"I just want to pay my tributes to Maze Grill and the staff for the excellent experience we had when we visited you for dinner on New Years Eve! Me and my family felt ourself very special already from the entrance, the bar and throughout the whole dinner. Especially our headwaiter (think his name was Karnal? but also his colleagues had much to do but never failed in attention, on the contrary there where not a single second we had to wait or ask for anything. Nice details as when someone constantly have an eye if our glasses needed to be filled up or when our son dropped the fork he had a new one even faster than he could of picked it up himself from the floor. And we noticed that the staff picked up the napkins and folded it and put it back whenever someone went to toilet or so. And it never felt pushy or so, just nice and friendly discreet attention. And what about the food? The garlic shrimps for starter was great as a appetizer and the steak for main course was perfectly executed, as well as the chips and the cole slaw was to die for. Again the attention for detail was great since we had different choices all four of us. The sommelier presented the wines on an Ipad to choose from and we struck gold for choosing a red stellenbosch one. If we have anything to complain about the wine could of been a couple of degrees colder, it was room temperatur I believe. We could of said something but we didn´t since we already got our main courses. When we left Maze Grill for heading out for the fireworks the doorman helped us with a cab…all nice details that makes you feel happy to pay the bill even if its much more than you usually spend on a dinner as an ”average family”. We will certainly visit you again and we will look for other Ramsay restaurants whenever we travel abroad again. Hope you will find a place in Stockholm to start up a new restaurant someday! "First class. Food and service were superb. Truly accomplished and delicious dishes. My friend, who doesn’t really care much for food, declared the honey parfait dessert to be the best thing he’d ever eaten. I had the rhubarb soufflé, the presentation of which is hilariously risqué! The rack of Dover sole was exquisite. Lots of little treats too. The sommelier was really good even though we weren’t splashing out on wine on this occasion. Her dirty dry martinis were excellent. Overall, a five-star experience. Ambience-wise, it was a bit quiet on Saturday lunch; and it is undeniably expensive. No doubt a causal connection between those two minor quibbles. However, we both agreed that it was worth it and have spent comparable sums (or more) elsewhere for far less. The team behind this restaurant are at the top of their game: they appear to love what they do; and pull out the stops to give their guests a wonderful time. The staff were attentive and kind but not intrusive. Consummate professionals."

"We had BT as our server at the Bar and Grill in Mayfair for my girlfriend's birthday, and he was fantastic! The managers were excellent as well. The food was the best I've ever had, especially the wagyu steak, which was cooked to perfection. They even sang happy birthday, gave us complimentary dessert, and brought out a little sticky toffee pudding with a candle, along with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate on the plate. I would definitely recommend this place!"

Unfortunately, my partner and I found our meals to be quite disappointing. My partner's chicken skewers arrived lukewarm and seemed stale, as though they had been sitting out for a while or were reheated. I ordered the vegan taco as a starter, but it was unbearably spicy, making it difficult for me to enjoy the meal afterwards. I question whether it should have been that spicy. For my main course, I chose the vegan curry, which was also lukewarm and unappetizing. I managed to take a few bites but felt embarrassed to leave most of it uneaten, so I requested to take it with me. However, when I exited the restaurant, I was still hungry. Given the total of £42.75, I felt the price was quite steep for a meal that we did not enjoy. I have heard wonderful things about your restaurant and wonder if our experience was just an off day. We were genuinely disappointed in our culinary experience and I felt it was important to provide this feedback. I did know that they have vegetarian options from the menu we saw the day before, but wasn’t sure if they had anything vegan. It turns out that they did not have any specifically vegan items on the menu. However, the waitress and kitchen was very accommodating and made modifications to the full veggie breakfast for me. It was your typical full breakfast made vegan that was simple and cooked well with fresh produce. I really appreciate how helpful and accommodating the staff were, especially in answering my questions in assuring me it was vegan. Really made me feel at ease. My friends enjoyed their Buttermilk Chicken and Waffle too which was a good portion too. We all loved the juice and smoothies we ordered as well! We also had a look at their cocktail menu which intrigued us. Excellent customer service, good vibes with the bright and fun décor that is still classy, good food at reasonable prices, I do see myself coming back here for dinner/to try their cocktails if I find myself in Edinburgh again."

"We had been booked on 14th February evening to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I don’t drink alcohol except some events, and not familiar to all drinks. When I asked them to explain about one of them which I hadn’t seen that brand before , two guys who were at the bar was starting to look each other and laughing. They keep laughing all the time when I was standing there. While we were surviving dinner I called waitress by fingers and one of guys who was at bar came to me and told me angrily don’t use your fingers when you need us. He said we do this to our dogs. Well I am from other culture and don’t know about other cultures. I came and apologized from that lady. As a customer my expectation is they should know the UK is full of ethnicities and they should have behaved calmly. So they didn’t make us our Valentine’s night"

"So So disapointed. Only booked a few weeks ago and chose this on the basis of what cocktails were available for a bottomless brunch. Got there and they had changed the choices..to ones we did not like. The said it would have been on an email but the email I received the day before had none of this info. If it had, we would have cancelled as can have prosecco brunch locally!. Finally the manager agreed for us to have another choice but that was after were were going to walk. Service was always polite but so so slow. Had to call someone over more times than not and it wasnt even busy.The food was lovely I have to say but the other MASSIVE complaint was there was no live DJ as advertised, No vibe just piped music..why was it advertised as a kitchen disco brunch. Very very disappointed and DO NOT recommend."

