Also, not particularly impressed with COViD precautions menus were not disposable and shared between tables with no wiping or sanitisation. "Long wait time, food was only ok, chicken avo toastie took mins to arrive with no apology or pre warning that it would take that long when they weren’t obviously busy. The sweet potato fries were for a small bowl of frozen chips...that would have cost about at cost. To top it off, I had to pay prior to receiving my food, so couldn’t even take off the service charge which was slapped on the bill, but not stated on the board. I expected a little more based on trip advisor reviews."

"I have visited here around the times and look forward to the pina coladas by dredging the barkeeper. He must have known how to make them perfect. I have visited many bars and there is always a handle somewhere, but not. here was eating fantastic and the service of dredging brad was excellent. can't wait to visit again when I'm here for the weekend."

"This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered a takeaway from here. The first time I was disappointed because the nachos were 90% corn chips, 5% chicken and 5% sauce. I thought I was just unlucky. This was in October. Last night I gave it another chance and ordered a rice box. Nothing like the picture on the website. You’re lucky if you get a teaspoon of each of the ingredients you order and even some of them were completely missing. In phoned and complained. As it was a delivery through JustEat they told me to take it up with them and didn’t accept any responsibility. JustEat do not prepare the order! Absolutely flabbergasted and will never order from them again. Total rip off. Avoid!"

"The restaurant has a charming ambiance and is aesthetically pleasing. The food was decent/good, but the service was lacking. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes to receive our food, and we had to ask three times for water before it was brought to us. It seemed like there were not enough staff members, as more and more customers kept coming in. Several groups of people had to wait for extended periods of time. The establishment should consider limiting the number of patrons if the staff is struggling to keep up with the demand."

"I always visit this restaurant when in St Ives, to me, it’s perfect! Everything you could possibly wish for in a restaurant the Mex delivers. The food is fresh and truly delicious, actually mouthwatering, service attentive and extremely friendly, good portion sizes and reasonably priced. We have started visiting twice each holiday, think it’s going to be upped to 3 as nothing else comes close. If you like Mexican food (surely everyone likes at least fajitas? this is an absolute must so book yourself in and enjoy. Thank you Mex, we love our visits and will definitely be back next holiday."

"we went to las iguanas on lakeside on Monday bank holiday 31. May 2021. Although it was very busy, we were able to book a table for an hour and half, so we hanged around the shopping center until our time was up. the staff was very friendly and welcoming. eating was very good and a good value for money. I didn't go to enjoy getting a free deal on the cocktails, but will go back definately as they looked very good. if at all, I would say that the muisc was quite loud, but that did not affect our experience and the whole family was quite happy."

"We had the Celebration menu. which was great value at £19.95 for 2 courses and a drink. There had been a run on Bottomless Brunch over the weekend and they had no Cava left however we were given a substitute of House White wine which was fine. Nachos starter was very generous portion and lovely.Chicken quesadilla tasty but a bit sloppy. MOQUECA DE PEIXE was delicious. XinXim was tasty but a little bland probably a good option for kids or people who don't want a fiery dish. Finished with Churros from the dessert menu which were lovely. Enjoyable meal. Friendly service. Ideal for Pre Theatre dining experience."
