"Heaven is a place in Portrush the Ramore really is one of my favourite places on the planet. The food is so good that it really is difficult to get across the mouth wateringness of this place in words! And the portions, the huge fabulous portions are just perfect for a glutton like me. Where to start when describing the menu? Think juicy grilled meats and fish, calorie loaded but oh so good sauces and the miracle that is tobacco onions think spirals of onion coated in something delish and then deep fried to perfection. Oh, did I mention that you REALLY need to leave all awareness and thoughts of counting calories or fat grams at the door. I always order the chilli fillet steak in pitta bread with sour cream and chilli potato skins with a side order of salad. Even the salad is exceptional. No limp lettuce in the Ramore, this salad has things like marinated mushrooms, baby onions in balsamic vinegar and roasted red peppers going on. The desserts are the stuff of your dreams. One is called St Honore and has to be seen to be believed a rocky road base, home made honeycome, a huge profiterole at a jaunty angle on the side and a whole cow's worth of cream. The Ramore is always jammed which is a testament to how good it is and creates a very buzzy vibe but means that you sometimes have to wait for a table. Take consolation from the fact that you can stare at the desserts in the chiller while you wait! There are lots of fab quirky touches like tap water served in wine bottles which the kids will love. Ask for a table overlooking the harbour and you'll have a great view while you load up and then roll out the door for a walk by the sea afterwards."

"Not only were we served the most delicious pizza we have ever had in the funkiest industrial themed restaurant, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and our little doggy. Welcoming, friendly, outstanding food, refreshing cocktails and overall a memorable experience. Just go, get yourself down there and experience their fresh and vibrant modern take on pizza for yourself. Thanks guys!"

"I absolutely love their salads. Food is always tasty, fresh and the staff amazing. Two times I’ve been there out of a few we’ve coincidentally have ad a big birthday table. Very loud but if you’re sensitive to loud noise then just put your earphones or AirPods on. It gets louder but the foods worth it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"SOOO pleased that the Pottery tearoom has re-opened, we have missed it dearly! We have visited several times over the last few weeks (severe Bakewell potters salad addiction, but not on the same plate.... and generally have booked. Like that arrival times are staggered to enable social distancing but did call in unexpectedly at 2pm one day when we could only be fitted in outside but it was lovely weather. Staff smashing chatty and who knew I need a set of 3 aluminium seahorses for my bathroom wall?! As always an eclectic range of crafts to tempt. Looking forward to tomorrows lunch already."

"that is the second time that I was here after a recommendation from a friend and I absolutely love it. eating is delicious with a really varied menu and it comes quickly. I have to be honest, it is not cheap and so far we have not been especially friendly by someone who is a scandal, but the selection is fantastic with both sweet and hearty oriented and just a personal note, apologising, but I ordered the gluten-free cocose and limette cake that looked divine, but it was the most beautiful thing I have ever tried. (think flash lemon floor cleaner! but if I complained, no refund was offered so that maybe something better customer care would be good, but the food and the ambiente are second to none"

"We stopped here for a drink just before going to the Victoria Palace Theatre. Given it was during the olympics so the pub was busy with drinkers. However, the customer service was terrible, 4 staff behind the bar all of which could speak hardly any/if any english and myself and other customers had to point to which drink we wanted. The drink i had was disgustingly warm and cloudy as if the barrel hadn't been tapped correctly and the cooling system wasn't on. I work in a pub myself so excuses like it's a hot day or it's near the end of the barrel don't wash with me. And if this wasn't bad enough did i mention the prices? A standard pint of horrible beer and small (and i mean small! glass of rose' wine cost me £10.75 i had to take a double take when she showed me the price on the till (again couldn't understand when she told me the price .Fair to say this duke of york will not have 10,000 men any time soon."

"Lovely community Cafe based ground level in the Dora Matthews building opposite to the Chinese. I opted for the full English which you can get all day they have lots of other meals to choose from as well or lighter meals with bacon sausage baps u can even ask for a takeaway. Sally is very accommodating if you don’t like one of the breakfast items in your plate she will happily swap them. I personally love tinned tomatoes rather than half a tomato dislike blackpudding. I asked for an extra egg with my breakfast this was a treat for me this breakfast. Very good value currently £7.50 and most meals are around this price."

"Called in at this pub before a show at the nearby Apollo Theatre and had a good meal. The pub is part of a chain (Stonegate Taverns) but our experience was better than at other pubs in the same chain. We were met by the welcoming and friendly Petra and shown to our table before she returned to take our order. The pub was fairly quiet (midweek lunch) and the service was quick. We had the Lasagne and Fish Goujons Sandwich and both were good size portions, well cooked, as well as being served hot. To drink we had Chenin Blanc and Hobgoblin Gold and both were perfectly fine. The latter was a well kept ale. The pub seemed to cater for locals as well as tourists, based on the clientele whilst we were there. Prices were reasonable for London and there was a 10% theatre discount which was a great idea and very welcome."

