"This was my first visit and for my first visit, I brought alone my family and best friend and his family. As we all love Japanese food, our expectation was high. There was a great selection to choose from which also caters for people who is not a Sushi fan with rice, noodles and BBQ meals. The service was great, not too short, where you keep asking for more time, and not too long where you wished you went somewhere else. The food arrived hot and very well presented and you best come hungry as there is plenty of it. The Sushi is really fresh and very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant for value for money, great food and friendly surrounding."

Really nice staff and great food sushi is a bit pricey but it’s sushi so that’s not much of a surprise! A great place for special occasions

The dining experience was pleasant, and the ambiance was enjoyable. However, the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so the staff could have been a bit more attentive.

Akasaka is an excellent dining option in Milton Keynes. They offer a great selection of wine, beer, and traditional Japanese beverages. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. During busy times, there might be a slight wait for your food, but aside from that, everything is delightful. View menu

This is a wonderful restaurant for special occasions. The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. You really feel welcomed here, and the staff is very attentive. There's a great selection on the menu with plenty of options to try. While it is a bit pricey, the quality justifies the cost.

eating was nice, but very different from the Japanese food we are used from Australian Asia. it was a bit different taking the classic, for example the curry was served deconstructed and had to be mounted. the seafood yakisoba was nice, but I could say that the seafood was previously frozen and not fresh. for the money, I would have expected to eat something better. the service was variable, the girl was really good and friendly. the kerl was really lost and stared in the distance more than he served customers. no bad experience, but not necessarily coming back.

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