"I really enjoy dining at The Refinery. I have visited a couple of times now and have always been pleased with the setting, ambience, and staff. However, on my most recent visit, I was disappointed with the price of the main meal and the portion size. I ordered the pan-fried salmon, which was supposed to come with cauliflower for a healthy option. Unfortunately, the dish only came with a few small pieces of cauliflower, and I felt that it was not worth the £13.95 price tag. I would have preferred a larger portion for the price. I find that the mains are a bit overpriced for the portion size, and I would recommend ordering side dishes to feel satisfied. Despite this, everything else about my dining experience was wonderful."

"I made a reservation for a Father's Day meal for 4 people through OpenTable. When we arrived on time, we were informed that they only had a reservation for 2 people. After some disagreements and a debate about the situation (I had a confirmation email showing 4 people), we were eventually seated in the bar area instead of the main restaurant. It seemed there was a mix-up between OpenTable and The George's booking systems. This resulted in my kids eating very late and becoming quite impatient with the length of our stay, which somewhat dampened the overall experience. However, the food was decent and the three-course meal for £23 felt like good value."

"Food is a bit over priced for what it is. I had a cheeseburger and fries. Nothing fancy about it so didn't warrant the £16 price tag. Dessert was lovely but obviously a microwave job. (Sticky toffee pudding) My friend wanted a caramel latte but was offered vanilla as replacement. When it arrived it tasted of cinnamon. We reminded the waitress that we'd ordered vanilla, she said yes. It's spiced vanilla But we hadn't been told that. We had to ASK her to replace it! Not great customer service. Lovely interior and well designed. Very large place with big garden out back- they had tables blocking the door way so not sure how you'd get out there?????"

"the renovated asthon is beautiful enough, but their chairs are so stained that it really leaves a bad impression and makes the whole place quite dirty. not an isolated chair all I've seen! eating is fair, but the roasting was not good with hard bark meat and a laughable broth sauce that had never seen brothcrumbs, nor one of the traditional aromen, but rather thrown with milk with a random green crumble. the last time I roasted here, I had to ask for fresh yorkshires, because the ones we all gave were hard-rocked. really do not cook well, I'm sorry. our desserts took minutes to get out, and with what time the accompanying coffees were all finished and we were mentally ready to go. on a positive note, the Servier staff are beautiful and very happy to help."

"Went for dinner on a Saturday night in December and selected from the Christmas menu. Mistake one. Cold turkey, hard sprouts and 1 carrot and 1 parsnip between 2 adults. Mistake two. Nearly 2 hours to deliver a 2 course meal, obviously down to booking in as many people as they can to gain profit. Mistake three. Why would a head chef let anything like this leave the kitchen? Surely a so called premium restaurant would have a head chef to stop this happening? Mistake four. Wrote to manager who stated next time we visit, we need to mention this bad experience and they will make sure we have a perfect experience this time. Never heard anything so ridiculous in all my years attending so called premium restaurants. You pay premium prices you expect premium food and service, the Mosbrook is miles off the later."

"As ever, the Black Horse came up trumps. A wonderful experience for the friend I took this time. And thankfully the weather was lovely so that we could sit outside, have a drink and wave at the long boats going by. I would recommend the Black Horse without hesitation."

"Waiting staff made several mistakes without any apology or trying to rectify the issue for us and we had to leave without eating. Firstly we had to swap an espresso martini as there was more foam than there was liquid and it came back exactly the same. My partner ordered Coca Cola and the waiter brought out a corona beer. My Sunday dinner main came out stone cold and I had to ask to return it. Again the waiting staff did not apologise for this. When the food came back without the vegetables on the plate, the sides we ordered were then cold and the beef was no longer pink, so the meal had clearly been stuck under an oven to heat it. Then the meal came out with no roast potatoes but were replaced with parsnips. It looked like it had just been thrown onto another plate after reheating but without half the components of the meal. After all this we decided that we didn’t want the meal anymore due to how badly the staff had handled this. One or two small errors is understandable but to have so many across the team (bar, waiting staff, and kitchen) is inexcusable and especially the lack of any kind of apology or enthusiasm to try and sort the situation. They offered no compensation for this other than to take the mains off the bill, and again there still was no apology and they didn’t even say goodbye when we left. It’s such a shame as me and my partner came the week before and had a lovely experience so we only put it down to the staff that were on that day. We also heard two other tables nearby complaining about other things to the staff, so it must not have been just us experiencing problems that day. Never had auch a poor experience in a restaurant, and this was all despite it being a quiet Sunday with not many guests."

"Really enjoyed the dirty burger and fries with the dripping sauce! Staff are nice and service was good. Didn't have a great experience last time with an I.D. situation for my daughter and her partner who's birthday it was and 25, had no I'd on her other than a picture of their passports and driving licence on their phone. Which was refused!, so we left, very unhappily. But we have been back and enjoyed it again. Just a shame that night was ruined. However, we will go back. Just make sure if you are lucky enough to not look 30! Have I.D. the service last night was much better. The food is generally very nice. Just don't have the Rumbaba dessert and is is just sponge cake an certainly not what you expect when you have the real thing in Italian restaurants."
