"I have visited MB several times in the past and always had a pleasant experience. However, on my recent visit, I was disappointed to see that the menu only had two meat options (fish or chicken schnitzel) and was mainly focused on vegetarian and vegan dishes. When we tried to order the chicken, we were told they had run out. It was only 7:30, so it was surprising. Since none of the vegetarian options seemed enticing, we decided to leave and dine elsewhere. MB, please consider adding more meat options to your menu."

"a helpful young lady has cleaned a table for four of us. she informed us that the kitchen was going to end early, I said that it was good as we were just drinking and cake. we have set ourselves. so far everything is good. then another dame (probably the manager) came by, said the younger dame to offer us a table and informed us that we had to sit outside (where it began to rain) because they were short workers. even if that means that the personal should travel further to serve us! it was a very disappointing and quite unpleasant experience. like something from fawlty towers. she was disrespectful to her personal and her costumes. we have gone and are unlikely to be back. I don't want to spoil her call based on what might have been a bad day for a manager. but I should have been ashamed if I had treated people like that in my job."

"Participated in the Sushi Making class. Makiko is friendly, supportive and knowledgeable about all things sushi and Japanese cuisine. It was good to hear her story and career in the sushi world. She shared lots of helpful tips. We were able to make multiple different types of sushi with plenty to try! Would definitely recommend for couples."

"Staff lovely but… food used to be good before they changed chefs and over the last 12 months it’s become more disappointing, we used to really like coming here but we’ve now said we will keep away for a few months and then try again. Certain condiments not available because they had ran out. 2for£11 deal only available on about 6 meals. Their meals are not worth full price as one portions are not great and you could cook it better yourself at home. Also massive wait between starters and second meal. The main thing that got us was the foul language allowed by the people in the pub playing darts were we were eating and then the chef walking out of the kitchen to join them, his clothes were scruffy and filthy. Not what you want to see from the person who handles and cooks your food, as well the amount of people walking in and out the kitchen, pretty sure a couple were not staff. No professional at all, I know it’s a pub but seriously needs to improve its standards. When we left we all said “We should have just gone to McDonalds”. WE DON’T EVEN LIKE MCDONALDS."

"Brasserie of Light is a trendy and stylish restaurant located in Selfridges on Oxford Street. They have a variety of vegan and vegetarian options clearly labeled on the menu. My personal favorite was the vegan pea soup, which was outstanding. They also offered larger entrees, but I opted for the endive salad thinking it would be light - I was mistaken, as it was both substantial and delicious with a beautiful array of ingredients and flavors. The avocado-based dressing at the bottom of the salad was delightful. The sides I ordered were also very tasty. The interior of the restaurant was simply stunning."

"We ordered a pizza and a chicken burger along with our drinks at the restaurant. Surprisingly, the pizza was served in a pizza box. When I requested a plate, we were given two paper plates. Fortunately, we had two plates as I had to share the pizza, which had a nice flavor. Unfortunately, the chicken burger I ordered was served in a takeaway box. It consisted of an untoasted white bun with a small piece of chicken on a few pieces of lettuce drenched in mayonnaise. I was not satisfied with the burger and returned it for a refund. The staff member contacted her manager but was unable to authorize the refund. Despite multiple attempts, I was initially not refunded. After asserting myself politely, the £8 refund was finally given to me, and we left the restaurant."

"I have visited this restaurant several times and the food and service are always top-notch. However, I believe the prices for wine are extremely high. I ordered a large glass of house red wine and was charged £9, which was quite surprising. In comparison, a large glass of wine at a well-known French restaurant chain in the center of Nottingham is around £6.95. Even in supermarkets, a good Shiraz can be found for around £5-£6. Additionally, there didn't seem to be a house wine option, as all bottles were priced at £24, which is on the expensive side. This may be expected in a high-end London restaurant, but not in Bingham. I will not be ordering wine from this restaurant in the future, as the mark up seems excessive and takes advantage of customers."

"The George is a centrepiece of Cranbrook with fantastic facilities both indoors and out, unfortunately ruined by one of the most unpleasantly rude bar managers I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. We booked out the pub for the funeral wake of our best mate. From start to finish, the short haired blonde bar manager was entirely insensitive and disrespectful to without fail every single person that she served. I absolutely cannot stress enough how awkward the atmosphere became between this staff member and not just customers, but also her fellow colleagues who again, appeared to be taking the brunt of her aggression. I could not think of a worse personality for a job that revolves around customer service, it truly damages the reputation of an important establishment in Cranbrook."

"Beyond mediocre, ridiculously overpriced. £7.40 for a pint of Peroni! And IPAs over £8 a pint. Roasts tasted like school dinners, and they use stock photography on their website to make the food look good when it isn't – seen the exact same photos on other pub's websites. Also a terrible place to watch the football, despite trying to advertise as a Euros pub on social media. Overall, bad atmosphere, criminal pricing, a must-avoid for anyone with self respect."

