"This review was an absolute MUST ! This isn’t your usual Turkish takeaway. Where do i start… The Chicken Shish kebab… The Chicken is sooo tender, it literally melts in your mouth like butter (which if you no your food, chicken is often hard to get right and let me tell you they have mastered it! This is served with the freshest salad and mouth watering homemade bread the quality from start to finish is on point! I then had the pleasure of trying Chicken Shish wrap which was recommended to me and omg literally it was so AMAZING i couldn’t help myself and had it 3 nights in a row haha! The chicken again perfect, the salad and favours mixed together with garlic mayo and chilli sauce in sort tortilla wrap, the only rating i can give this is 10/10! My husband had the Lamb Doner which again he couldn’t fault only complimented on how good it was and nothing he has ever had before (and he has had allot of kebabs lol and then for the 2nd night i convinced him that the Chicken Shish Wrap was a must try! and no surprises he absolutely loved it! We have also had the cheese pide which was mouth watering. The kids had pizza and chips which we also tried and again WOW. All i can say is if you want good quality food that is authentic, fresh and very very tasteful ! this is the place to go, you will not be disappointed! I am definitely looking forward in trying the rest of the menu :"

"The booking for the Sunday evening meal for 2 was made via e-mail conversations, direct with the hotel, and proved to be quick, easy and efficient. It is suggested that no matter when you are going that a reservation is made in advance to ensure you get a table. The restaurant is situated within Bailbrook House Hotel on the outskirts of Bath and has free parking for those who are driving. The restaurant is situated in the basement of the House and is where the heritage of the historic mansion really comes into its own. It has a cosy ambience with original vaulted archways made from traditional Bath stone adding to the intimate feel, plus plenty of tables overlooking a secluded woodland scene and countryside beyond. On arrival we were greeted, shown to our table and, have to say, the service provided throughout was very attentive, well-informed and quite polite. The evening menu has a diverse mix of seasonal dishes, classic flavours and firm favourites, there being something to suit almost all. The wine menu was equally diverse, though the mark up may put a drinker of fine wine off. All dishes are made from scratch, featuring, where possible, seasonal and local ingredients cooked fresh to order. Well worth the wait as they were good quality, well presented to a high standard (compliments to the chef on this). Portions are slightly on the small side, but each dish was a creation with pleasant groupings of textures and tastes. Items of note from our chosen dishes included the starter of ‘Scottish salmon’ and the main of ‘Hampshire venison’. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and would use it again, however this is ‘Fine Dining’ that comes with a price tag to note for the wines!"

"We decided to dine at wagamama after attending a show with friends. One of our friends had never been to wagamama before, so I assured her she would love it. However, I had to apologize later on. We arrived at 4:45, which was a busy time for staff breaks and evening shift preparation. Our server, Angel, took our order but then seemed to disappear. The first issue arose with the wine – the bottle we ordered arrived opened and missing some wine. When we requested a new bottle, we were told they only had opened bottles with no corks. Eventually, a full bottle was brought to us. We also had to ask multiple times for glasses of tap water, even though the order had been sent to the bar. The edamame beans were disappointing compared to our previous experiences at other wagamama locations. The Ebi Katsu and chili squid were good, but the overall service was lacking. Our server seemed inexperienced and we felt forgotten during our meal. The white chocolate and ginger cheesecake, normally a favorite of mine, was served frozen solid. Overall, our experience at the Hammersmith wagamama was disappointing and did not live up to the standards we expect from the chain. I hope that the management will address these issues and bring the branch up to the level of other wagamama locations. I would recommend trying a different branch and not the one in Hammersmith."
