"We came with foodie friends for dinner on a Saturday evening this was a birthday surprise had no idea where we were going but was delighted with the choice. Warmly welcomed on arrival and seated with a view over the water. The menu was fabulous Indian 'tapas ' sharing plates and/or more substantial main courses. If that was not enough a mouth watering selection of specials. Very original dishes. With guidance and suggestions from the friendly and informative staff, we worked our way through course after course; revisiting some of our favourites. The food was simply excellent. Wonderfully replete, they kindly brought out a home made birthday cake. An excellent evening, great food and one of the best Indian restaurants Ive eaten in.....and certainly the most creative. Highly recommended."

"I went after reading other reviews and like it is frequently described as a hidden gem . Being Indian I have quite high expectations for Indian cuisine, and this definitely exceeded. The Indian n indo Chinese are both highly highly recommend. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. I cannot wait to go back."

"service was very helpful, but eating is too fast. So we got our flatbread, that was nice and warm but just over five minutes later, when we hadn't finished eating that our main course arrived. with the time I had completed the first course, my main course was cold. I was not impressed with the food quality. if they do not want you to eat at once (almost), then this restaurant is not for them!"

"Unfortunately couldn't give this place more than 1 star. The place is clean with nice decorations and good hospitality. .. However, the food is way below expectations. We ordered fatoush, cheese sambousak and shawerma hummus for starters and we got tabouleh on top of that as a complimentary. Unfortunately, the fatoush was tasteless, no summaq, no lemon or even salt and burned bread ...i don't even think it had proper olive oil as part of the dressing. Tabouleh had no bulgar and came with big chunks on onions! Couldn't even try it coz it didn't even look like tabouleh. The cheese sambousak was very salty ... so if you have high blood pressure ...DON'T even think about it! The shawerma is not shawerma. .. it's just chicken cooked on stove top ... and the hummus ... mmm ... what was that?!!! Nothing like hummus! For our main ... we ordered Chicken Biryani. Didn't taste or look like it ... the rice was very soft and full of water and not fluffy at all. We were very disappointed and the lady noticed our shock and asked us for our feedback. .. She was very understanding and we only paid for the sambousak and the chicken Biryani ... good customer service ... but unfortunately worst arabic food I tried in the UK"

"beautiful place where we sat down, the decoration was very Moroccan and colorful. eating was amazing, there were 4 of us, so we ordered two of the plates to share as starters that were cooked to perfection. all netzen were excellent we had steaks, lammkofta and chicken kebabs all served with reischips. my only criticism would be that the service was a little on the slow side by saying that it would not stop me going back there. if they are in the opposite, I would recommend this place."

"The food is absolutely delicious, definitely worth a visit if ur an Indian food lover! Gaurav was super nice when I asked him what does he recommend, he recommend the samosa chaat which was super tasty, will be back for more! The garlic naan was really really good and it’s massive. The butter lamb is creamy and tasty. Mango Lassi was also tasty. The portion here is great, really good price too! Priyanka was super kind, excellent service overall! The decor in the restaurant is so pretty, plenty of seating with a a variety of items from the menu to choose from! I can’t recommend this place enough, can’t wait to come back"

"Initially I was surprised at the entrance of the restaurant as it looked as though it needed some TLC and did not look like the pictures, but once we were greeted by a lovely host my concerns evaporated and I was looking forward to a lovely authentic meal. Although the staff were lovely and kind, unfortunately the food was not the best. Starters at £9 each and the samosas and the vegetable kebab were well below standard. The samosa was in a type of short crust pastry which I have never had anywhere before and was flavorless. The mains were a good portion size and one rice portion was enough for 2, but the curries lack of flavor, almost made me want to ask for some salt. Even with the discount applied my bill would be the same at any Indian restaurant, so was not worth making the trip. Considering its rating of 9.3 on here, I was expecting a lot more, as well as the area and prices displayed. £5,50 for a bottle of still water kind of summed it up."

"I was pleased with the extensive menu choices at the restaurant. I selected the Mousaka as my main course and enjoyed it. However, I would have preferred my dessert to be served at room temperature instead of straight out of the refrigerator. The staff was friendly and attentive, but I mentioned my feedback about the cold dessert and they took it onboard, even offering a suggestion for a different dessert next time."