"Had a great Laid-Back Wednesday with 5 of my favorite ladies. Enjoyed the ladies night package of 4 Sips and 1 appetizer. Dynamite Shrimp, Salmon taco, Fried Ika and the Kaia sweet potato fries were our favorites... and for the drink, ooooh!!! Soho Mule was the bomb!!! All of us loved it! We also ordered the JFC and the Hawaiian Chicken, they're okay, small portion though. But, what makes our night extra special was the warmth and efficacy of our servers Malek, Chulee and Nikolas. Hope Kaia trains more staff like them. They took good care of us and never missed a request or query. Very knowledgeable about their F&B products. Heartfelt thanks to the GM Gilberto, we love your hospitality and flexibility. The atmosphere was de-stressing and the crowd, wonderful. We really felt that it was a perfect place for us... So to everyone reading this, if you are looking for a short escape and wanna have a laid back evening, Wednesday night at Kaia The Ned is perfect! You will never go wrong!!! We will definitely be back at the Kaia... Every Wednesday probably! Cheers!"

"The food portions were huge, but unfortunately my steak was not cooked to my liking. The lasagna was a bit bland but still decent. The service was the biggest letdown of the night. We waited 15 minutes at the bar before being seated, and then waited an additional 25 minutes before even being acknowledged. It took 50 minutes for our food to arrive, and we were so frustrated that we almost left without eating. The waitresses spent a lot of time in the kitchen, neglecting to check on us or refill our drinks. Another table waited an hour just for their appetizer, so we decided to skip dessert. When we went to pay, we had to track down a server for assistance. It's disappointing because the food was okay, but the poor service ruined the overall experience. For a meal over £40, the level of service was unacceptable, especially since it was a special occasion. We left feeling awkward and regretful that we had spent so much money. We will not be returning to this restaurant."

"We were pointed in the direction of this lovely little restaurant by the owners brother and he was right. It was a gorgeous lunch in a lovely bright and welcoming dining room. For starters we just chose the garlic focaccia and it was delicious. I chose the steak, cooked to perfection along with greens and potato dauphinois all steaming hot. My sister had the duck, slightly pink and apparently very tender. There was a little wait in between the starters and mains but the serving staff apologised and offered us another glass of wine on the house, which we obviously accepted) but the wait wasn’t overly long. Would definitely return and no hesitation in recommending this restaurant."

"Visited with family and friends. 4 adults and 2 children, most vegetarian. There were a few choices for vegetarians which was nice , and when I emailed to ask about vegetarian children's dishes they were able to give me a list of things not even on the menu. It was fantastic my 6 year old had a choice of veggie nuggets, pizza, pasta, burger, and curry I think. The pizzas were really good, and apparently the fish amd chips was amazing, it was massive! The mushroom stroganoff was sadly very bland and watery which was a shame as it looked amazing! The veggie curry was OK bit again quite watery and whilst they were both edible, we wouldn't get them again. The hallumi poke bowl was nice but very small pieces of hallumi. Service was fantastic and we will return I'm sure."

"Practically inedible…even the fried rice! This is the take away I am reviewing not the restaurant…they are separate businesses. This was honestly the worst takeaway I have ever had and I like a take away! The duck spring roll starter was ok but I assume that is because the takeaway chef only had to heat this up. Three portions of fried rice were hard…the rice not even cooked and the chicken was cold. The curry sauce…oh my lord…I wanted to scrape the inside of my mouth out to get rid of the taste. Anyway…just to summarise…this is somewhere I will not be visiting again. It is the third chance I have given as I want to support local businesses but this latest experience is the final straw. Finally…the restaurant Yeung Sing is very good…please do not confuse the restaurant with the take away they are completely different businesses ."

"We stopped by on Friday night for dinner after exploring Bourton on the Water and had a great meal. My partner has a gluten intolerance and the staff were knowledgeable about which dishes could be adapted for her, allowing her to enjoy most of the menu. The food was delicious and portion sizes were generous. The staff were attentive and the service was excellent. We were fortunate to secure a table by the window, providing a lovely view of the town. It was a beautiful spot to unwind and savor our meal."

"My wife surprised me with a dinner out on a Monday evening and had booked a table for us at Aji Sushi. It was somewhere I had always passed and wanted to try but had never got round to it. I was a little unsure when we arrived as there was only one other table of people eating, although it is small inside. My doubts were very quickly dismissed though as the sushi was spectacular!!! We had a wide array of different roles from spicy tuna to mother of dragon. Every single one was incredible. We had a glass of wine each, some edimame to start and then so much beautiful sushi. It was all made completely fresh to order and was presented very well (see my photos). I would highly, highly recommend anyone who likes sushi to try here and best of all it was not to expensive. Really worth a visit!"
