"The food was absolutely delicious, the place itself was aesthetically pleasing and just a delight to be in! They were able to accommodate a buggy and we were seated on a table with plenty of space. We had a 2 hour limit, but we weren't rushed and the service was overall excellent! Really enjoyed our meal, and would definitely come back!"

"Very pleased with Sunday lunch as a carvery and the usual menu was offered and we like varied dishes. First class service, easy free parking around the back and a nice walk along the adjacent lane made it a lovely experience. We will be back. We did come back and had the fajitas. They were too hot taste wise which spoilt the flavours. Please ask if cool, medium or very hot needed thanks. WARNING I guess we did not notice on our first visit but the menu prices did NOT include VAT. This was added at the end of the whole bill including drinks etc and bumped up the bill by 20%. In view of this I was unable to afford a decent tip. This is the first time I have had a menu not including VAT. I cannot recommend this pub on that basis as it is totally underhand to to charge that way and gives a feeling of being ripped off to your customers. It may affect repeat business. Please include VAT in the menu prices and we might comeback."

"We had an absolutely magical evening. It was my friend's birthday and Veronica and Rhiannon took care of us so well! Veronica was excellent with her suggestions and recommendations, not to mention her humor and hospitality as a whole! We smiled and laughed all the time. Rhiannon was so beautiful and friendly to us, so patient with all the small inquiries and made the night so smooth for us. She even helped us make some amazing pictures to perpetuate the experience. The food was brilliant; absolutely delicious, came in good time, and very well prepared. Compliments to the bosses! Special word for the Lychee Sorbet and Yuzu ice, for dying. Also the beautiful birthday desert they gave us was fantastic! Overall a brilliant experience 20/10"

"Stopped here on route from Worcester to North Wales and what a find! Went in with out a reservation and it was no problem, lovely menu, hard to choose what to get. Went for the Beef Brisket with Horseradish Mash and Buttered Greens and Gravy and oh my! Beef was melt in the mouth and proper mash and veg that was perfectly cooked. My husband went for the curry and had it extra spicy and it sure was that. It came half and half with chips and rice and a basket of Naan. My daughter had the mac and cheese with Garlic Bread and for the 1st time the meal came out the perfect temperature for her to eat straight away! The staff were all lovely. I would definitely come back again if we were passing this way. 5 stars from me."

"This place was fantastic! We dined outside and, despite the heat wave, it was quite pleasant due to a lovely breeze. The staff were wonderful, and we were pleased with everything we tried. I wouldn’t recommend the hummus and vegetables, as it was rather basic. However, the scallops were absolutely delicious, and the spring salad was very refreshing. The highlight was definitely the dessert: we had both the tiramisu and panna cotta, and they were amazing. This restaurant is a great spot for high-quality Italian food. While it can be a bit pricey, I appreciate their commitment to sourcing quality ingredients, as well as their attention to the venue and decor. Highly recommended!"

"I don’t recommend coming here unless you plan on partying all night. Myself and my partner came for a 1 night staycation on Valentine’s Day. When we arrived we were blown away by the customer service at the front desk and the interiors in the room. When we came back to the room for the night, there was a lot of noise in the hotel from around 9pm onwards. We didn’t mind this at first as it was still quite early in the evening. We were woken up from 3am-7.30am as there was people slamming doors in the hallway, talking very loudly and playing music in the rooms next to us. We were shocked how management could allow this. It sounded like there was 6 people or more in the room next to us drinking and playing music. We came to the dean for a relaxing night away but unfortunately we came home exhausted . We understood when we booked the hotel that there was nightclubs nearby but the issue wasn’t the outside noise it was the noise inside which was insanely loud. I mentioned this at the front desk when we were checking out and they seemed shocked and said they do walks of the hallways during the night but the noise was so loud I didn’t understand how they couldn’t have heard it. They offered to compensate us with brunch in Sophie’s rooftop which we appreciated but we turned down as we wanted to leave. Overall, lovely interiors and customer service but it is definitely more of a partying hotel than a relaxing quiet one. Unfortunately we won’t be back."

