of the dishes. They were very rude and argued as other customers arrived. I showed the waitress the menu and said we were not paying any more. They were trying to fleece us and it was disgusting. I will never go there again and advise all customers to watch thier bill very carefully."

"I love Chinese cuisine but can’t usually find gluten-free options at Chinese restaurants however The Peking Inn was fantastic! Not only did I have lots of choice, they were even able to alter some dishes I really wanted to accomandate my needs. We were a large group and I felt like the staff were super attentive and there was a great atmosphere. It was reasonably priced and a great selection of delicious food. Pam the owner is wonderful and I would highly recommend this restaurant especially to my fellow celiacs!"

"Very disappointed with a visit here for my 60th Birthday. We have been coming to the restaurant for the past 20 years and we have always had great food great service good value. I'm not sure if it is under new ownership but the menu has changed which in itself is fine. The menus on the table were plastic and sticky not a good start. We were sat next to the toilet even though we booked the first server was surly to say the least. Considering our table was for 5.30 surely there was no need to seat us there. The choice of food was disappointing there used to be a banquet meal which was great value but that has gone now. All in all not what i expected for what was a significant birthday treat. I could have spent that £100 and enjoyed the food elsewhere"

"I arrived at the restaurant around 12:30pm and found that it wasn't too crowded. I was seated at a table near the entrance to the restroom, which felt a bit cramped as there was another couple sitting back to back at an adjacent table. The constant traffic of people going in and out of the restroom was a bit annoying. The dim sum menu was a bit pricier than what you would typically find at a teahouse. The shrimp ball rice with smooth egg looked more like gravy and the portion of egg was small. The dish was a bit bland and needed soy sauce for flavor. The salt and pepper pork knuckles were decent, though a bit too fried for my taste. The bill came out to be quite expensive, possibly due to the upscale location of the restaurant. Overall, my experience was average and I probably wouldn't make the long drive there again to eat."

"Lovely pub, staff are great and very welcoming and polite. We eat here often because hubby loves the fish and chips but this is the first Sunday lunch we've had as a family. Can't fault it, fabulous value for money, portions are very large and the meat was beautiful, the beef melted in the mouth as did the pork...and the crackling was cracking . The lemon and passionfruit cheesecake is homemade and delicious, the chocolate brownie is also a must have for any chocolate fan . Only downside is my eyes are too big for my belly and i think im going to pop!! will definitely be returning as Sunday lunch visitors. 10/10"

"My husband and I visited Dings on Friday, January 27th, 2023. We were staying in Dingwall and were in the mood for Chinese food, so we decided to check out the good reviews. We were not disappointed. We went in earlier in the day to look at the menu while passing by and had already made a reservation. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose our table for the evening. The food was absolutely delicious, even though we ended up ordering too much for just the two of us. They kindly offered to pack up the leftovers for us, but since we were staying in a hotel, we declined. The lady who served us was exceptional - attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. I highly recommend Dings for well-prepared food and top-notch service. Thank you, Dings, for an amazing dining experience."

"We have been looking for a good Chinese take away for as long as we can remember. The Mulan was recommended by our good friend Miles, so we ordered a take away last night (14/04/23). My wife and I both agreed that it was the best Chinese food we have ever tasted! The king prawn in ginger and onions was to die for, as was the chicken chow mien and sweet and sour chicken. It is collection only, which we didn't mind as it is near to where we live and the staff serving were lovely, polite and attentive. This is now going to be our go to Chinese takeaway and we will definitely be ordering again very soon! The food was hot and was full of vegetables (went to another one recently that was just different colours of beige), whereas the food at The Mulan was colourful and very fresh. Big thank you to all at The Mulan it was really lovely."
"8 of us went here for a birthday celebration, and having seen so many positive reviews on trip advisor chose to go out of our way to Youngs in Wembley. The restaurant itself looked terrible on the outside, and was also terrible on the inside and had a funny smell. Nothing about the decor would indicate you were in a Chinese restaurant, except the chop sticks on the tables. Decor aside we were hopeful about the food but were left sorely disappointed. Food was bland and one of our guests couldn’t eat his beef dish at all as it tasted off. There was just one person serving and the service was very hit and miss despite only one other table of two occupied. We paid the bill and left as quick as we possibly could."
