"A dessert lover's paradise, and it’s not just for those who can eat gluten! Although the full menu isn't available gluten-free, they do offer delicious gluten-free waffles and pancakes, along with other delightful treats like macarons, chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate shots, and ice cream or gelato. I indulged in American waffles, a macaron, a white chocolate shot, and a mocktail. Everything was scrumptious, but I definitely needed to lie down afterward to recover from all the sugar! :D"

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"One day we were craving pizza so badly that we wanted to order from Domino's, but it was too expensive for two pizzas (20 pounds). We searched for a local pizzeria and came across Fallone's. The pizza was beautiful and of high quality, better than Domino's in terms of both price and taste. Although they forgot my sauce during delivery, they promptly corrected the mistake. Since then, Fallone's has become the only pizzeria I order from. A very satisfied customer!"

"we were several times in the napolita in the course of the years and had almost every time different experiences – mostly good, but not consistent. Overall, eating is very good and the menu is cleverly designed. the kitchen is definitiw of high quality. at our recent visit there were two people who served. the one who delivered our food was extremely friendly and went out of her to make sure we would enjoy our meal. the other who took the order and brought the bill was uninterested and certainly not friendly. she made a strange commentary with cash to pay, as well as she took the sign with the payment and a 10% money. and what? we may never know."

"After an awful journey taking 4 hours we met up with 4 other far traveled friends to begin a holiday nearby . we had done our research and booked Lunch several weeks ahead explaining we all had a long journey and time may be an issue. The welcome we had was superb, nothing was too much trouble for us weary travelers and the chef even stayed longer so we 6 could eat . Fantastic beautiful meal indeed and well worth the traffic chaos (I struggled to finish) the pies were superb, and pork loin melted in the mouth.Lots of local information from the manageress was invaluable and helped us. The location is fabulous . So much going on in this pub. every night something different. be sure to visit . we will definitely be going again when visit the area next time we would recommend this every time. "This is the first time I've ever visited one of these restaurants, it seemed a good option to choose when we were out with our daughter. We ordered her a kids meal, which was completely free as we were ordering an adult meal too. This is brilliant, and just the sort of things parents need more of! Our daughter's food also came first, and wasn't scalding hot like most other places. That's not to say it was cold, not by any means. It was ideal and it meant that we all finished near enough at the same time, not us sat there waiting for our daughter to finish! I had the Chicken Katsu noodles, which was delicious. I couldn't fault it! My partner had a Smoky Joe burger and he also enjoyed it. Our daughter's meal was fish fingers, with chips and beans which she loved. Plus she got a drink and a dessert too, (she chose Vanilla ice cream , and with it being free it was even better! The staff were mostly very good, but looked a little flustered. Needless to say, it was fairly busy, but we were not kept waiting! Improvements I would suggest would be a bigger restaurant, more people will definitely come! I will definitely visit here again! "My first visit to chaiwala 100% will be my last .. the food tasted like it was made a week ago just heated. The pav bhaji had absolutely no taste the chicken tikka was hard, rubbery, and tasted like it had been cooked days ago.. the chips were cold had a load of ketchup poured over the top. I was so disappointed after spending nearly £20 did not touch any of it. Your standards are way below expected you really do need to sort this out. The worst experience ever I will not be returning. "Being a local, it's great having a dessert place nearby. The major positive is that the food is actually pretty great but the poor customer service and very stingy portion sizes take away from it's appeal. I ordered brownies with chocolate recently costing around £7, the chocolate provided was a tiny shot glass worth which wasn't enough for the brownies given. I asked whether I could get more chocolate, even offered to pay for a chocolate shot £2 more) but instead got turned away and was told if I wanted more chocolate, I'd have to buy the whole dessert again. You'd think they could spare a bit more chocolate for a customer of 2 years. I now go to Heavenly Desserts whose food is just as good and far better portion sizes. Service is far superior too."

"I was in a party of 8. 5 adults a 4 children, 1 needing a highchair. We had 2 booths booked for us so that we would not be squashed which was very thoughtful. the children went on one table and were given a white paper table cloth and crayons. Kept them quiet!!!!. We had a lovely relaxing meal with excellent service. Food was well priced and very generous potions. I just wish the drinks could be fairly priced too. Its the same problem everywhere."

"A our stay was a last minute decision to avoid the snow in the west of England before our ferry crossing to Rotterdam. The Holiday Inn Hull Marina, was in an extremely convenient location for us. It was dog friendly and all the staff were so lovely. The hotel itself was clean, though showing its age and quite noisy (doors could not be closed quietly for example. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was particularly good and we were very well looked after by Lauren and Louis. Service: 5"

"I visited De Rougemont Manor on Wednesday the 28th of February for Afternoon Tea to celebrate my mum and aunts birthday. When the food was presented to us the crisps to me looked as if they had either been broken or it was at the end of the packet some of the sandwiches were dry and also the cakes had dried out from where I believe they had been cut too early. As a party of five adults and two children we had to keep asking for refills (cheese, jam etc) as we wasn't asked if we needed anything else, we was never asked once if we needed our tea or coffee replenished. I appreciate it may of been short staffed that day due to the weather (it was snowing on and off) as there only seemed to be one member of staff working in the bar/restaurant. I feel really disappointed that the day was ruined by this as it was meant to be a nice get together for joint birthday celebrations. Also I have contacted the hotel and have not had any response back from them which again is awful customer service. All in all I will not be returning unless things are thoroughly improved and what should of been a lovely day celebrating was not."

"I don't mind paying extra, in fact I would prefer to more for food to ensure the quality is there which I why I was excited to try this place. Upon ordering, very slow service .... the buttermilk chicken burger came and it was cold. Worst than the temperature was the fact it was thigh meat which was grey/pink and tough. I think if you are charging £10 for a chicken burger on its own then you have to use breast and if you are not, then clearly state that. Also if you are serving thigh I would ensure it was hot so it does highlight the cheap meat. Fair play to Mustard as they did take this off the bill as I couldn't eat it but I was just left hungry and disappointed then. Presentation and seasoning is good but service, quality and pre-serving checks need to be improved. From reading all other reviews, I think I could of just ordered the wrong thing and they let some cold food slip out."

"I went for pre show dinner and found it very convenient nearby the Lowry. There are roadworks just outside the hotel at present so it didn’t look great from the outside, but the interior is fresh and modern. Very comfortable dining and really lovely staff. The tapas was tasty and beautifully served. It made a nice change from the eateries close by to the theatre and was only a 12 minute walk along the canals- which was also very pleasant! I would go again."

"We have now enjoyed a Sunday lunch, which was really good quality food, in a lively setting, we even had background music! Only slight criticism was the tables were a bit close to each other but we were a party of 10, the que for food was also a bit disconcerting as there was a constant flow of people brushing against our seats. The two occasions we have had afternoon tea we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The first time we were given a cup of coffee the second time we were given a pot and were told we could ask for a refill. We have also been to a themed night {Indian} the food was to the normal high standard but again we felt hemmed in and due to our table position were unable to see the dancers, who did not perform for very long. Overall really good food but a bit crowded for Sunday lunch and themed nights."
