"Sunday lunch, this place was packed and no wonder , as soon a a table emptied it was filled . We had to wait 5 mins for our table , shock horror, absolutely no need for the apologies from the staff . Your greeting was warm and friendly and it was crazy busy. The place was buzzing with a fantastic atmosphere, lots of different tables. Chicken satay my wife loved , served in a coconut shell, different. Tomato soup was so thick and tasty .The roast beef was pink and perfect, it melted in the mouth best beef I’ve had for a long time. The lamb portion was large and tasty. Tried to work out what the sweetness in the gravy was , it was delicious. We didn’t have to wait long for our orders to be taken or our food delivered.if I had one criticism it would be . No there is none . Great place , great food, great staff. Thank you"

"The starter I had was delightful, the hummus was rich in its taste, enhanced by the avocado and the pitta bread was a wonderful addition to it. For the main, I had Grand Mac and Cheese and it was a delight. The texture and taste of it was wonderful and the jalapenos really elevated it for me. For the dessert I had the spiced plums and it was the perfect terminus for the courses, with it's sweet and spicy plums and cream with the biscuit-crunch leaving me very satisfied with what they have offered Overall, I enjoyed my time in Baby Grand, the staff are wonderful, the beers I've had are great and the food has been fantastic, served brilliantly with not too long of a wait. Fully recommended to anyone who visits or lives in Glasgow"

"Been planning to visit for years and not sure why we didn't make it until now but will certainly be returning ASAP. I ordered a bunch of smaller meze dishes. All of which were beautifully presented, fresh and delicious! I'm a vegetarian and it's so refreshing to have so much choice of naturally veggie foods. Special shout out to the stuffed vine leaves and spinach and feta parcels which were amazing. Each dish came with a fresh salad which was just as tasty and an added bonus My partner shared some of my meze dishes and ordered the lamb main which he said was incredible. There was sooo much food. We probably didn't need as much but with so much choice it's hard not to order extra. They did offer to pack up leftovers for us but we had elsewhere to go after so didn't on this occasion. Good to know for future reference. We finished out meal by sharing the Baklava selection which was amazing too and a perfect end to a lovely meal. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has a lovely charm. All the staff were friendly and helpful and food was served promptly. Would be a great place to go as a couple, with friends or family. Definitely one of the best places to eat out in Aberdeen."

"had the worst meal for a long time. my code was over boiled, gummy and tasteless. the meal was hardly warm. my other guests were also not overly impressed by their eating. very disappointed. and to supplement injuries, the service was diabolical slow. it took over an hour to get meals and half an hour to get desserts that were the better part of the meal. I didn't complain as much as it was the point - if they had offered me something else, it would probably have been as long as I had come to the table that my guests would have ended their dinner long ago. but I will never return to that."

"There’s certainly no shortage of food outlets in Ocean Terminal, with the likes of Wagamama, Pizza Express and Franky Benny’s all taking up residence. On a recent visit, Mr. Nick’s seemed to be the only busy outlet, with only a couple of empty tables. We (the girlfriend and myself decided to try it out. We both went for the Chicken Gyros pita. It’s described on the menu as being wrapped with tomatoes, onion tzatziki and fries and was only £4.50. Who would have thought that including fries in a pita would be such a good idea? The meat to salad to fries ratio was spot on, and there was just enough of each to keep hunger at bay but not ruin my appetite for dinner later. The staff at Mr Nicks were both friendly and helpful, making it a delightful place to pop into for a spot of lunch. It’s perfect for grabbing a quick bite to eat while out shopping or grabbing some dinner before or after a visit to the cinema. Note: They don't offer alcoholic beverages (Sorry! "Can't believe there are such mixed reviews on here. We have ordered from Spice N Grill at least 6 times since lockdown and have always experienced really quick service and the best food, really cheap too. Absolutely love the biryanis and kebabs. Never had a disappointing meal here, probably our favourite take away in Portsmouth."

"The most delicious meal I've had for a really long time. Booked this last minute slightly on a whim because not our usual cuisine. The chicken souvlakia was absolutely unreal. The chicken was thick, incredibly moist and the flavour was absolutely delicious. We had a mese mix of smaller plates, about 5 or 6 and that was perfect for 2 people. The pita breads were warm and the dips were so tasty. We also had chicken wings which had so much flavour and crispy just in the right places. The pudding was a malt chocolate slice and again, delicious. This was slightly on the pricier side, but for me, absolutely worth it. Whilst the dishes were very simple, the attention to detail and the amount of flavour was so fleshing.The interior was full of love and attention, with pretty plants and artifical vines on the beams. The host was very friendly and the overall experience was just so nice. Highly recommend."

