"We arrived at the restaurant after booking online earlier that day. We had to wait for about 5 minutes until the waitress finally acknowledged our presence. She did the same thing to some American tourists as we were leaving, snapping at them to just wait. Just before seating us, we were informed that they did not accept Tesco vouchers at this restaurant, despite not being told about this when booking. The food was not enjoyable, with my risotto rice still being crunchy. One of the bar/waitresses was friendly, but the other ignored our starter plates while she was texting on her phone. When I looked at the chef, he asked her to clear the plates, but she replied that she would do it in a minute while still using her phone. Overall, our experience was disappointing. We usually redeem our vouchers at Pizza Express and decided to try Zizzi for a change, but we will not be returning. The desserts were nice, but the lack of communication about the vouchers was a major letdown. They should inform customers in advance about their voucher policy, as many families rely on them for a nice meal out. It is important for the staff to improve customer service and communication skills."
