"Poor experience start to finish. Both waiters appeared to have no experience at all. On arrival restaurant was quiet with only one other table, waiter was unable to prepare alcoholic drinks, so we had to wait for another waiter, which resulted in a 40 minute wait for drinks. Once food was finally ordered, starters and main course all came at once, leaving no room on the table. The chicken tikka was cold and had to go back to the kitchen to be microwaved and the naan bread was hard. Sadly, the food was not what was expected having read other reviews. The waiters were pleasant, but not once checked that the food was ok or whether we would like more drinks. The ladies bathroom was far from clean with no toilet paper and a dirty sink. The meal was very disappointing and expensive. It was easy to see why the restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night."

"This restaurant is truly underrated. The staff is outstanding and very friendly. The constant flow of young adults coming in and out hints at the delicious food being served. Despite the lack of customers dining in, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal each time I visited and always ended up with a large takeout container to bring home. Some of the curry dishes even taste better the next morning for breakfast. It's a bring your own (alcohol) and bring your own (cash) establishment, as they do not have a card machine. While there may be some questionable practices with their books, the food coming out of the kitchen is nothing short of delicious."

"Although we had booked a table online in advance, the table was not ready for us at 5.30pm but the staff quickly joined two tables together which was fine. The food was excellent. One of the staff was quite abrupt when taking the dessert order and snapped the menus off us. He was clearly trying to rush (although it seemed unnecessary as they seemed to have plenty of staff) but then only 4 of the 5 desserts arrived and we had to ask for the fifth dessert again as it had been forgotten about. Although the service could have been better, the food was very tasty and reasonably priced."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aamchi Mumbai, and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This restaurant consistently delivers amazing food, impeccable service, and undoubtedly provides the best dining experience every time. The exceptional food alone does not guarantee a memorable dining experience. What truly sets Aamachi Mumbai apart is their unparalleled service. The staff members are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring that guests have a remarkable time. From the moment I stepped foot inside the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine desire to make my visit exceptional . The level of professionalism combined with their friendly and welcoming demeanor created an atmosphere that made me feel valued as a customer. No matter how many times I've visited, I have always been treated to the same outstanding service and exceptional food. This level of consistency speaks volumes about the dedication and commitment of the restaurant's team. In conclusion, Aamchi india is a Resturant where amazing food, outstanding service, and an unforgettable experience come together seamlessly. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a night out with loved ones, or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, Aamchi Mumbai is the place to be. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates gastronomic delights and top-notch hospitality."

"My daughter ordered via phone and asked for a collection as we only live 4 minutes walk away. Ariana House Special, Wonderful, as for the main Tandoori Mixed Grill, no mixed, chicken chicken chicken oh and onions. Mushroom Bhaji, that was a tinned chopped mushrooms with oh onions. Now the most annoying part of the order, ....a simple easy peasy Garlic Nan. When my daughter arrived home she realised that the Nan was a plain ordinary Nan. So she rang up and moaned about the lack of mixed grill and Garlic in the Nan. The staff were happy to rectify the issue and promised extra Garlic in the Nan and Lamb to be added to the mixed Grill. So off she went, back down the street with mixed grill and nan. She returned pleased that the issue had been resolved. Was it heck. There must of been at least a quarter of a clove in the nan. i hate garlic and i couldnt smell ought. The mixed grill had improved, more chicken and two pieces of lamb???????. Shame because it was worth the money before Christmas.. Cant knock the front of house staff, shame they have to put up with the kitchen staff. Lost a local, Im afraid. NOT AGAIN"