"We were a group of five at Amber. We ordered 4 chicken dishes and 1 vegetarian dish. After the food arrived, my girlfriend and I (who had ordered the same dish) noticed that we were served fish instead of chicken. When I brought this to the waiter's attention, he adamantly denied it and said that the chicken had been grilled beforehand, which may have altered the taste. When I asked him to try the chicken meat (which was translucent and did not have the texture of meat), he said he didn't need to because it was chicken. Besides the fact that it smelled strongly of fish, I found this to be unprofessional.. very disappointing. The others at my table who also ordered chicken dishes did not experience this issue, and the comparison of their dishes confirmed it. I can recommend the naan bread and the ambiance, but I will not be returning to the restaurant as I expected at least some sort of acknowledgement, especially since I returned the dish almost untouched."

"I somehow managed to find my way to Slough and visited Slough Kebab for a few days. I needed a lamb and chicken kebab fix and after some research, I found this place about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station. When we arrived, we entered a large take-out area but were directed to a room on the right with plenty of open tables. The place was spotless and we placed our order from our table. We opted for the smaller size of the lamb and chicken kebabs with chips on the side. The portions were generous and the meat was juicy and flavorful. We also enjoyed fresh pita bread, garlic sauce, and spicy sauce with our meal. Everything was delicious and despite not being able to finish all the food, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My only suggestion would be to offer the kebabs in a packaging form for easier takeaway. Overall, I would definitely return to Slough Kebab if I ever find myself in Slough again."

"Amazing service and great food. All the staff members were lovely and we ended up having a lovely conversation with Surya, a waiter there, and another nice conversation one with two other employees outside who were on their break, when we were leaving: have eaten their food before but only takeaway! Tasty every time. Out first time eating in the restaurant and it was so cute and classy and they played good music in the background such as Amy Winehouse which made it even nicer. Will make an effort to come back to the restaurant, it’s a great place."

"did not really know the concept before I went in, I thought it was a kind of wrap then it was a kind of pizza. its no longer from a non-roll thick wrap with much topping. ends with the club and then a second chicken to share. they were so good. a lot of taste and topping. the tomato base / chili marmelade was really good. what is an outstanding is the basic package that velvet (i think that its name) is very remarkable in its different taste. a great addition. we had a few beers, all in all good value"

"Pre booked . On arrival the man behind the bar just pointed to a table when we walked in..didn’t even speak ! We ordered drinks while looking at the menu these seemed to take ages to arrive. The man behind the bar was talking on the phone taking orders not making the drinks that’s why they were taking so long to arrive ! We ordered our our food from a waiter who looked like he wished he was somewhere else, not serving us.. No customer service or social skills .. The food arrived as did the hot plates. The mixed grill was a tad burnt , but tasty. The food was all very nice. We felt like the place just lacked any atmosphere."

"I usually order this takeout during the week during work because the prices are fair and I really like their greek salad, plus its just so easy. "Awful, delivery nearly 45mins late, turned up stone cold. Missing items. Sent the food back. Calling the restaurant for over an hour, busy tone, obviously the phone is off the hook. Ordered at 6.30pm it is now 9.10pm. Ridiculous, they obviously have not heard of communication. Disgusted. The Kingsbury branch is superb will never order from the Wembley branch again. Also does your driver know there's a pandemic, its supposed to be contactless delivery and stay 2m apart."

"Today we stopped in Lynton to wait for the rain to go away so we can visit The Valley of Rocks. We randomly saw this little place and saw they had some spaces left so we thought, why not to try it! Menu was large to choose from. We chose to eat Meze which we love from the Greek Islands and I must say they didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, full of flavour and filled us up until the following day! The bartender/waitress was lovely, quick to serve us even though it had been busy. Mocha was absolutely delicious as well not many places can make it how it should be made so I was over the moon. My partner had a salted caramel milkshake and it was one of the best milkshakes he had. Full of flavour and it actually tasted like salted caramel!! Apple juice was amazing too. Thanks again. Would highly recommend! And I noticed it is a dog friendly place!"

"I had written a review for our meal on the JustEat app. I described our dinner as it was. Extremely disappointing. The chicken does not taste grilled, it tastes likes it has been roasted and then reheated. The lettuce and vegetables in the side salad were so old and wet and limp it was inedible, and they forgot the sauce we paid for which after reading their reviews they leave things out of many meals. There are several complaints regarding this. The rice was just mediocre and tasteless. It could definitely be compared to microwaveable rice from the grocery store. The chips were decent though, but I’m sorry it takes more than that. It just is not good food. That’s the bottom line. But here is the kicker, and please read further. When I wrote this very similar review on their justeat page, they came back with “it was a collection order so make sure you are on time. My husband was there FIVE minutes early. Do not try to blame the customer for your subpar, really bad food!!! And you didn’t even offer to refund for the missing sauce. So not only is your food bad, you’re thieves. Please order from anywhere but here. I look forward to seeing their reply. It’s a shame we can’t answer back on here."
