"Shame this place was half empty on a World Cup match night perhaps it has to do with the fact the music is so loud (before and after) you can’t even chat…. Even when we asked (with the pub empty). Perhaps if they remembered they were not a club and acted like a pub more people would come and spend some time enjoying a PUB ENVIRONMENT."

"I have to be honest: this was the most unpleasant food and drink establishment I've ever visited. We had a reservation, but the table hadn't been cleaned. The entire place really needs a deep cleaning, and the staff could benefit from better training; nobody seemed to know whether our table was reserved or not. After wandering around, we found a table marked with a printout that we could only assume was ours. The menus were sticky, making it hard to even look at them. I was unable to order food through the app because there was no signal. After standing in a long line to order, I finally reached the register, only to be told that most items on the menu were unavailable and that we would have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for our food to arrive. My family and I decided to leave. Fortunately, we found a much better restaurant across the street where we had a fantastic time."

"Awful service, awful food, do not recommend. Took 2hrs to arrive, luke warm, cheapest inedible sausages (not sure they were even pork? . Called cafe when delivery was taking too long and so so rude, started shouting at me! Incredibly bad, save your money or go elsewhere."

"edit 24/04/22 for brunch visited. large selection, well presented and good size components. sherwood is a little limited for breakfast options, so these informations can be useful. it was 31 degrees outside, a jump of 10 degrees the day before, and we felt it! stained vegan ice and sorbet, so very grateful immersed while passing. super friendly and helpful staff. there were about half a dozen vegan ice creams to choose from. the ones we had were fabulous. we also bought cakes to go home with a biscuit cake and dripping butter chocolate disc, and these were only divine. we have not seen the hearty menu, but if the puddings are all to go past, it is worth when they are in sherwood. updated by previous review on 2019-07-01"

" couple of weeks ago and I must say, it was well worth the wait. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food is absolutely delicious. "THE food here is really nice cannot fault it at all but the service and time we had to wait for it was ridiculous 5.30 table booked well in advance was seated until near on 6 due to table not being ready once was seated and finally had our order taken it took over an hour for it to arrive so not eating until gone 7 when booked at 5.30 is not really on!!! We then had dessert which was beautiful and paid for the bill as to which the waitress didn't give us our change back and just turned round and said oh did u want your change back? Which was rude in my opinion cause then she kicked us straight of the table as they had another booking!!! I would come back again to try but maybe not a Saturday as the gluten free menu was brilliant for my daughter and she loved it as the food was really nice but if this happened again I wouldn't return for the 3rd time so I advise don't come here if you are in a rush!!!"

"Sarnies is my favourite place to stop for a bit of lunch or breakfast in coventry. I work all over coventry, so I do try many other places, but Sarnies is my favourite. The service is good and the prices are very reasonable. There is never much of a wait, and the food is always bang on. Whenever im in the area, i always swing by and grab something. "Slough's best hidden gem, offering outstanding value, top-quality ingredients, and exceptional customer service. I recently stopped by and was pleasantly surprised to find more food for a lower price compared to the nearby Subway. I ordered a poppy seed baguette with a generous amount of filling and all the salad options. The portion size did not disappoint, and I left feeling satisfied. I will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10 recommend."

"Great location, tucked away in Liverpool Street. Lively bar scene, with a great outdoor area. There was an initial mix up with the booking as Open Table was listing table availability that did not match with actual availability at the venue; I would recommend calling ahead to confirm your OT booking with the restaurant itself to avoid confusion. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly despite this, working to accommodate our booking request anyway. We received prompt service throughout the evening, despite how busy it was on the Bank Holiday. Food and drinks were great quality at a fair price. Would recommend and would return."

"I stopped by this restaurant while working nearby, planning to just grab a bacon sandwich. However, after seeing the cozy interior and enticing menu, I opted for a full breakfast instead. For only £6, I received bacon, sausage, chips, egg, beans, and a cup of tea - what a great deal! The meal was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be coming back next week."

"I think that on this site a few films have been filmed (or at least use the outside of the pubs), but I could be wrong about it. I really enjoyed eating. the house salad was great because it was really beautifully presented and had a full of delicious ingredients. it was very delicious. I recommend that the hunch. there were people at the front of the pub that seemed to be local, which made the atmosphere even more beautiful. there is a large screen TV for those who enjoy sport and there is also a small table close to the screen for those who need to be close. there are seating in the upper floor, which offer a beautiful view of the holy trinity church and the beautiful stone streets."

"This place has gone down hill! When I used to come here, nearly weekly in Summer, the food was amazing. When I last came, the food was atrocious! I ordered a large breakfast and the bacon was practically oinking. My partner ordered poached eggs with his breakfast and when he cut into it, the eggwhite was liquid. We are not ones to complain but it was abysmal. I'm not sure what has happened to the old chef, but this one needs a lesson in how to cook basic breakfast foods. I saw that their sign asking for staff has gone, so maybe the new chef needs more training (or better yet, a new profession). However, I cannot faulter the servers. They have always been extremely helpful and happy the coffee's we got are some of the best in Brighton!"