"Why we visited Sampan Bromley? We have been looking for a restaurant to have Sunday Buffet lunch at reasonable price and with many items to taste. We have seen few other restaurants around Bromley do the Buffet but we selected this restaurant as the picture(on the website) provided in Buffet section is tempting and looks like there are many items Actual Experience: When we arrived there, we were shocked. Here is why 1) Less than 11 items in Buffet and that was including Salad items. Here were the items: Here are the items: Starters: a) Salads (too basic) b) Chicken tikka (taste 3 out of 5) c) Lamb sheikh kebab (taste 3 out of 5) d) Onion bhajji (taste cold and soggy so, 2 out of 5) Main Course: a) Naan(plain and dry) and Rice b) Shaag Aloo (taste 3.5 out of 5) c) veg jalfrezi (taste 2 out of 5) d) Chicken tikka masala (taste horrible as an Indian, never seen chicken tikka masala with coconut 0 out of 5) e) Chicken masala (taste 2 out of 5) f) Rogan ghos(lamb) (taste 3.5 out of 5) Dessert: a) Fruits(gapes, pineapple , melons) does it call dessert? Not Sure 2) No chutneys or sauces are available for starters 3) Taste wise, the items are not close to Authentic Indian dishes 4) Shocked to see that there is no Dessert item Overall Food Rating: 2 out of 5 We strongly Believe that This Restaurant is. "Delicious and great fun! Sunny, Monika and the team were a pleasure from day one. They went out of their way to make my stag do meal (group of 14) amazing. The service over email and phone beforehand was excellent, responding to all questions and happily catering for several very specific requests. Dietary requirements were no bother at all, they are clearly experts. The food was exquisite without a single complaint from anyone. Full of flavour, and creative without losing any authenticity. Samosas: best we’ve ever had. Generous extras were thrown in. It’s obvious their passion is making their guests feel special, and with such quality it’s no wonder they are able to offer such fantastic value for money. We’re already planning our next visit! Thank you."

"On the day that government extended the tier 4 areas across the country, I collected dinner from Desi only to find that all the 3 employees inside Desi had no protection whatsoever. Not even bad placed mask on the chin as many people use, not a single mask at sight. Every other take away that I have used in the last week had employees with masks as mandatory for every open business. Being a restaurant with a open door on a tier 4 area I expected much more from Desi."

"Terrible. I ordered momos, Everest lamb and steamed rice. You get about 10 momos with the broth and side which is acceptable for £10. On a first bite yes they are nice but then you look and realise they are all far too uniform and are shop bought absolutely not made on the premises so I could have zipped to oriental express and got some for the freezer! No happy. The broth was a bit bland. Then we move to the curry do you think the customer is stupid? I could taste allspice and it hadn’t cooked out so was horrible and overpowering. The lamb was as tough as old boots so had not cooked off enough either. I was gonna give leftovers to my teen son but I chucked it down the toilet instead as I want him to know quality and this was not how Nepalese food should taste. What sort of clowns are running this parade?!!"

"I always noticed the wonderful smell coming from this place when I walked by, so I finally decided to try it out over the weekend. The man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, explaining the spiciness levels of the curries and offering to adjust them to our preferences. The food we ordered was delicious, the quality was great for the price, and we didn't have to wait too long for it. I would definitely order from here again. Another great thing is that the menu offers the option to make any dish vegetarian or vegan, which is a big bonus for those who require it."

"We give British pub fare much due credit for coming a long way in the last 20 years since its previous dark days of unmitigated blandom. Still, the vanguard of English culinary salvation remains its range and ubiquity of excellent Indian food, as we are sampling this evening, with Asian and Mediterranean food holding up the flank and rear. This place is a prime example ans best in class for its specific category of hard to find authentic South Indian far. On order shown here are chicken masala dosai (crepe) and chicken biryani. The restaurant cuisine actually hails from my ancestral Kerala which I have yet to discover. The copious portions made for ample take home, even for the two ravenous patrons."

"I moved to Inverness over 20 years ago, and in that time, the city center has transformed in countless ways. Businesses have come and gone, trends have risen and faded, but one thing has remained steadfast: Sam’s Indian Restaurant. Through all the changes, Sam’s has been a constant—a warm, welcoming beacon of incredible Indian cuisine. My family and I have dined with Sam many times over the years, and one thing that has always stood out is his consistency. Even as the world—and the hospitality industry—changed after COVID, Sam’s dedication to great food and exceptional service never wavered. In a time when people are more mindful of how they spend their time and money, Sam’s continues to deliver a unique and personal dining experience that’s increasingly rare in Inverness. What sets Sam’s apart isn’t just the food (which is always fantastic), but the thoughtful touches that make every visit memorable. Sam himself takes the time to speak with guests, ensuring every order is just right. On one morning visit, I even caught him arranging fresh flowers—a small detail that perfectly captures the care and pride he puts into his restaurant. Many restaurants in Inverness have lost their spark, but Sam’s remains a shining example of what great hospitality looks like. Every visit feels special, whether you’re dining in or calling for takeout. If you’re visiting Inverness and considering the city’s more well-known spots like Rockpool, Café 1, or Mustard Seed, I urge you to make room in your itinerary for Sam’s Indian Restaurant. It’s not about flashy décor or high ceilings; it’s about the taste of his food and the heart behind every dish. And yes, the place is spotless, which is just as important. Thank you, Sam, for your unwavering hospitality. I can’t wait for my next meal!"
