"We chose Persian cottage to have a private dinning upstairs for our wedding reception. This involved only immediate family and we wanted somewhere where we could enjoy amazing food and relax. Persian cottage (Mohsan) went above and beyond to make the whole experience perfect. They listened to all of our individual requests for food and allowed the florist and wedding planner to completed transform the room to make it perfect for us. They made sure they looked after everyone involved to complete the room transformation. Allowing them to arrive the day before and the morning of the wedding. Making sure they all felt at ease and had everything that they needed. They are all so kind and caring listening to everything we wanted and exceeded my expectations. They even added some of their own traditional and personal touches to finish off making this experience so unique, personal and comfortable. The food was absolutely outstanding as it always is from Persian cottage. We had a mixture of all the starters to share because how can you chose just one. They are all so amazing, authentic and home cooked like my dad makes! If you haven’t tried the starters then you need to order one of each with the bread to eat them with. Absolutely amazing! The presentation was beautiful and the attention to detail made it perfect. We all chose our own mains and I got some extra dishes for people to share everyone was so happy with their choices. Everyone commented on the authentic food and amazing flavours that we all love. The whole team made sure everything was presented amazingly and come out all together. We then had their baclava for dessert and it was amazing flavour and so fresh when eating it. Although we were all extremely full we had to get the rest boxed up to take with us. The whole day ran smoothly and was stress free thanks to the amazing team at Persian cottage. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so perfect in every way! I would definitely recommend Persian cottage for a meal or an occasion as it never disappoints!"

"Came for lunch today, we booked online but the only confusing thing is that it isn’t clear online when you ‘confirm’ booking, itll just tell you to edit or cancel booking but it’ll show in your emails a bit later on. Because of the bad signal we ended up booking twice out of confusion hahaha! It was quiet in there but none the less the greeting we had (we think he might be the owner, we spoke about keys) was so kind and welcome. Fire was going, music was on, poured us a drink straight away. What a friendly and nice man, I really appreciated being in his company. It’s hard to impress me when it comes to a lasagne but this one just topped my incredible mood off even more. See attached the house salad!!! Never seen anyone present one like that, it was amazing. What was even better is that you had the chef delivering the meals, we absolutely loved this, we always look forward to going to pubs and they treat you like you’ve been there all your life. Massive recommendation here, it was quiet but the village is quiet, we loved the cosy chill vibes of it all. Thank you to all the staff there, you added to a lovely birthday for me today!"

"After spending 19 hours in the emergency department of the hospital we arrived in Buckingham around 2 pm and as we were hungry we decided to go to eat at Prezzo, which we had never been to before. As soon as we entered we saw a middle aged blonde woman who asked us if we had a reservation (which surprised me because the restaurant was empty except for 2 tables, I thought that she didn't seem to control the reservations she had, if she managed it well she would have known that we didn't have a reservation). She spoke to us all the time in a very rude way and looked down on us. We placed our order, but about 2 minutes later I went to the bar and asked her to please change some dishes, she spoke to me very rudely and started banging on the computer to cancel the dishes very aggressively and very angry. We ordered the following: Caesar salad, the portion of food is too small to be worth £13.95, a supermarket bag has a lot more, and they brought it to us without the egg. Spaghetti Bolognese, when we came in we saw at one of the tables that they served it with a large amount of bolognaise on a separate plate but they brought us very little bolognaise on top of the spaghetti, it doesn't seem to me to be a dish worth £13.50. Penne Alla Rusticana, a lot of penne and not enough chicken and only 4 small pieces of ham, the pepper was also scarce, the sauce was more like cream with a little tomato for colour, not much flavour, not a dish worth £14.50 either I had to go and get it to ask for grated cheese, the other table next to us had a large bowl of grated cheese for the same diners and we got a very, very small portion. For dessert we ordered tiramisu which was brought to us with a blonde hair on top. To pay I had to go again to look for her who was on the terrace sitting at a table with the chef looking at her mobile phone. We were treated as if we were not good enough for the restaurant or could not pay the bill, the meal cost us £64.10, which seems very expensive for the treatment and the food, in my opinion they gave us smaller portions because the manager did not like us. I have never been made to feel so bad. Of course I will never go to a Prezzo again."