"Was booked for my birthday. Unfortunately it was me who suffered food wise. I ordered the kebab and Unfortunately when I received it it was cold not even luke warm. I did send it back but by the time I received a new one the rest of my family had finished their food. Bit frustrating as it didn't appear very busy atleast not on the food side of things so I was a bit Disappointed"

"I’ve seen this place on TA before so was quite keen to try. The restaurant was nicely done out with a good menu choice and set up inside . We went for 2 pizza’s , Margherita with mushrooms goats cheese pesto which were excellent. thin crust , great toppings and very tasty. I had the house salad called 84 salad which is with chicken and buffalo mozzarella which was a bit dull and underwhelming, my mistake for choosing it but was hoping for more variety than using the same leaves and nothing else. I wouldn’t choose it again. We also had the sharing bruschetta as a starter which was nice enough but unfortunately came out at the same time as the main courses and we would have preferred it before the mains rather than at the same I think if you go for pizza or pasta you can’t go wrong."

"I'm so happy to have this quirky little place in front of my doorstep. there is a good selection of veggie/vegan options. the staff are very welcome to ask to answer the menu. highlights are the veggie dumplings, the crispy tofu aubergine wrap the momo house salad. the veggie tipping set meal is good value for money 8 dumplings, diving sauce and sides of miso suppe, edamame and bok choi for £10. I recently went with a group of vegan friends she wrote a vegan menu only for us! menu in photos."

"I have not been to a Marstons pub that has been soo cleaned, welcoming and rewarding before. We came for lunch and drinks. The hostess was welcoming, well mannered and presentable. The food options were great, reasonably priced and tasted even better. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be back again. Thanks to all of the staff, I hope you get to read this review."

"Popped in just for a nice hot coffee but have visited many times. Great place in Amble. Stunning views. Warkworth Castle visible overlooking the river. Outside seating area too. What's not to like about the Fish Shack. You pay a little more than average but that comes with the location and stunning view. Parking: There are 2 car parks very close by. Currently the one next to the customs house was 50p per hour. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid street parking"

"Delicious steak, cooked to perfection. Partner had never been and he loved it. The value, compared to other steak restaurants particularly for the location, is fantastic £13 for steak, £8 cocktails and around £5 for (very tasty) sides. The peppercorn sauce is also amazing, quite small so had to order 2 but so worth it for £1 each. Service was great and there’s a lovely buzz throughout the restaurant. You also get free ice cream at the end!"

"We were travelling as two couples and we called in here for lunch as the only place we could find that was open. The place is clean and bright and tables are well spaced. We were seated quickly but sadly the service was then pretty poor. The lady serving us said she was just helping out fair enough but she did not know what wine they had and there was no drinks menu so we had no idea of prices etc.. Eventually I went up to the bar to find out what was available and ordered a house red, but still no indication of price. We gave our orders after short delay but nearly an hour after we had arrived we still had no food. Other tables who had arrived after us were being served. When we eventually asked where our food was, we were told that the other tables were eating salads so it was quicker for them . However, at least one of the diners on the next table had fish and chips and cooked dishes were being served on the other tables too. It was clear that either our inexperienced waitress had not put our order in or the kitchen had overlooked it. Of course these things happen and we would have understood if they had been honest, but to try and fob us off was very disappointing. When the food came, the prawn cocktail was delicious and very good value. The steak sandwich was OK but sat on a slice of dry white sliced bread not what you would expect at £13.95. The other two dishes were Rik 's hot dawgs which sounded very substantial and tempting for our hungry husbands. Sadly the single sausage was very small, the size you would get on a children 's menu. The dish was hugely overpriced at £10.95. So, with one exception, disappointing and overpriced food, poor service and an hour 's wait for food. So, we won 't be back!!"

"Trip to Blenheim Palace was fine BUT very very disappointed with food my friend and I had from Water Terrace Cafe. Was served by a rather miserable young male jacket potato .....Salad!!! LETTUCE ONLY (pile of it)!! ... about dessert spoonful of cheese... cappochino......£13.30 RIP OFF ....worse jacket spud I have ever had. Not hot and very poor standard. Would recommend one of my packed lunches if i was to visit again.!! Looks to me as if somebody needs to sort out the catering and layout of the cafe. Not the highlight of my visit... ..."

"Such a disappointment, the decor looked the same as Efes, which this restaurant was called only 2 months ago. But the quality of food has gone down terribly. To make the matter worse, it's expensive. All in all, I won't be going there again"

"I ended up at the walk-in only spot as the other was booked. I was on my own and they have a little area in the window for single diners and a spot opened quickly so didn’t have the 30’ wait I heard others given. Food was delicious, they were very helpful about identifying gf items on the menu which were or could be made gf, service was quick and friendly. I recommend highly if you love mashed potatoes!"

"Excellent food at Yildiz and highly recommend! We enjoyed the lamb kofta, the Yildiz special salad, and the calamari and we were not expecting the amount of beautifully presented food including such colourful, stunning salads. The koftas/kebabs come with a bowl of delicious fresh pittas, a superb side salad with marinated onions and pickled red cabbage, and some rice. The calamari was juicy and fresh, and the Yildiz salad was enormous with really juicy delicious cubes of feta. It exceeded all expectations and was thoroughly delicious (and so filling). The menu is extensive, and caters really well to vegetarians vegans, and all the allergens are flagged on the menu (such as molluscs or gluten). The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu."
