"Would have given it 0 stars if it was an option. After being a regular customer for the better part of the last year. I have definitely seen this business crumble, perhaps due to a change of management after not seeing the usual regular happy faces I used to. Staff clearly aren’t happy there and if you listen close enough when sat in, you will hear the new senior staff speak to their staff with such disrespect. Food has gone downhill, used to be the best by far in harrogate, now I wouldn’t feed it to my worst enemy. If you want soggy waffles and undercooked cookie dough, then this is the best place for you! Not to mention the serious lack of hygiene and food safety. As for the staff, most are very polite and give good service, credits to them for working in such an underperforming and most likely underpaying environment! Shame really to see what was such a successful place fall to the ground, don’t see it being there much longer!"

"our goal was to go flat iron, but after they gave us hours waiting time, we decided to try our change at the opposite door byron. we do not regret it. less waiting time, friendly and helpful staff. one of us tried classic burgers and the other tried cheeseburger. teller were satisfied and delicious. as dessert I tried chocolate brownie and it was delicious."

"We initially had a reservation for afternoon tea but decided to switch to the regular menu instead. The staff appeared to have no issue with this change. However, during this visit, we encountered a significant problem; we were told it would be classified as a no-show and that we would be charged for it. Earlier in the week, I had also called to reserve a table for afternoon tea at 1:30 PM, but I was told to arrive at 12 PM because the 1:30 slot was unavailable. We ended up staying until 2:40 PM, so it was clear there was no need for us to change our reservation. Additionally, our table was not properly cleaned, and we ended up ordering food via the app after our afternoon tea because we did not receive any service during our visit."

"Lovely looking restaurant. Wasn't very busy when we ate. My steak was warm my partners was very nice. One of my side didn't even arrive until until I had finished my steak even though I was told it was coming when food was delivered and then had to ask again and still waited 15 minutes. Partner also rang 4 days before as it was my birthday and in the day to remind asking if they could do a surprise for me (I didn't know until we had left) and nothing even though they had told her they would. We had paid 165 quid which is a lot of money for us. But service was awful and didn't have prawns in stock either. Will defo not be returning. Much better places t9 visit in the area.."

"Website is deceiving, and does not show the reality. The website is beautifully designed, and visually opulent giving the impression of a large, plush interior. The menus included brunch, main, dessert and drinks. The actual restaurant is very small cafe, with extended outside seating, with a few staff members lounging around. Arriving for lunch at 12 noon, the whole place was empty, and booking was unnecessary. The staff were disinterested in our arrival. We had to seat ourselves. Seating was comfortable. When asking for a menu, were told to scan a QR code on the table, and when trying to order from the main menu, was told that only the brunch menu was available. The smoked salmon and scrambled egg dish was nicely done and tasty. The ice tea was overly sweet, but the coffee was decent. It was clearly a Muslim eating place, posing as an European restaurant, with the name 'Boulevard '. That Friday, a crowd of Muslim men from the nearby mosque in Regent 's Park came in after prayers. They were treated differently, excitedly welcomed. It was clearly their regular haunt. It felt like an eating place for Muslims, where non-Muslims were not particularly welcomed. However, the other customers were friendly, and more polite than the staff. It was quiet and easy to talk, until the crowd arrived. Overall, the price for the meal was not worth the experience of eating there. Service charge was included, although service was bad. We would not go back."

"I visited Putney Canteen to meet my friend Danielle Kinsella for brunch a few weeks ago. I had heard about this place on Zomato and wanted to try it out. I opted for the vegetarian breakfast, which included 2 poached eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, a vegetarian sausage, a hash brown, spinach, and toast. I was disappointed that the eggs were overcooked and not runny. Despite this, the rest of the breakfast was a good value for the price. We also shared the delicious banana pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup. We sat near the kitchen and enjoyed reading more about the restaurant."

"my first time at a byron. I fought late lunch for my birthday with the family. my daughters have always swung over the burgers, so I thought I would try something else than I am not a huge burger fan in that. you have to say it was **** beautiful! I had the byron burger with a side of sweet potato and courgette frits. I couldn't decide between the 2 so that they let me share the half of each in one the staff was beautiful and our waitress was great. she gave me very kindly the most tasty free warm brownie with dark chocolate drizzled over it and a good doll delicious ice cream as it was my birthday. would definitely go back there and recommend friends"

"This restaurant boasts a great location, convenient parking, and hearty portion sizes, making it a promising choice. However, vegetarians and chicken lovers may find their options somewhat limited. While the space can feel a bit tight for larger groups, the cozy atmosphere and adequate seating are definitely positives. The friendly staff enhances the dining experience, although there is still some room for improvement in service. With an average cost of £20 to £35 per person for a starter, main course, and drink, I’m definitely looking forward to coming back in the future. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"Ed was out waiter for the evening, and I would just like to say that this very kind and polite young man made our evening magical. Ed was faultless throughout our experience here at Zizzi’s, given our experience we received we will definitely be coming back to see Ed again in the future."

"I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was very impressed. The price per person ranged between £20-£30. The food was excellent, I would give it a 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, receiving another 5 out of 5 rating. The atmosphere was quite nice, scoring a 4 out of 5. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal."