"Service was good.Views are great. The quality of the food does not relate to the prices charged.Would. My wife's Gammon was extremely disappointing and didn't taste like gammon and she left it,We didn't complain because we were with relatives who had visited from Canada.I had a curry which was very average. The burgers were OK. would not return until the food quality improves considerably."

"This restaurant is conveniently situated within the National Gallery. The elevated deck creates a spacious and airy atmosphere, which is a lovely respite after a busy day exploring the gallery. However, the service can be quite slow, so if you're pressed for time, I wouldn't recommend dining here. Otherwise, take your time to relax and enjoy the experience. Some tables offer a pleasant view of the nearby Trafalgar Square."

"Where do I start! My husband and I were looking forward to afternoon tea at the Orangery restaurant, after perusing the menu online beforehand it sounded quite nice. When we arrived we were greeted and shown to our table, the place was almost empty, with only one more couple there. We were asked if we’d like tea or coffee, this came out after 5 minutes. The wobbly cake stand with the very sparse amount of sandwiches and selection of cakes came out much later and our teapot was nice and empty by this time! We weren’t offered a refill and tried in vain to get the attention of the waitress who was extremely busy chatting to the other couple about house prices for about 10 minutes. She noticed my husband waving his arms in desperation to get her attention and completely ignored him 4 times! Eventually she managed to fetch us another pot then took the rest of our milk away whilst she refilled it in the kitchen. I thought we were going to die of thirst! The sandwiches we received were not the ones advertised online. We were given plain ham, cheese and pickle, egg mayonnaise and salmon. Where were the watercress, horseradish, cress etc and the coronation chicken? 4 small fingers of basic sandwiches each…. Not enough and I could have made these at home! The scones weren’t warmed and the cakes bore no resemblance to the menu whatsoever! Where were the mango tarts, Victoria sandwiches, pistachio macarons? We received, very dry coffee and lemon cake, chocolate cake and chocolate macaron. Not very inspiring at all for the hefty £21.95 per head price tag! We couldn’t eat a lot of it as it was that rubbish! We did think we might get chance to take the rest home for the kids, but after waiting another 15 minutes to get any attention we gave up and left. As we stepped out of the door the waitress shouted across the room to us to see if we wanted to take the rest home. We said we would have if she had bothered to ask us 15 minutes earlier. Overall a dreadful experience, zero customer service, very inattentive staff, please don’t waste your hard earned cash on this place. Whilst we were there we looked at reviews on trip advisor and see that many people have complained. Short replies have been added by the Orangery saying that they have taken note of the comments, yet absolutely nothing has been done about any of it! We won’t be returning!"

"Unfortunately the Sunday menu has shrunk yet again only choice of beef or pork now if wanting a roast lunch, Food arrived in a timely manner but lukewarm. Terrible issue with flies not enjoyable having to keep swatting them away from Food and drinks. Service charge added to bill ...why , it should be customers choice to tip, not to be made to feel uncomfortable if you don't Want to. Tipping used to be because it was poorly paid, minimum wage changed that, I did ask if the servers got the tip and they do and the server said they work hard so deserve it, ummm they are being paid to work hard. Seems to have had a big change of staff, unfortunately put of going again."

"We had a lovely lunch for two and unusually for us had 3 courses because the food was so nice. We started with cullen skink and scallops which were both very well executed and delicious. Then we both had seafood risotto which was very tasty and just cooked enough. Then we had cheese and crackers which was 2 good sized wedges of cheese in perfect condition. The service and ambience were really relaxed and friendly. All in all a very nice meal at a very good price. We really liked this place and will definitely go again."

