"I had booked this restaurant for my 60th birthday and was excited to have a steak. Unfortunately, there was an issue and they were out of steak. I decided to try another dish and it turned out to be really delicious. The food at this restaurant is wonderful. The only drawback was the service - we had to wait a long time for our food and were only asked once if we wanted drinks."

"Went to the most wonderful wedding here this week...provably the best ever... The venue was outstanding, perfect fir a summers day. The food was lovely and displayed with such originality and care...no wonder it all got eaten!! Great selection in the bar, rhubarb gin my new favourite! Loved the garden and outside area, football was played, children ran around and the boat in the garden, perfect! The staff were brilliant, friendly welcoming and attentive without being obtrusive...genuinely wanted us to have have a great time...they even joined in and danced with us! All in all I will plan a visit to Worthing to come back to this venue although I suspect without the wedding it may be a little quieter. I get why the wedding couple love it so much"

"I and my child went to the big moes dinner because we went to the liverpool Vs-Mann-Stadtspiel. I didn't have much, but I had a milkshake (what wa devine) and two bee in two jars that I really appreciate. my child had a burger and chips he said he was the best he ever had. I appreciate the friendly and friendly service. I would like to say a great thank you to the great moes team wembley. I look forward to coming back."

"Camberley certainly has its fair share of good fish and chip shops and this is definitely one of them. The cod was very good from here cooked just right with a nice thin crisp batter. The chips were nice too, not the crispest but not soggy either, and good sized portions. A medium cod, ‘cone of chips’ and mushy peas cost £10.00. Both were cooked freshly to order. Served in a cardboard tray which was ideal, but slightly let down by the offer of a plastic bag paper would have been better to avoid soggy chips on the drive home."

"We visited before a gig at the SSE Arena Wembley, the place was quiet when we got there. The light foods were very tasty. I was however disappointed when I visited the loo. I am disabled and walk with crutches. When I used the disabled loo I found it being used as a stock room. It had a table umbrella, a large pack of loo roll maybe) a sign that would be put out front, A mop and bucket and a few other things, I would have taken pictures but I left my phone on the table . I was very glad I did not use a wheelchair as I am not sure I would have been able to get in had I needed a wheelchair. I can but hope this will be a one off event as other than that it was a most pleasant occasion and the guy manning the bar and delivering food was very nice indeed."

"I booked my daughters baby shower here with Andre he was amazing through every step of the process and advised me perfectly on what I needed catering exactly to our needs to suit our budget. Andre really did exceed our expectations and every aspect was perfect. The venue was set up beautifully with a stunning private event room and garden area. Andre even came in when he was not working to check in and say hello. Apo was our host on the day and he did not stop running around for us! He was so friendly and helpful making sure everyone was happy and catered for. The food was really lovely too and the vibe was on point. A real Gem of a venue and an incredible team cannot thank you guys enough for giving us a day to remember. So many compliments from our guests for what a great job I done when really it’s you guys that deserve the credit as you made the whole process a dream."

We had calimari, halloumi, chicken shish and baklava, each course was amazing, the service was great, it was lunchtime so fairly quiet but lady serving was attentive and helpful..... The Camembert starter was lovely, also came with a generous amount of toast, could easily have been a sharing starter. "No customers in there apart from us, no atmosphere very sad place, torn carpet on entrance, uncomfortable chairs and out of stock of Diet Coke and onion rings. Food was cold and took forever to get a drink. Expensive, and opened late at 12 noon-every other eatery locally open all day. I’m surprised they can stay in business. My party of people didn’t enjoy the experience and nor did I. I felt sorry for the waitress as she was wondering why we chose her restaurant. The owner should be chained to the restaurant seating area and made to eat there"

"First visited this restaurant in the mid 70s, when it was brilliant. Since then it's had it's ups and downs, but now it's back to its best. "The food was amazing but the service really let them down. They brought out our main course over an hour after being there , and the biggest problem was we hadn't had our starter!! So main course taken away and had to wait another 20 mins for starter! They then brought out 4 starters and one of them should have been vegetarian!! "It was a sunny evening, so it was quite busy, especially outside. Yet there was only one member of staff to serve everyone. She was friendly but didn't know what she was doing. We had to wait very long for everything. Food didn't arrive at the same time. When she gave us our menus, she also handed us the set menu lunch menu, I asked if we could still order from that because it was after seven, she said it was all fine so we ordered from the set menu (normally we don't order a starter, but we assumed the portions would be smaller because the price was considerably less than the same dishes on the normal a la carte menu). Even though the main was supposed to come with a side, we forgot to order and we were never told to pick one. Once the food finally arrived (two dishes were exactly the same, but one came about 5-7 min later than the other) we couldn't bother asking for our sides because it would probably take another hour. We also decided not to order coffee or dessert because of the long wait. In the end my mum went inside to pay because no one seemed to be serving us anymore. When she showed me the receipt when we got home I was shocked to see that we were charged full price for every dish and not the set menu prices. We had very small portions and no sides. At this point I couldn't be bothered to go back or contact them about it, also because we felt bad for the waitress who had to everything on her own and was friendly. The location is great, but it's overpriced and bad service. I wouldn't go back unless this changes."

"We had a pre Promenade concert dinner, arriving at 5.55 for 6.15 booking. We ordered a drink, and were shown to our table, where we sat, and sat, and sat. At 6.35 I found the staff and and told them we needed to be out by 7.00. It may seem strange, but the staff, personally, were very good but inexperienced. Certainly willing and very polite. In the alcove of three tables, no one had any food though! However, in the end we were out by 7.00, but it was a bit hairy. The food? It was very good. This could be a good spot with some training and a more confident and proactive staff."
