"Best bar ever! Even especially) during COVID restrictions! All of the staff were epic, I could even charge my phone at the charging port, the food was top qual, and Gabriella was a super star! They’re open, they’re brilliant, and they aren’t too pricey! Angel...pub of choice, far and away."

"We stopped for lunch and found it to be quite expensive. The chips had the skins on, which wasn't to my liking as I prefer them without skins. Parking is limited, especially during the busy summer months, with few spaces available. The restaurant is just wide enough to accommodate a large wheelchair, but the narrow pavement outside the entrance can be a bit challenging. The price per person ranges from £1 to £10."

"My boyfriend and I went here for dinner on Saturday evening as its close to our hotel and had quite good reviews. My pasta was lovely, my boyfriends pie was also great, but his vegetables were sparse and rubbery sadly. When we asked for the bill, the staff member bought the card payment to the table on the 'add gratuity ' screen. There was no amount visible so we had no idea how much we were being charged, and he didn 't bring the bill either! I asked to see the bill again and he pressed 'no ' to gratuity so I could see the amount being charged, but thats not the same as seeing the bill. So I went to the bar to ask yet again for the bill. Finally they printed off the bill so I could see the breakdown of our order and check it was correct. It was correct, but they had added a service charge already, so frankly it was deceitful to try and get me to add a gratuity when one was already added to the bill. Very disappointed"

"A real hidden gem! The atmosphere is lovely, situated in the crypts below Huddersfield Parish Church creates a cozy space for a relaxed brunch. There is also seating outside with great views of the church itself. The food was gorgeous, and reasonably priced for a luxury experience. There's a great range of food suitable for any meal, breakfast, brunch, lunch, even afternoon tea! They also have a little food shop in the entrance with local brands of sweets, biscuits and various jams and sauces."

"I attended an event here in July. I have since received a county court letter before claim for parking in the FREE car park. the website states nothing about the parking accept that the car park is free and there was nothing clear to me at the car park itself or inside on attending the event to say that the free car park was somehow being used as a money making scheme for a parking firm. I would not go to this hotel again, only to be aggressively pursued by a third party parking company for months afterwards."

"Was hoping to find a nice cheese fondue place. The food was good not great, Ive had better and the melted cheese was cold on arrival had to send back. Unfortunately we couldn’t get red wine by the glass which was my preference on a cold night. Champagne doesn’t have the same effect. There were also strict rules on ordering before 8:30pm, so before finishing our main were being asked to order if we wanted anything else, and if we did to order it immediately as the kitchen would be closing. In general, we had a nice time but there was nothing the stood out about the experience, was all just ok and cost more than £60 for 2 drinks and a shared cheese dish. I would also prefer to have service not added to the bill unless asked, this is my viewpoint on all restaurants that automatically include it. It should be discretionary based on service, not an expectation added to the bill. Not planning a return visit."

"Overall afternoon tea at Feya was good. We were greated by a very polite lady who offered us a seat in the ‚bird cage’ area. The food was great, delicious platter of sweets and canapes, large selection. I have ordered a jasmin tea. It was a tea from a bag (not loose leaves which was a bit dissappointing). The tea teasted nothing like the jasmin, more like grass??? Even the water did not change the colour, so I can tell it was a poor quality tea bag. I’ve ordered a latte at an extra cost, which was very good. The waiting time was 55 min, my friend already finished her coffee. Service was slow, I understood we were forgotten for around 30min and people who came after us were served their AFT first. A bit sad as it was my friend’s birthday celebration, which I have mentioned while booking reservation. The toilet was not super clean. Lots of dust on the walls and in nooks and crannies, definitely a room for improvement."

"The staff at this restaurant are delightful, funny, and hospitable. However, don't expect quick service when it comes to paying, especially during busy times. The espresso is delicious. The cakes are also tasty but quite expensive, especially if you have a food intolerance or allergy. For example, a gluten-free and vegan slice of cake cost us £12, without any drinks included. I would consider going back, but only after saving up some money."

