"Went to Giusi for Mother's Day as we wanted to stay local. Small and cosy restaurant, with a pleasant atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. Food, however, was mixed. Calamari starter was rubbery and, at nine pounds, not cheap. Spaghetti bolognese main was quite tasty, with good amount of meaty bolognese. Calves liver was rather tasteless and sinewy, with a large quantity of caramelised onions on top to provide the flavour. Mash was smooth though. Desert consisted of a pizza with nutella and strawberries, which was yummy. No wine or alcohol, so unable to comment on that. The bill came to seventy five pounds, which was what we'd have expected to pay in a much better restaurant. All in all, Giusi has all the ingredients of a lovely restaurant, but just falls short in quality, and very expensive for what it is. Think the pizza and pasta options are your best bet."

"The restaurant has a fantastic beachy atmosphere with sand and deck chairs, making it a great place to relax. The music on the Saturday we visited was more house music, but we think adding some hip hop or R'n'B would be a nice touch. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would definitely return."

"This was our third visit this year, and honestly, the restaurant is just mediocre. Leatherhead doesn’t have many good dining options, so we keep returning to this Italian place. This time, I started with an avocado, tomato, and mozzarella salad, but it had no flavor at all. For my main course, I ordered spaghetti vongole, but it was gritty, so I couldn't eat it. The owner did offer an alternative, but I just didn’t feel like eating anymore. My partner ordered a pizza, but unfortunately, the crust wasn’t crispy. We ended up paying and leaving without much satisfaction. I don’t think we’ll return again in the future."

"Give it a go.... I was a bit apprehensive about going to La Vita Spuntini having read some very mixed reviews however I really liked it. It 's a place to go for your 'tea ' as opposed to dinner (if you know what I mean) but the food was good and service quick it reminded me of La Tasca. I wouldn 't say it 's particularly cheap although we ordered more food than we needed. They recommend 3 or 4 dishes each but 5 between the two of us would have been enough, though that might depend on what you actually order. "I have eaten in so many Italian restaurants, my best friend is Italian and recently came with me to this place too. I have been here about 7-8 times over the past three years and every time they have gotten better and better. Every so often there will be a swing and a miss, I wouldn 't recommend the mushrooms on toast. But everything else, from the pizza to the moussaka to the sides, and starters, are just so homely, clearly made with love and made fresh. The staff are super friendly, sometimes a bit much, but it only makes you feel welcome. The service can be a tad slow on occasion, but then the environment is calm and relaxing and I can 't help but feel at ease here. The Italian restaurant across the road risoranto sorento have positive things to say about this place too and I am happy to go back. If you are happy to enjoy great portions, homely food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere, I recommend this place. I 'm going again tonight for my dad 's birthday :"

"Oh, my God, it was a year ago when we last visited. The food was then brilliant, but that was over any expectation. The sardines as an appetizer and the garlic and chili puwns that we were somehow divided excellent, I had the calf as my main with black olives and capers in a rich sauce, I am still dreaming of the other half had the seafood pasta, he would give me no taste when he embraced his bowl with a wide grin on his face, so took a hit. Dessert I had the lightest Tiramisu ever, he had I not know what, he would not tell me, but it was so delicious, he gave in the car on his way home he had just a sting in the desert menu, as had forgotten his glasses, but I am glad he did."

"Myself 8 friends visited on Sunday 17th Dec for a Christmas meal. Service was absolutely amazing considering we were a big group the restaurant was super busy. Really reasonably priced lovely food. They even came over at the end to offer us a complimentary shot of limoncello which was so kind! Will 100% be visiting again and urge anybody considering to go to do so!"

"one of my favorites in petersfield. free space is beautiful, eating amazing and a good selection of ale. very friendly staff. update: this is still my favorite audience and what my favourite place for pizza. this is no longer the case. the pizza base is not homemade and it is no longer a good place for pizza. If you want to eat the delicious toppings that the Queen’s head has to offer a cracker, then they will visit here well. really disappointed, as they stand out against all competitors on site. visit other facilities in the city for better quality pizza. here is a moment of pizza before. update: Queen’s head now makes a grill menu."

"mediocre. only 3 tables where we visited and service was still very slow. pleasant and accommodating, but slow. my first cure was ripening. they were fat and the sauce was ok. supposedlyly slowly boiled, so should be tender instead of chewing and fat. the second cure was the classic spaghetti and meatball. the meatballs of too much breadcrumbs, became stone and blanching. the sauce was casual. I left most of it. would have said the personal, unless nobody checked us. they were busy talking behind the bar. my wife found both her courses so that the 3 stars are excellent. I would have 1. much too expensive, bad service, do not eat at the price. 92 minutes for 2 courses. much too slow. very disappointing meal. would make my ordinary second visit as usual, but I would rather not."

"An excellent place. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there. That evening the bar had an event evening. Creative cuisine was on the program and what the team from the Alte Oberförsterei conjured up live was absolutely delicious and, on top of that, beautifully presented. The team was absolutely well-rehearsed and very friendly. The boss was very interested in the feedback from the guests and took a lot of time for it. "My wife and I, along with 2 of our friends, visited Zizzi’s, Bradford, on Friday 3rd of June (2022). It was early evening and the place was nearly empty . We were shown to our table and given menus. I chose a pizza which was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. Our waitress, a young Polish girl , was superb, very friendly, professional and smiley, exactly the kind of person that a restaurant needs. So many restaurants have waitresses and waiters that clearly hate their jobs and make for an unpleasant experience for the customers, the diners."

"Went for an evening meal with a couple of friends. Staff friendly, food lovely, restaurant is clean. Only reason for 4 stars is staff just automatically kept the change from my bill as a tip. It was £16 which is a lot to assume. We had to ask for the change back and they had no idea how much it was, which also seemed strange. Other than that, nice local restaurant and I will return. On a separate note, the Sunday dinner is delicious. Portions are huge and you get loads of meat! We get a Sunday dinner delivered quite regularly."