"Fabulous meal and great service. Visited on Friday evening, in a large family group, to celebrate a milestone birthday. Often restaurants don,t deal well with large groups as by the time the last person gets their food the first to be served have finished. This was not the case here. Food great, piping hot and staff very friendly. We had a few very young children who us and they were well catered for too. We have been before as family live in the town and will definately be back."

"There was also a lack of attentiveness, as no one checked if we needed any sauces. To make matters worse, the staff were gossiping right next to our table. While I understand everyone has personal issues, it felt like they weren't receiving support from their management, which created a rather tense atmosphere. The food itself was nice, but the overall experience left me hesitant about returning. A 10% service charge was automatically added to our bill. Although we were told we could have it removed, I felt too awkward to ask, even though the service didn’t seem deserving of that charge. In terms of dietary options, many items have non-gluten options available for an extra fee, and vegan cheese is offered. The kids' portions are decent, and there is a disabled toilet, but the tight legroom by the sink may pose some challenges for those with mobility issues. Overall, the meal price ranged from £20 to £30 per person. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 1. They do have a large selection of clearly labeled vegetarian dishes available."

"this place is a must when they are in alloa! we stayed on the street and the hotel recommended it, we are so glad that they. eating was fantastic and I've never seen so efficient, unhappy waiting staff. everyone was taken table and the two. the guards had it up to an absolute art form! Eat quickly came out and was an excellent standard, the best meal that we would be sure for during our trip to Scotland through a land mile if it were not so far away!"

"First time at Chichester branch. Came with the family to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary. An excellent meal as always from Brasserie Blanc. Staff were welcoming, even with our very lively 4 year old, excellent service throughout. The only thing I would have preferred is to be on a round table instead of a long table as not able to chat easily with everyone but unfortunately with such a large party I don't believe they had a round table large enough. However I will continue to visit and recommend this fabulous chain, thank you BB for a lovely afternoon."

"Back in the day this used to be an excellent Italian restaurant. The lighting and ambiance made for a calming and romantic setting, it is now somewhat stark, brightly lit with little atmosphere (despite being full). Whilst the menu reads well enough (I like restaurants with few choices), the execution was just not good enough. Burrata starters were mediocre at best… Whilst my flank steak was a good size and broadly cooked well it was over, the fries were seemingly cooked in dirty oil and probably from frozen, the creamed cabbage was disgusting. My wife and daughters had pasta dishes, the Cacio Pepe was a miserly portion and the seafood pasta tasteless. The wine list has evaporated and limited, the Soave just about adequate at £55, the Chianti Classico at £85 was shocking, thin and miserable despite the quality producer… a total rip off. I hired the whole restaurant for a birthday 10yrs ago because we loved it so much, it was genuinely excellent. This time around it is not good enough which is very sad to say. Every step was 2 stars at best, except the waitress who was polite, helpful and smiley. Am loathed to criticise, I just hope some. Price is taken to tweak it back to life! We need good restaurants in the area."

"This location is split into two areas - a bar and a restaurant. The bar can get a bit loud, especially on a Friday night, so we decided to dine in the restaurant. We found it to be a charming spot with friendly staff, tasty meals, and affordable prices. If we find ourselves back in Scotland, my fiancé and I will definitely return here. Highly recommend checking it out."

"One of the great things about Farnham is that you can stumble upon hidden gems down side streets or alleys. Borelli’s is one of these hidden treasures, with a quaint courtyard outdoor area that is perfect for dining. The outdoor heaters provide a cozy atmosphere, and the bar has a modern city feel. The staff at Borelli’s were amazing, especially with our son who they engaged with and entertained with their knowledge of Pokémon. The menu offers a Mediterranean fusion of Spanish and Italian cuisines, including pizza, pasta, and tapas. We tried the fish paella, spicy chicken wings, antipasto platter, and a dish similar to patatas bravas. While the chicken was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were crispy, the antipasto seemed store-bought and the paella lacked fish and seafood flavor. Despite this, we would probably return to Borelli’s because of the pleasant atmosphere and friendly service."
