"I just want to pay my tributes to Maze Grill and the staff for the excellent experience we had when we visited you for dinner on New Years Eve! Me and my family felt ourself very special already from the entrance, the bar and throughout the whole dinner. Especially our headwaiter (think his name was Karnal? but also his colleagues had much to do but never failed in attention, on the contrary there where not a single second we had to wait or ask for anything. Nice details as when someone constantly have an eye if our glasses needed to be filled up or when our son dropped the fork he had a new one even faster than he could of picked it up himself from the floor. And we noticed that the staff picked up the napkins and folded it and put it back whenever someone went to toilet or so. And it never felt pushy or so, just nice and friendly discreet attention. And what about the food? The garlic shrimps for starter was great as a appetizer and the steak for main course was perfectly executed, as well as the chips and the cole slaw was to die for. Again the attention for detail was great since we had different choices all four of us. The sommelier presented the wines on an Ipad to choose from and we struck gold for choosing a red stellenbosch one. If we have anything to complain about the wine could of been a couple of degrees colder, it was room temperatur I believe. We could of said something but we didn´t since we already got our main courses. When we left Maze Grill for heading out for the fireworks the doorman helped us with a cab…all nice details that makes you feel happy to pay the bill even if its much more than you usually spend on a dinner as an ”average family”. We will certainly visit you again and we will look for other Ramsay restaurants whenever we travel abroad again. Hope you will find a place in Stockholm to start up a new restaurant someday! I wanted to share my experience at your establishment, The Allegory, located at 1a Principal Place, Worship Street, London, EC2A 2FA. Unfortunately, my partner and I found our meals to be quite disappointing. My partner's chicken skewers arrived lukewarm and seemed stale, as though they had been sitting out for a while or were reheated. I ordered the vegan taco as a starter, but it was unbearably spicy, making it difficult for me to enjoy the meal afterwards. I question whether it should have been that spicy. For my main course, I chose the vegan curry, which was also lukewarm and unappetizing. I managed to take a few bites but felt embarrassed to leave most of it uneaten, so I requested to take it with me. However, when I exited the restaurant, I was still hungry. Given the total of £42.75, I felt the price was quite steep for a meal that we did not enjoy. I have heard wonderful things about your restaurant and wonder if our experience was just an off day. We were genuinely disappointed in our culinary experience and I felt it was important to provide this feedback. Additionally, I would like to inquire if there might be a possibility of a reimbursement. "Vegetarian Options (Vegan upon request) WHAT WE HAD (3 Pax): 5 A Day £4.75] – Mint, Blackberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Greek Yoghurt and Apple Juice; Radiant Roots £5.95] – Apple, Carrot, Ginger, Celery and Fennel; Golden Mango £4.50] – Mango, Tumeric, Yoghurt and Almond Milk; Full Veggie (Specially Made Vegan) £8.95] – Beans, Spinach, Mushrooms, Avocado, Grilled Tomato and Toast; Buttermilk Chicken and Waffle £8.95] – Avocado, Sour Cream, Jalapenos and Chilli Maple Syrup I came here for breakfast with my friends as they wanted to try the Buttermilk Chicken and Waffle. I did know that they have vegetarian options from the menu we saw the day before, but wasn’t sure if they had anything vegan. It turns out that they did not have any specifically vegan items on the menu. However, the waitress and kitchen was very accommodating and made modifications to the full veggie breakfast for me. It was your typical full breakfast made vegan that was simple and cooked well with fresh produce. I really appreciate how helpful and accommodating the staff were, especially in answering my questions in assuring me it was vegan. Really made me feel at ease. My friends enjoyed their Buttermilk Chicken and Waffle too which was a good portion too. We all loved the juice and smoothies we ordered as well! We also had a look at their cocktail menu which intrigued us. Excellent customer service, good vibes with the bright and fun décor that is still classy, good food at reasonable prices, I do see myself coming back here for dinner/to try their cocktails if I find myself in Edinburgh again."

"Waiting staff made several mistakes without any apology or trying to rectify the issue for us and we had to leave without eating. Firstly we had to swap an espresso martini as there was more foam than there was liquid and it came back exactly the same. My partner ordered Coca Cola and the waiter brought out a corona beer. My Sunday dinner main came out stone cold and I had to ask to return it. Again the waiting staff did not apologise for this. When the food came back without the vegetables on the plate, the sides we ordered were then cold and the beef was no longer pink, so the meal had clearly been stuck under an oven to heat it. Then the meal came out with no roast potatoes but were replaced with parsnips. It looked like it had just been thrown onto another plate after reheating but without half the components of the meal. After all this we decided that we didn’t want the meal anymore due to how badly the staff had handled this. One or two small errors is understandable but to have so many across the team (bar, waiting staff, and kitchen) is inexcusable and especially the lack of any kind of apology or enthusiasm to try and sort the situation. They offered no compensation for this other than to take the mains off the bill, and again there still was no apology and they didn’t even say goodbye when we left. It’s such a shame as me and my partner came the week before and had a lovely experience so we only put it down to the staff that were on that day. We also heard two other tables nearby complaining about other things to the staff, so it must not have been just us experiencing problems that day. Never had auch a poor experience in a restaurant, and this was all despite it being a quiet Sunday with not many guests."
