"The staff were really well prepared for the reopening. Our waiter could not have been more helpful. He even showed us how to claim our free drink on the app. The food, drink and music were perfect. Sadly because we knew cash wouldn’t be accepted we took none and there was no way for us to tip the waiter via the app or card machine! They will accept cash for tips so I’d be prepared next time as they really deserved it!"

I was greeted by annunziata and then served by the Slovak manager, whom I do not remember the names, but was supercompetent and always looking at me. if they are alone usually tables tend to overlook them, but this time was not the case. I ordered the special of the day, a dessert and a coffee. Waiting times were for what was cooked, and the staff is attentive to everything that goes on the floor. only small cons is the toilet of the herrn has a window in which people can go after what business they do. I will either set a ventilation and close the window or use something else. the prices are good and the steingebackene pizza is superior to the other in the city. also a hauch of class does not immediately charge the 20% up, but let them know that everything goes up in tips straight to waiter. that is a really classy and all business should take note. make one like and taste this restaurant when they live here."

"This was such a surprising find I would Definitely recommend anyone to have a fun lunch or dinner, the place is an authentic Sicilian food wine experience it is a small cosy restaurant downstairs (with other seating available upstairs), we opted for the TRIP TO SICILY experience (a wine pairing with food) the staff work hard at their craft as they have to explain in great detail the wines (generous pourings) that compliment the food platter, they are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, professional friendly and it was very relaxed at the same time my friend and I had plenty of time to have a long overdue catch up, we had adorable Chloe who looked after us very well, while busy with other diners climbing the steep stairs with empty plates and glasses, she is most definitely and asset to this lovely restaurant, I would have no hesitation visiting again, 10/10 !"

"My friend and I had the loveliest 4 hours here last night. Such a warm welcome from Sandra on arrival, who was very attentive and patient all evening. The food was delicious, just gorgeous. We both had a pasta dish each, salad, aubergine stew side, bread and tapenade, all were very reasonably priced and very high quality. Being given a little taste of the wine before we chose, was a very nice touch that not many places do anymore, we appreciated that. It had a relaxed and vibrant feel. Raphael checked on us a few times, and even reassured us at the end of the night that we didn't need to rush off! And Antonio the chef chatted to us too. It was such a lovely welcoming place that we have determined to go back again soon, and highly recommend to anyone to do the same."

"Much as I love Italian food, I hadn 't known about the 'tigella '. It 's a small, round 'bun ', perfect for sandwiches and burgers and all sorts............. They are smallish, true and staff remind customers of that. I 'd imagine that a hungry person might order two and that 'd be great value for a main course. The ravioli with spinach was perfect, really delicate and full of flavour. Cocktails well, we 'd had a tough hour or two looking at art an excellent espresso martini, and a 'Hugo ' no, we had no idea either, so it was an experiment...........lovely, fresh and zingy. I think the habit of having black white, silent films on a huge screen is a bit cliched, and adds nothing to the provenance of the place. Maybe showing a [muted] Italian film La Dolce Vita? Staff are great. We 'll be back."

"We had to wait about 50 minutes for our food, even the guests at the side table did so. You apologised, not with us. We had the oriental chickpea curry with tofu and the Asian vegetables wok with tofu. On both courts were 5 tofu cubes. If I look at how much beef is in comparison with the dishes, I feel a little less favoured than vegans. In the Kichererbsencurry there was no spinach to see what I was addressing directly. The service asked the cook responsible for the curry and wok dishes (open kitchen) and came back with the explanation that the baby spinach was processed in the sauce. That's what I feel. I'm not blind. It was not to see a little green in the whole curry. On the picture on the Internet you can see the baby spinach clearly. Tastefully the curry was rather faded, the sauce of the wok had a addictive effect, which makes me think of glutamate, otherwise everything fresh from the vegetables. Naan bread was delicious. As dessert, we had been looking forward to the vegan dairy with strawberry sauce, to which we were told that there was generally no more, he was unfortunately still standing on the map ahja (also on the internet), then I come back to the table again. The homemade herbalist was much too sweet to both of us. The service was friendly and helpful. Probably we just had bad luck this evening, unfortunately the holiday is around and it was always very fast booked out the days before. Reservation is recommended in high season."

"On a recent visit to Leeds, we'd done the Xmas shopping and fancied a drink inside somewhere we were walking along and accidentally discovered this place what a gem! The house wines were very, very good and after ordering just drinks, we were also treated to a small, freshly made platter of bread sticks, cheese and salami. We sat in the window seats and watched the city life go by while enjoying the wines. If there's anything to say that isn't positive, it'd be that the lighting was, in our opinion, too bright and needed turning down a little. But that shouldn't detract from what was a fantastic discovery. We'll be back the next time we're in Leeds!"

"excellent, was there for a family dinner that celebrated the birthday of my sister. service excellent, staff very friendly and professional. the meals were first class, with me an Italian inherit, I am fussy in my choice of Italian restaurants, I was once in front of here and the service was excellent and kitchen first class. the only disappointment was that I couldn't get my canoli as their refrigerator broke off, only ice was available, but overall, excellent price and will finally return,"