"July 2nd, It was our first evening returning to shop inthe city centre, and we noted that the doors of this restaurant were open again. We hadn't planned on eating out but they were so welcoming . We were hooked and were able to get a table for 2 unreserved with a welcome smile from everyone. It was calm restful indoors with plenty seating outside but a bit chilly so we got a table on the high stools next to the glass shielded bar counter. We had great menu choices and our server was delightful. Staff and Management wear cool face visors, plenty of hand sanitisers throughout. One use paper menus on all the tables. My friend had the Cornstore Beefburger with a tarragon mayo with she really enjoyed. I had a medium Ribeye Steak with Peppercorn sauce and a recommended side of mash. It was a delight. Bathrooms were spotless and everyone well distanced throughout. Well done to all, the experience gladdened our hearts and souls during these extraordinary times and we felt in safe hands.(My reason for 4 stars for the food instead of 5 would be that the steak would be even better value and flavour with a few FF onion rings or sauté onions to enhance the finished dish. Seemed very plain compared to a premium beefburger that has more bells and whistles and value if deciding to eat beef.."

"Walking into a burger place as a vegetarian doesn't seem like the most logical choice, but I stand corrected; what a restaurant! Walked into a spacious, beautifully industrial space, with more than enough (authentic! seating and fantastic atmosphere. And don't be fooled, the vegetarian bean burger can actually replace any ordinary hamburger on the menu. Very delighted to see them do that. Burgers seem a bit small when served, but will leave you filled to the top. Fair priced, wholesome delicious food vegetarian ready. Love it!"

"Yesterday, my family and I visited The Old Friar for Sunday dinner to celebrate Mother's and Father's Day. When we arrived, the young host who greeted us seemed unaware of our reservation for 7. We were seated next to a window covered with numerous flies, which made us uncomfortable. Despite politely asking to be moved, we were told there was nothing they could do about the flies. Our food took three attempts to get right, and my son's burger arrived without the cheese and speck we had ordered. When we mentioned this to the waiter, a red-haired lady came over and accused us of lying. This confrontation was embarrassing and upsetting, especially for my son. The service was incredibly poor, and we felt humiliated throughout our meal. We will not be returning to The Old Friar, as our experience was marred by rude and insulting service. The only positive aspect was that the food was decent, though overpriced. I urge others to avoid this restaurant due to the terrible service and lack of professionalism."

"I really enjoyed visiting Spoon Street frozen yogurt bar on the Upper Newtownards Road, so was delighted when a branch opened in Belfast city centre's Ann Street. I visited last week and thoroughly enjoyed it, trying the dairy free lemon (quite tarte) and watermelon (sweet tasting) options which the staff told me were dairy free because they are fruit based sorbets. These sorbets have a richer, creamier consistency than traditional sorbet, being more like whipped ice cream. All the usual toppings are available ranging from healthy fruits to sweets and chocolates. I did notice there seemed to be fewer flavour options in the city centre location than at Newtownards Road. Perhaps more seating space and less dispensing machines. I will definitely return, but as it's now October, it may be the summer months before I visit this or any other frozen yogurt bar again. The novelty of frozen yogurt is beginning to wear off a bit for me. Also who wants to eat such cold food during icy winter months?! Fabulous when summer sun is shining, but possibly not an all year round activity. Maybe they should diversify into mulled wine over winter time..."

"The restaurant is lovely, light and airy with plenty to look at. The food is excellent. I had the watermelon and feta salad my husband the broccoli soup. Both were excellent. For seconds I had the pork belly my husband fish and chips. We thought a whale had landed the piece of fish was that large. Again beautifully cooked. Desert was delicious, chocolate brownie, strawberry cheese cake and salted caramel cake. Yum. Only complaint is the menu on the website is totally different to the menu we were given. Hence why my husband ended up with posh fish and chips. However, this didn't really detract from a very nice meal."

"We held our wedding reception at The Kite and it was an exceptional day! We wanted a venue that would cater to our needs and Ben and his team were amazing to work with. They listened to our ideas, provided valuable guidance, and made sure everything was perfect. Ben was always available to answer our questions and made the lead up to our big day stress-free. On the day itself, the attention to detail was outstanding. The food was delicious, the staff were wonderful, and they took care of everything so we could truly enjoy our wedding day. The Kite exceeded our expectations, providing us with a relaxed atmosphere, amazing food, and a fantastic party. Our guests couldn't stop praising the staff, food, and venue. Thank you to Ben, Jess, Olly, Henry, and the rest of the team for giving us the perfect day. We wish we could do it all over again!"

"I visited this restaurant with my daughter yesterday. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the entrance with its chipped paint, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor inside and the spacious and relaxed atmosphere. We opted for the lunch menu, which was £10 per person including a drink. The burgers were delicious, the service was quick, and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is conveniently located next to the metro station. I even took a cocktail menu home with me for a girls' night out. I definitely recommend this restaurant."

"accommodating. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary, but still enjoyable. However, when we returned for dinner a few days later, the service was disappointing. The waitress seemed disinterested and took a long time to take our order. Overall, a mixed experience with great service during the day and poor service at night."

"I came here for my friend's wedding in October and the hall was absolutely gorgeous. The grounds were incredible and the onsite cafe did the best full English! Rooms: I stayed in the Shepherds Hut on my own, the double bed was comfortable and the bonus of having an ensuite was great. The tea/coffee station was a welcoming site the morning after the wedding. Food drinks: The food at the Heritage Cafe was incredible. I went here for breakfast both days of my stay and the staff were really accommodating to my dietary requirements and very quick with the service. The price for what you got was great! As I was at the Hall for a wedding, my friend had opted for the Afternoon Tea as her wedding breakfast and the food was amazing. I really loved the little cup of soup (might need to ask for the recipe) and the chocolate/cherry mousse was my favourite out of the desserts.