"Ok place. We ate here last weekend and it was ok. Obviously we didn't enjoy it as much as other reviewers so maybe we caught it on a bad night. Service was absolutely excellent and they could not have been more attentive. Also there was a nice gap between the starters and mains which is always appreciated many places hurry everything out too soon. The channa poori was a delicious starter. We were a little let down by the mains though. The lamb was slightly overcooked and a bit chewy but nonetheless tasy. The vegetable bhoona had a serious amount of oil in it, more so than you would expect and seemed to be 99% cauliflower and a sprinkling of peas a bit more variety would have been...read more"

"Everything was good only two issues. The chili stir fried lamb was way too dry as a disk and should either come with some kind of plain sauce or more onions and vegitables to add is some moist. The other issue is me and the wife were taking pictures where she was sitting on my lap and one of the waiters said something in bengali about it. Probably didn't know I was bengali. Ametuer move my wife was upset about that. Ruined the whole experience."

"We ate the traditions tasting menu and it was delicious. In a way there way too much food, it was difficult to eat it all and we were sad but the waste at the last savoury course. The pie was the highlight, but the final desert was a little disappointing. We were there on a train strike day at lunch time and it was very quiet and the restaurant actually lacked in ambience. The service was attentive and friendly."

"love this place! I have already taken a few times before Shawarma wraps away from there, but after jogging the meals of the people during the waiting I went there recently to feed. it was so good! the food was delicious, we had a mixed grill and it was enormous and really delicious. the baba ganoush was also delicious, and the baklava was the best I ever had. the service was also excellent. there is a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant and it has a great family feeling. definitiw my favourite restaurant in the elephant castle area! will be again a lot."

"A return visit, but the first since the change of ownership. We arrived before midday, not having a reservation, but were seated easily on a quiet day. There were only two staff and service was a little slow, but nothing to moan about. I'm not sure what the reason was; the first sunny day for quite a while, the first weekday of the half term holiday, but suddenly the place was inundated and the staff, who obviously weren't expecting it, just couldn't cope there was queue out of the door! Everything unravelled from there. Luckily our order had been taken and our food arrived in good time, but another drink or a cup of coffee would have taken forever, so I paid and left! The food was OK, but not what it used to be. The place remains very much the same, but taken as a whole the experience was not as good as usual. I'll go back again, just to see if this was a one off, but I do think Young's Brewery needs to be more on the ball here. I should add, the staff were both very friendly and helpful, but were just overwhelmed."

"I visited this establishment on Saturday for my husbands birthday. I was very underwelmed by the customer service i recieved. When we arrived a small group of 6 people also arrived approx 5 mins after). We placed our order and proceeded to wait, the small group placed there order 5 minutes after us. It was a very long wait or the drinks we ordered but we waited patiently. We waited 40 minutes for our food while the larger group recieved their food quite quickly after they ordered and before us I may add). When I questioned the length of time we were waiting, I was taken aback by the response that ' it was no ones fault ' and that they didnt inform us of the delay because ' we didnt ask '. I can honestly say that the food is lovely but the whole establishment is let down by the lack of customer service and the atomosphere as staff were walking around eating and drinking without checking in on guests. My annoyance was more the length of waiting and the customer service as they were not welcoming at all and this was on a SATURDAY NIGHT! Will not be returning even though they are so close to home and the food was pretty decent."

"What a great find tucked away in Southgate. They were very accommodating and dealt with a coeliac guest amongst our party. All the food was exceptionally tasty and the kebabs had been marinated to produce a very tender meat. Deliciuous. We had an original booking for 3 people and ended up with eight. No fuss made in accommodating us. Excellent food and very reasonable prices. They ran out of a wine we had been drinking and offered a substitute of higher value at same price. Thoroughly enjoyed teh visit and no hesitation in recommending."

"We really enjoyed our visit to Infiniti. The restaurant is modern and has a relaxed ambience. The starters were gorgeous and the mains were lovely too. They have a couple of good vegan main options but I think most of them were rather more side dishes than main dishes but what we did have was nice. The meat-eaters really enjoyed their mains and the keema nan especially. The gin cocktails are lovely! We also got served by a really lovely young girl who made sure we were all happy. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely return"