"This restaurant is a wonderful spot to unwind in the sun, tucked away in a quiet corner with a welcoming atmosphere. The food and drink choices are top-notch, and the service from the owners is exceptional. I was the one in the mustard and green outfit, so you know who's leaving this feedback. Can't wait to visit again soon. - Dan"

"Sooo I was up late the night before checking out the best places to go to for breakfast on Tripadvisor. My fella was celebrating his birthday on Good Friday and I wanted a special breakfast place to go too which was local to us. I was drawn to the Chair and Chai because everyone was raving about the great coffee and we really appreciate a fab coffee as we have a very good one at home and always comment that ours is better than anywhere we go. Yep....great coffee here so much so we had 2 each. Lovely lady taking orders. Great location...so close to town centre but very quiet area so felt really secluded and private which was wonderful. Incredibly clean. Can imagine it would be a lovely place to come for a private catch up with a good friend. Food was AMAZING. My fella really enjoyed his birthday breakfast and so did the kids. Clean plates and loads of smiles. Perfect choice. Thank you Chair and Chai. In the words of Arnie Schwarzenegger We'll be back ;0)"

"**Meal Type:** Lunch **Price Range per Person:** £10–20 **Food Rating:** ★★☆☆☆ **Service Rating:** ★★☆☆☆ **Atmosphere Rating:** ★★☆☆☆ **Recommended Dish:** Mixed Grill I recently had lunch at this restaurant, and my experience was quite underwhelming. The food received a rating of 2 out of 5; it simply didn't live up to expectations. The service was similarly lacking, which was disappointing. The atmosphere also left something to be desired, making it a rather uninspiring place to dine. However, I would recommend trying the Mixed Grill, as it was the standout dish among the offerings. Overall, I hope for improvements in the future."

"My friend and I discovered this charming café during a birthday shopping trip, and we absolutely loved it! Initially, we only planned to have tea and chai lattes, but we couldn't resist trying the sweet eggs and bruschetta for breakfast, and it was delicious! The place has a fantastic 80s garage vibe, so we decided to return later for a light meal and bottle of wine on the ground floor. The atmosphere and music were great! We will definitely come back, especially on a Shrewsbury night, to sample the pizza and enjoy the music again. I highly recommend this quirky little café/bar!"

"We were returning from Skegness to Boston, and looking for a late light lunch, when we saw this craft shop cafe at Wrangle. And what a find. A very warm welcome even though it was close to closing time and a large party had just left. Excellent light menu, and what's even more important to us a gluten free option. Gluten free soup with gf rolls followed by gf warm scone heaven for my wife. I went for a cream cheese, celery and walnut sandwich. The side salad was the usual lettuce/tomato/ BUT there was also a large helping of their special house salad again very tasty and at the other end of the plate decent crisps. This accompanied with first class service, a free refill of the tea pot, and a homemade cookie afterwards and change from £15. Then there were the tempting and original crafts all around. Really pleased we stopped here I wish them well in their new venture."

"Called in here end of August 2023 with the family at their recommendation from a previous visit. Wow, the food is a very good reason for relocation to Aberfeldy and I'd probably eat there all the time. Had the Chef Recommended Kasheck Pollo Chicken and it was absolutely superb as we're all the choices of dishes we had. Don't miss this total gem if you're in the area. Wonderful friendly and attentive service, so lovely to the children too. Atmosphere is charming and feels really authentic. 100% a real gem of a place. Looking forward to my next visit."

"that is the second time that I was here after a recommendation from a friend and I absolutely love it. eating is delicious with a really varied menu and it comes quickly. I have to be honest, it is not cheap and so far we have not been especially friendly by someone who is a scandal, but the selection is fantastic with both sweet and hearty oriented and just a personal note, apologising, but I ordered the gluten-free cocose and limette cake that looked divine, but it was the most beautiful thing I have ever tried. (think flash lemon floor cleaner! but if I complained, no refund was offered so that maybe something better customer care would be good, but the food and the ambiente are second to none"

"The clientele mainly consists of local families, with plenty of kids enjoying the space. However, what truly stands out is the exceptional quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff, which contributes to a wonderfully cheerful environment. I ordered a delicious grilled salmon served on a bed of fresh mixed salads, which included quinoa, couscous with grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, and sautéed mushrooms. The portion was generous and absolutely tasty. The best part is that you can choose from a wide selection of salads showcased behind the cake counter. Speaking of cakes, the display is truly impressive. It's beautifully arranged, featuring giant colorful meringues, mini pavlovas topped with cream and strawberries, strawberry cheesecake, tiramisu, and much more. It’s inventive and creative, with so many options to pick from. The strawberry cheesecake was truly heavenly, delivering a perfect balance of fruity and creamy flavors in every bite. The mini pavlova was just right, with a perfect amount of meringue and a thick dollop of vanilla cream on top. It crumbled delightfully with each forkful—delicious! If you're heading west from Ballycastle towards the Giant's Causeway, don't miss this place!"

