What made me appreciate the place even more is how the manager brought out all the staff to wish my wife a happy birthday after saying it would be difficult due to a busy night. "Amazing. I recently took my mother to the Crazy Bear on Saturday last week for her birthday surprise. I have to say we both really enjoyed it. I was a lovely girlie evening. On arrival we were met by the hostess, who was all smiles and made us feel so welcome. She promptly took our coats and we were escorted downstairs to the bar for pre-dinner drinks. We sat at the bar where we were instantly handed a drinks menu by a hunky bar tender, named Santi I believe? Ladies, you have to meet this guy, he is gorgeous and makes a mean Martini! "I have visited this restaurant several times and will be returning with new friends who all enjoyed it as much as I did! They offer a wide variety of affordable vegan options, especially during their 50% off lunch menu. If you are dining with both vegans/vegetarians and meat eaters, I would suggest not opting for the all-you-can-eat sushi deal as it has less variety for non-vegans, though still good. The staff is always polite and efficient, never had any issues. Just remember to treat others, including the staff, with respect and you will have a great time. I only had a minor issue (which happens to the best of us), but it was quickly and politely resolved by speaking with an employee. Be mindful of your order as leftovers cannot be taken home. I highly recommend this place and look forward to bringing someone else along next month!"

"Great food. Great sushi and sashimi options. Nonetheless, they have a newly expanded Korean food option, not to mention they play loads of K-pop. Very spicy for traditionalist, and they’re able to make mild flavors as well for the timid amongst us. Even though most clients sit there on their phones, people are friendly and open, and even the staff are not distracted on their phones, like most places, making us feel even more welcome. "the local loves this place and from good ground. warm, welcoming service and excellent, high quality food. the tables for eating are naturally at a distance and the ambiente of the restaurant is really chilled and relaxed, just perfect. we ordered a mix of sushi selections. for this time remove . it was super fresh, the sashimi was “melting in her mouth” tender and the rice was tender and sticky and light. we enjoyed a green tee while we waited for the cute young to put it together. a totally authentic experience with fresh and tasty eating. "This was my first visit and for my first visit, I brought alone my family and best friend and his family. As we all love Japanese food, our expectation was high. There was a great selection to choose from which also caters for people who is not a Sushi fan with rice, noodles and BBQ meals. The service was great, not too short, where you keep asking for more time, and not too long where you wished you went somewhere else. The food arrived hot and very well presented and you best come hungry as there is plenty of it. The Sushi is really fresh and very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant for value for money, great food and friendly surrounding."

"Neighborhood sushi connection in stoke newington. we went as a coward on the new year evening to the early evening dinner before the family all distributed to their respective parties. the personal was on the ball and the sushi was very good and inventive. the decor is quite simple, but still comfortable and in general it had an inviting mood. our waitress was covered with dids, but it is stoke newington and she was on the ball with service. highly recommended."

"Vegan options are in somerset in the regular limited and although they sell meat here, ebisu clearly mark vegetarian and vegan options on their menu. After a day in wsm we have a take. I would probably recommend to sit and eat instead of taking away if possible, as I always think that something is lost in taste when stumbled into a box. Nevertheless, eating was great, it didn't necessarily feel authentic japanese in terms of lightness, but it tasted everything really good. will definitely come back, but next time they sit back and it was as good as the first time if not better! updated by the previous review on 2021-09-19"

"during the kovid we were forced to go to clifton instead of zanzibar and the experience on par we were obliged to go to the best restaurants in the opposite. noa ended on our radar thanks to a friend's recommendation and we came here twice in a week. eating was absolutely incredible. the highlight was the drachenrolle, I must have eaten four of them during a week. an unforeseen Japanese restaurant in a romantic part of the city and gives the best Japanese restaurant I have visited in the last 10 years. unexplained thanks to the kitchen staff."

"Fantastic little sushi restaurant in Stockbridge with an absolutely amazing atmosphere, really recommend getting one of the sushi sets purely for the plate in the shape of a boat! My only gripe is that they don’t accept card payement, was a hassle finding a machine and then having to police how much we could spend there, really hope they offer a form of electronic payment in the future, And my only other gripe was the wine being served in a tumbler, took away a lot of the flavours of the wine, But regardless of these the fish was fresh and the gyoza delicious"

"Extremely horrible customer service. I ordered through their website to collect from Grays Inn, for which I received an e-mail confirming the order and pick-up location. Once I arrived to the place, I was told they had not received my order. I called the phone...number in the e-mail to be told that they only offer collection from their Marylebone branch, despite their website allowing me to choose Grays Inn, and that I had to go all the way to collect it from there. After rejecting walking for another hour, they told me to ask the Grays Inn branch to call them. The staff at Grays Inn did not manage to contact them in minutes although it took me only another minute to do so from my phone and put them in touch through my personal cell phone. When I finally got the order from the Grays Inn branch where I had been waiting for already minutes, the employee told me they were doing me a favor only for this time, as if it was my fault that their website sells services they can't fulfil! Unbelievable! When I thought nothing else could go wrong, I got home to open my package and discover they hadn't added a single sachet of soy sauce. Overall, terrible experience with even worse customer service. Last time I order from them."

"We organised a karaoke party for a group of 12 year old girls on Sunday afternoon 3 July and they absolutely loved it. It was the only place in town that did karaoke for kids and families. Our host Ivy made the karaoke room warm and inviting and for the girls it felt really authentic and special. There was plenty of food and drinks included in the price and all of it was delicious. The girls enjoyed singing their favourite songs, eating together and being looked after so well by Ivy and her team. Whilst the girls enjoyed their space we parents sat downstairs and enjoyed a tasty set menu box. I had the Gyosa with skewered veg and my husband the tempora which was hot and tasty. The cost per head for the party was good value for money and was very relaxed. Yes there was a 10% service charge which is pretty common now, and we were happy to pay it because we'd received such care and attention to everything. I'd recommend Obento for family, kids, parties it's a really fun way to share an experience together with good company and super tasty food. Thank you to everyone at Obento for making our party so amazing, the girls were raving about it !!!!! I've included a pic of the set up, this was before I added some party banners, balloons. There is a sunken table lit from beneath which looks great"

"the best japaners in the opposite; tasty eating, cheap, great service they can not ask for much more. I went on a Sunday afternoon in the afternoon when it was quite quiet, and had a lot of straightened (all pictured). the service was fast and friendly, and offered advices to menu points. the sushi tasted fresh, the curry was unique and tasteful, and the bark was so good I would recommend it very much. for two people with a decent amount of sushi, two meals and a drink each (a tea, a beer,) it came to £40, not bad at all. overall, they try hibagon when they are in the opposite, it is good to travel."

"ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! From the minute we got to the door the service was atrocious! The girl on the door has a chip on her shoulder speaking to us terribly! We booked an outdoor table and were places upstairs inside with the very loud music. We asked to move and were told there wasnt any space?? We ordered 2 bottles of prosecco and 5 glasses. We received the bottles and 2 glasses and the waiter walked away? After trying to catch someone to solve the situation we got up and left without even breaking the seal on the prosecco. We WILL NOT be returning! Hard Rock Cafe was happy to have us with actual customer service skills!"