"Bert’s jazz bar is located at the gorgeous Merchant Hotel in the centre of Belfast. The hotel recommended Bert’s. It did not disappoint, we only went here for drinks. We were given a table right near the front and service was as good. So we’re the cocktails. Friendly staff. From what I could see of the food being served it looked nice. The ambience was chilled. Bert’s has live jazz through the week and it was a Sunday night visit which was busy and had fabulous music so we went again Monday and Tuesday, Great jazz singers! It was an intimate, cosy and casually sophisticated setting.Perfect for us to relax after our celebratory 25th anniversary meal.Highly recommend!"

"Had my first ever luxury manicure, luxury pedicure and full body massage here today. It is warm and welcoming from entry to finish. Staff are very polite and made me feel very comfortable throughout my treatments. Absolutely loving my nails! And the massage was extremely relaxing and helpful to learn that I had very tight muscles in some areas. The masseuse spoke to me about stretching out my muscles before workouts, which was nice to hear she was taking an interest in making me feel better. I enjoyed the whole experience and even though it was my first, I feel I wouldn't need to go anywhere else for future treatments! A very nice added extra was that I was a bit hungry after all that pampering, and on my receipt they gave me 20% off at the cafe downstairs! Brilliant service throughout and couldn't recommend it more! Thank you to all at another level medispa and cafe, it was wonderful!"

"My wife and I were given a groupon voucher for a Luxury afternoon tea as a special surprise gift. Booking was straight forward with open table website, this I would recommend. We booked for 13.00 Monday this week, our table was ready, only two other tables were occupied so were seated immediately. Staff were very courteous and obliging and took our order straight away, on viewing the close vicinity of our table, the table next to us had been recently vacated so was laden with empty pots which were cleared after about 10 minutes and quickly wiped over, leaving a large smear of stale dessert along the edge of the table, possibly not from the last customers judging by the cleaning expertise. Our table had wet rings with crumbs obviously cleaned by the same method. The after noon tea arrived fairly promptly and looked and tasted delicious, let down by table ware, the two tea pots were ready for scrapheap one looked quite dangerous with a handle cracked at top joint with pot and tea stained, the others spout was largely chipped and again tea stained, both teaspoons had tea stains, I would not expect this from a back street Café. Considering this is advertised as Luxury , charging a luxury price, this easily remedied standard falls well below par. Having said that the quality of food was very good, the ambiance wasn 't as expected after seeing the website which shows beautifully lit chandeliers with a Grand piano music, and soft furnishing, which makes it look something really special to accompany the £36 list price, it doesn 't really justify even the groupon half price."

"I have been a customer of this restaurant for years whenever I am in the area. It just dawned on me the other day while chatting with the owner that I have never left a review. This place is highly rated, offering excellent value for tea and coffee as well as a wide variety of delicious toasted sandwich options. It's the perfect place to take a break when in Gloster."

"This is a very strange establishment. I visited with a group of friends who wanted the authentic Indian experience; what we got was a wait of almost a whole hour for mediocre food, despite being the only patrons. The venue was far too hot and a few of us had to step outside during our meal to cool down. Despite being the only people in attendance, we were not waited on. We were only provided with a single round of drinks (non-alcoholic only) and so we quickly made it through the few bottles of room-temperature water placed on our table. For any further requirements, we had to go and seek out a member of staff. We also had to locate the waitress when we wanted to pay, after realising nobody was coming to check on us."

"I don’t normally like to leave a bad feedback but I find if you don’t know your behaviour wasn’t acceptable how can you know to change it. I visited with a friend yesterday for a long overdue catch up, arriving just after 11am. We should have taken the tearoom being empty as a sign but we were more interested in catching up. We didn’t get the most friendliest of welcomes and then we were pushed to order. When my friend said we’d just be getting drinks, that seemed to be a relief as the lady said she would be busy doing Sunday lunches. Whilst having our catch up hints were being dropped for us to leave and then the lady blatantly put the bill down and said she needed the table! My friend was going to pay and asked the lady if she took cards, and it was a rather curt reply of no followed by there is a sign in the window! I really should have taken my change as a tip was not deserved but I just wanted to get out of there. My friend felt exactly the same. Had the lady being welcoming and told us from the outset that she would need the table by 12 we could have had the option to go elsewhere. I really wished we had and I’m sorry to say I won’t be back. I’ve never been made to feel so unwelcome in all my life!"