"We stopped here for a drink just before going to the Victoria Palace Theatre. Given it was during the olympics so the pub was busy with drinkers. However, the customer service was terrible, 4 staff behind the bar all of which could speak hardly any/if any english and myself and other customers had to point to which drink we wanted. The drink i had was disgustingly warm and cloudy as if the barrel hadn't been tapped correctly and the cooling system wasn't on. I work in a pub myself so excuses like it's a hot day or it's near the end of the barrel don't wash with me. And if this wasn't bad enough did i mention the prices? A standard pint of horrible beer and small (and i mean small! glass of rose' wine cost me £10.75 i had to take a double take when she showed me the price on the till (again couldn't understand when she told me the price .Fair to say this duke of york will not have 10,000 men any time soon."

"Called in at this pub before a show at the nearby Apollo Theatre and had a good meal. The pub is part of a chain (Stonegate Taverns) but our experience was better than at other pubs in the same chain. We were met by the welcoming and friendly Petra and shown to our table before she returned to take our order. The pub was fairly quiet (midweek lunch) and the service was quick. We had the Lasagne and Fish Goujons Sandwich and both were good size portions, well cooked, as well as being served hot. To drink we had Chenin Blanc and Hobgoblin Gold and both were perfectly fine. The latter was a well kept ale. The pub seemed to cater for locals as well as tourists, based on the clientele whilst we were there. Prices were reasonable for London and there was a 10% theatre discount which was a great idea and very welcome."

"I came here with an elderly friend seeking a good, cheap lunch. I was very impressed by the wide choice available from such a small kitchen, and it was clear that everything is freshly prepared. My quiche came with a generous side salad, and my friend's ham looked delicious, and came with a nicely cooked eggs and a massive portion of chips. The decor is delightful, I loved the cheerful and comfy chairs, and the staff were very friendly. The cafe is suitable for all ages, with toys available for children, and I anticipate returning at a later date, particularly as they are doing very reasonably priced Christmas lunches in December booking advisable!"

"I’ve seen this place on TA before so was quite keen to try. The restaurant was nicely done out with a good menu choice and set up inside . We went for 2 pizza’s , Margherita with mushrooms goats cheese pesto which were excellent. thin crust , great toppings and very tasty. I had the house salad called 84 salad which is with chicken and buffalo mozzarella which was a bit dull and underwhelming, my mistake for choosing it but was hoping for more variety than using the same leaves and nothing else. I wouldn’t choose it again. We also had the sharing bruschetta as a starter which was nice enough but unfortunately came out at the same time as the main courses and we would have preferred it before the mains rather than at the same I think if you go for pizza or pasta you can’t go wrong."

"I happened to pass by a Nando's and decided to stop in for dinner as it had been a while since my last visit. The lemon and herb chicken wings were delicious, the chips were tastier than usual, and the halloumi was also very good. The sweet chilli dip complemented the halloumi well and added a lot of flavor to the meal. I even suggested a new menu item idea of sweet chilli coated chips. The service was quick and friendly, and the decor in the restaurant made me feel like I was in Portugal. The plants, walls, paintings, and lights were all very nice, and I appreciated the sink in the restaurant. The water machine was unique, as you had to pull a lever for ice cubes instead of pressing a button. There was also outdoor seating, which was great in the hot weather. I would recommend using the sink in Nando's to wash your hands before eating, as the services toilets were not very clean. Overall, I highly recommend this Nando's location at Beaconsfield services."

"I have not been to a Marstons pub that has been soo cleaned, welcoming and rewarding before. We came for lunch and drinks. The hostess was welcoming, well mannered and presentable. "I'm not sure if this place still needs a review, but it was by far the best meal I've had in London! After two weeks of traveling here, I knew I had to try Flat Iron. I decided to visit the Covent Garden location and was pleasantly surprised with complimentary ice cream! I loved everything I ordered. The medium steak was perfectly seasoned, and the fries, salad, and cream spinach were all fantastic. I definitely want to come back in the future. The egg served with shaved chocolate was also absolutely delicious. Overall, I had a 5/5 experience, and the servers were wonderful as well!"
