The George Cranbrook Brasserie

The restaurant had excellent food and a fantastic staff. We were promptly served our dinner and received top-notch service from Frankie, Angela, Kyle, and Sam. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

I enjoy going to The George Hotel. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent. There are ample seating options both indoors and outdoors, as well as plenty of parking available. I would give it a 5 out of 5 for service and location.

OMG! What a find, food was excellent, drinks menu very good. Accommodation out of this world. We managed to get the Crimson room which contains the most amazing four poster bed I have ever seen. The woman at the bar, with a haircut resembling Boris Johnson, made me feel very uneasy and was extremely rude to my friends. Resembling a young Macaulay Culkin from 2015, she probably frightens off guests often. This behavior was very unprofessional! Avoid this place at all costs! Yesterday, we originally stopped by the pub for a quick drink but ended up staying for dinner. The staff was incredibly friendly, efficient, and accommodating. With three children in tow, including two-year-old twins, and my own gluten-free dietary restrictions, everything was handled wonderfully. The food was fresh and delicious, making it a great spot for diners of all ages and dietary needs.

The George pub is a lovely establishment, but unfortunately, we had a negative experience with a blonde woman with tattoos who was incredibly rude to us when we gathered there after my best friend's funeral. She even refused to allow one of my friends who works at The George to attend the funeral. This behavior shocked everyone, as it showed a lack of sensitivity towards young people after experiencing such a heartbreaking loss. Rooms: 5 Service: 1 Location: 5

Not happy at all with the level of service from the George last night. The lady behind the bar with the short hair and tattoos was extremely insensitive towards us and our reason for being there. Not only that but there were multiple occasions in the night where she was rude. People of all ages had issues with her showing her incompetence and lack of people skills. The George is a lovely establishment but is ruined by her presence. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and this is causing an issue. Otherwise lovely

Stayed at George hotel for one night during the week found the bed very comfortable but the room needs a tidy up stains on carpet and towel holder Is not secured properly plus chips in bottom of bath I found the breakfast not good I had cooked breakfast and when I Went to eat my scrambled eggs and beans where just warm an were very rubbery I asked for them to be heated up they took the plate away when It was returned I tryed it the eggs were no warmer not hot and beans were the same I pretty well gave up after that It would be the worst cooked breakfast I have had on our 4 month holiday to UK Would not recommend this place

The George is a centrepiece of Cranbrook with fantastic facilities both indoors and out, unfortunately ruined by one of the most unpleasantly rude bar managers I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. We booked out the pub for the funeral wake of our best mate. From start to finish, the short haired blonde bar manager was entirely insensitive and disrespectful to without fail every single person that she served. I absolutely cannot stress enough how awkward the atmosphere became between this staff member and not just customers, but also her fellow colleagues who again, appeared to be taking the brunt of her aggression. I could not think of a worse personality for a job that revolves around...
