"I ordered a rare steak, and it was cooked exactly how I like it. For starters, I had the scallops, which were delightful. On a quiet Sunday evening, the restaurant wasn’t very busy, and if I had to nitpick, I’d say the area where the cutlery was being refilled and the glasses were being cleaned could have been a bit tidier. However, this minor detail didn’t ruin our experience at all. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. While it's not the cheapest option, I believe you truly get what you pay for, and it was definitely worth it. I look forward to returning soon!"

"Is this part of the Al Forno chain or is it a franchise? If so it does not compare to the other Al Forno restaurants. Food was ok but presentation was poor. It was empty and the tables were dirty. Considering it was not busy service is minimal, the button to call works but this takes away from the experience there is no quality check and no up-selling took place. For that reason value for money is poor although not really expensive. A few people allowed of the street to sit and smoke not sure if anything was ordered this gives it a low end feel. Not as portrayed on your website."

"As most people do, we popped in for a quick meal prior to the theatre. Carlos our host and his colleagues were very welcoming and the food was spectacular. I had the spaghetti vongole one of the best ever and my girlfriend had the best chicken Kiev she said she has ever had. The tuna and the veal which our guests had also came highly recommended. The only negative is that our time there was much too short and we plan to visit again just for an evening out without any time constraints. Thank you Carlos and your family"

"Giusi for Mother's Day when we wanted to stay here. Small and cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. However, food was mixed. Calamari Starter was rubbery and, at nine pounds, not cheap. Spaghetti Bolognese main was quite delicious, with good amount of meaty Bolognese. The calf liver was quite tasteless and sour, with a large amount of caramelized onions above to offer the taste. Mash was smooth. The desert consisted of a pizza with mussels and strawberries, which was delicious. No wine or alcohol, so not able to comment on it. The bill came to seventy five pounds, which we would have expected to pay in a much better restaurant. All in all, Giusi has all the ingredients of a beautiful restaurant, but just falls in quality, and very expensive for what it is. Think the pizza and pasta options are your best bet."

"Had a great experience and a delicious meal on Saturday before theatre. Made to feel so welcome from a delightful lady.. (Don't know if she's the boss and if she isn't she should be). Nothing was too much trouble even when I asked for pineapple on my calzone pizza. She was very friendly and welcoming to our party of six. "I went with my Italian woman to ciao napoli to lunch in the last summer. the food was excellent and the service was also excellent. I want to go back. I was very surprised by the restaurant, it was my first time there. it is very atmospheric in an old building in a small room with beautiful old wood panel. it reminded me of the old town in edinburgh. a hidden gem in gray granite of the godless."

"We went to dinner on Friday after work with friends. At first, we thought it was pretty quiet for a Friday night, but the atmosphere picked up. The ambiance was lovely, very cozy and intimate, and the waiter who served us was very friendly, not intrusive but informative when needed. For starters, we all had a variety of dishes: pate della casa, antipasto della casa, salad, and eggplant parmigiana. For mains, we had a T-bone steak, classic pasta dish, and a delicious chicken romano dish. Overall, we were satisfied with our meals, the seasoning, and the flavors were great. However, my friends who had the steak were not overly impressed. They felt that the texture of the meat suggested it might have been frozen at some point, rather than fresh. Despite this, we had a nice dining experience and would consider coming back. Next time, we may stick to the authentic Italian dishes as this is an Italian restaurant, and they do them very well."

"Me and my 16 year old friend purchased a pizza yesterday evening after sitting up on Primrose Hill. Whilst waiting for the takeaway box (as we didn’t want to eat in), my friend accidentally knocked a pepper shaker off the table. As I was in the toilet at the time of the event, I had no idea it had even occurred. As i returned to the table, i was preparing to pay the bill and a male waiter starts aggressively asking me if I was also going to pay for the broken shaker. Stunned into silence at the fact this grown man was shouting at two clearly young girls in the middle of the restaurant, as well as the fact I hadn’t known what had happened, I couldn’t answer him. He proceeds to say ‘are you stupid? Am I speaking Chinese? Answer the damn question’ still shouting. A very kind female waitress proceeds to tell him I wasn’t present and it was my friend that broke the shaker. My friend apologised profusely as well as me, yet he continued to berate us until we left. If I had been at dinner with my parents and I accidentally knocked over a shaker, I am almost certain quite a scene would’ve never happened. It disgusts me that this restaurant believes they could treat two teenage girls as less than human, showing no compassion whilst we showed mountains of remorse. I actually really enjoyed the pizza but will never EVER be returning because of this treatment."

"We were dinning here a few days ago. Waiter was standing and looking at us the whole time. We ordered pasta dishes, could eat quarter of it as all was swimming in butter and fat. Worst part was a dessert, after we ordered the other waiter at the bar was heating all our puddings in the microwave behind the counter and looking all the time that noone sees what he is doing. "Excellent place to have great authentic Italian cuisine. This family friendly restaurant serves lovely food Staff are friendly and accomidate you needs very well. We were sat right next to the open kitchen and we watched then prepare and cook our pizzas. The chef was friendly friendly played along with our children. Including making then a dough crocodile. They enjoyed the experience very much. Food was reasonably priced. I didn't feel it was expensive. Maybe the wine. Parking is hard work. There's a pay and display behind the restaurant but it's the most ill designed car park with 10 cars trying to find a space and no room to turn around and manoeuvre. We had to sneakily park behind a shop. Anyway, overall a lovely place to eat."

"I booked this meal for my boyfriends birthday when booking our trip to Berlin. I had eaten at Jostys before and had a very enjoyable meal and I had checked the website for the same meal which I recommended to my boyfriend and our friends. When we were seated and given menus the menu presented to us was not reflective of the website and unfortunately as someone who is gluten intolerant I could not eat the majority of the menu. I was then offered the choice of fries or what seemed like a very overpriced steak dinner. Needless to say we left without eating. The waitress was very understanding and kind about the situation and stated that the restaurant menu had completely changed however the manager would not/has not changed the online menu. Very disappointed."
