Fresh tomatoes sliced and layered with mozzarella, finished with basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

"The staff were really well prepared for the reopening. Our waiter could not have been more helpful. He even showed us how to claim our free drink on the app. The food, drink and music were perfect. Sadly because we knew cash wouldn’t be accepted we took none and there was no way for us to tip the waiter via the app or card machine! They will accept cash for tips so I’d be prepared next time as they really deserved it!"

"David, the head chef, was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. He took the time to visit our table and ensure we were satisfied with our orders. I have never encountered a head chef who was as engaging as he was this evening. The experience with both the head chef and the waiter, including their wine recommendations, was delightful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for exceptional service and a delicious dinner. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"I really enjoy Pizaza! I am grateful that it is located within walking distance of my home. The food is amazing and since it is kosher, there are plenty of options to choose from."

"I made a last-minute booking on a Saturday evening at this restaurant. It was fairly busy with a pleasant and lively atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, it was a pleasant experience."

"My wife and I have been going to Posillipo in Canterbury for the past seven years, and in that time no other establishment has been able to usurp its preeminence as our favourite restaurant in the city. Any reviewers who complain about the quality of the food (especially the pizzas and the homemade pasta dishes) are most likely not accustomed to authentic Italian cuisine. As a man of Italian descent (and with the whole-hearted agreement with my genuine Italian friends in Canterbury), I maintain that Posillipo offers the best, most authentic Italian food in the area. As is often the case with real Italian restaurants, the menu is also very reasonably priced. The staff is superb, always making my wife and I feel like honoured guests, attentively seeing to our needs, and never making us feel in any way rushed. The restaurant is conveniently located in the centre of town, close to both the cathedral and the Marlowe Theatre. In short, I cannot recommend this establishment enough, and I always find it difficult to understand why anyone would pass up Posillipo for one of the mediocre (at best) pseudo-Italian chains that populate the High Street."

"that was the second time that we had visited for the Sicilian wine tasting, the first was so good. we traveled from some to chester only for this meal, and booked a hotel close to us so that we could retire in our free time. we arrived at 18.45 clock and were a Wednesday evening, it was quite quiet and we got a window table to watch the chester drift at night. we were not rushed, the weeping and eating were excellent as expected, and we went around 21.45 this is a good opportunity to taste the weeping of sicily, the staff is really great and very welcome well made young, they are exceptional!"

"My friend and I had the loveliest 4 hours here last night. Such a warm welcome from Sandra on arrival, who was very attentive and patient all evening. The food was delicious, just gorgeous. We both had a pasta dish each, salad, aubergine stew side, bread and tapenade, all were very reasonably priced and very high quality. Being given a little taste of the wine before we chose, was a very nice touch that not many places do anymore, we appreciated that. It had a relaxed and vibrant feel. Raphael checked on us a few times, and even reassured us at the end of the night that we didn't need to rush off! And Antonio the chef chatted to us too. It was such a lovely welcoming place that we have determined to go back again soon, and highly recommend to anyone to do the same."

"Lovely staff, we were well looked after. Amazing food, Tigelle were amazing, the meat platter as well which included a superb Parma Ham, felino salami and mortadella. We were really impressed of the atmosphere, we asked for a specific table and they provided us one. I really recommend and I look forward to coming again."

"we had to wait about 50 minutes for our food, and the guests at the table did that. we had the oriental kicherbsencurry with tofu and the Asian plant wax with tofu. on both were 5 tofu cubes. when I look at how much beef compared to what is done, I feel a little less than vegan. in the kicherbsencurry was not a spinat to see what I had addressed directly. the service asked the cook responsible for the curry and wok dishes (open kitchen) and came back with the statement that the babyspinate was processed in the sauce. I feel like me. I'm not blind. it wasn't a matching tent green to see in the whole curry. on the image in the internet you see the babyspinate clearly. The curry was rather faded, the sauce from wok had a addictive effect that makes me think of glutamat, otherwise everything fresh from the sweet. the naan brot was delicious. as we had searched for the vegan milk rice with a strawberry sauce, on which we were told that there was generally no more, he was unfortunately still standing on the map ahja (also in the internet), then I come back to mine. the homemade criminal tee was much too sweet for both of us. the service was friendly and helpful. probably we had just badly tonight, unfortunately the holiday is around now and the days were always very fast booked out. reservation is recommended in high season."

"Very disappointing tbh. Some of the staff, not all, really quite abrupt and no one really made an effort to seat us upon arrival despite booking in advance. We were told simply to have table back for a certain time. The food was average at best. Nothing was particularly fresh or had much flavour. I noticed kitchen staff taking bags of supermarket salad to kitchen and the filled pasta I ordered was no better than that you would buy in a packet out a supermarket either. My main was lukewarm and not a very big portion or well presented. The waitress snatched my mums plate away as soon as she put her cutlery down after her main. Find this very off putting and all felt very rushed. The desserts on offer looked shop bought and nothing really had an authentic feel to it. Appreciate it was a Saturday evening prior to the theatre beginning and restaurant was busy but wouldn't be in a rush to go back have had much better meals in Edinburgh City centre. We booked for the location next to theatre and left feeling very disappointed and both had upset stomachs later in evening. Overall quite poor."

"On a recent visit to Leeds, we'd done the Xmas shopping and fancied a drink inside somewhere we were walking along and accidentally discovered this place what a gem! The house wines were very, very good and after ordering just drinks, we were also treated to a small, freshly made platter of bread sticks, cheese and salami. We sat in the window seats and watched the city life go by while enjoying the wines. If there's anything to say that isn't positive, it'd be that the lighting was, in our opinion, too bright and needed turning down a little. But that shouldn't detract from what was a fantastic discovery. We'll be back the next time we're in Leeds!"

"italian'? Not really... Good food? Only if you have the lowest of the standards... Friendly staff? Only if you are a hardcore masochist... We ended up by accident to Fanelli's and to say we were not impressed would be an understatement! I cannot recall one...menu item which was actually tasty or worth its money. The pizza was soogy and the mushroom risoto so full of huge pieces of garlic that I was so disgusted I had to send it back. Dreadful quality of pasta and overall ingredients with little reference to real Italian receipes. I am not sure if the food or the staff was the worst part of the experince... So rude, inpolite and slow. Truth to be told, the place was understaffed but that is not an excuse to be rude to a group of ten people who will leave you a substantial amount of money. Any positive review about this place makes me loose faith in humanity."
