"very disappointed to find the restaurant closed when we arrived for a 75th birthday dinner for my mother. I had to find another place at short notice (sartoria obligated and was very good) not sure why open table bookings accepted and confirmed when the restaurant has closed"

"The food at this restaurant was excellent, but despite making a reservation, we still had to wait. The staff seemed more apologetic towards walk-in customers who also had to wait. The service was okay, but not exceptional, and while the food was good, it was pricey compared to other establishments on Edgware Road. We were expecting a superior experience compared to other restaurants in the area, but instead, we received a similar one at a higher cost. It may be beneficial for the restaurant to reconsider how they justify their prices."

"The only disappointment was where we were seated: people were standing behind us and kept knocking into our chairs because they were very drunk. Perhaps they should seat people who are eating separately from those who are drinking. I had to speak to them to ask them to stop knocking into our chairs. The waitress was amazing, although I didn't catch her name. She kept asking if we wanted our drinks refilled so we didn't have to go to the bar. The food was absolutely outstanding."

"I came away from this restaurant thinking that they do classic Meat and Fish dishes extremely well and with an extra twist. Their T-Bone steak was amazing and so was the catch of the day. Seems like real thought and invention was put into the side plates and they were a real joy; the chippy chips, Halloumi Fries and Peanut Butter Cornbread. I also had a few Cherry Sours which were amazing. We were sat next to the toilets and kind of felt away from the main restaurant and ambience so that's the only minor negative point for me. However the food more more than made up for it."

"The service was also lacking; the waiting staff seemed inexperienced and could have benefited from additional training. Their uniforms were a disheveled ochre color that looked unappealing, and the plates we were served on were not very clean. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time for the bill, the staff did not even bother to offer any compensation for the missing main course. Overall, I cannot recommend this place."

"First of all, because I used to work within the industry I am always with my eyes on my watch. we have been a party of 10, a birthday party actually. 2 from my party have ordered Aperol spritz which no one said at the beginning that you don't sell that, they came after 1 hour and a half, together with a round of drinks that we ordered 7:45. Secondly, it is the first time I am going somewhere, I have a booking and the people I am waiting to come to my party have to wait and queue to get to me. why do I have a booking again? but the doorman explained policies. the same doorman who cannot make the difference between someone's slow speech because he is suffering from stutter and some who is drunk. and when we all tried to explain it, well, apparently we argue and we are all drunk so we cannot go back inside. Overall, the worst experience ever, and it was a birthday party. Thank you Salsa Bar"

"Service was awful, keep asking are we ready to order every minute we didn’t have time to go through the menu. Was not helpful with questions, the waiter was not happy with answering question about the menu items, when we asked the waiter for recommendations and he said everything. The second time we told him we need some more time on the menu, he rolled his eyes and walked away. Finally when we are ready to order, he told us to our face “thanks God that took you two hours”. We arrived the restaurant at 6:35, waited a bit to be seated and we ordered at 6:50 we did not take a long time to order. Worst hospitality ever the aggression is unnecessary. Food was average could’ve used some recommendations if the waiter was professional and willing to explain the menu a bit more. Overall just avoid this place at all costs, you can find better seafood restaurant in Brighton."

"We had the rib-eye and the fritto misto… as a main the misto was really not substantial and felt more like a starter. The Rib Eye lacked flavour and was whatever the opposite of succulent is. Super disappointing. Service was a bit lack lustre and while the staff were perfectly nice it didn’t feel special in any way. Highly disappointing evening… the best bit was the padron peppers and rosemary fries, got home and we were still hungry! Definitely a fantastic beautiful venue but in the “can do better” category. Maybe they were just having an off night."

"Dear All, I’ve been frequenting Little Persia for years, as my girlfriends and I enjoyed smoking shisha by the little red heaters and appreciated the cosy feel of the restaurant. It was one of those places I would always take my visitors to. However, the last two-three visits have been quite appalling. The place itself has a really shabby feeling to it and isn’t well maintained at all. It was also freezing as they’ve become really stingy with using their heaters, or simply aren’t bothered to fix them. We were told they weren’t working, so on my third and final visit we decided to smoke shisha indoors, and both my friend and I had to keep our coats on even inside. The restaurant needs a major make over and new management, what a real shame. Finally they have stopped accepting cards so make sure you have cash on you, the prices also seem to fluctuate even though we order the same things each time. I really try to avoid these type of shady and uncertain transactions, it’s just a pretty unpleasant way to end your evening."

"I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My group was one of only two tables there during lunchtime. I ordered the Ramen with an additional £2 charge for tonkatsu and £1 charge for a soft boiled egg. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for the dish to come out, and when it did, the noodles were soaked in broth, the egg was overcooked, and the tonkatsu was dry. I took a picture of the ramen as the waiter was collecting it and informed him of my dissatisfaction, but did not request anything else. As someone who used to work in restaurants, I understand that everybody has off days. However, what really disappointed me was that the management never came to our table to apologize, even though we were one of only two tables in the restaurant. This lack of attention to customer service is why I can only give this restaurant a 1-star rating. If you're looking for sushi in Paisley, I would recommend going to Okome instead."

"We have been coming here for years and have always been satisfied. Until this weekend. The new menu offers little variety and certainly doesn 't meet the expectations of those looking for a 'Sunday roast pub ', with chicken being the only option and minus any chance of getting a Yorkshire pudding. My greatest shock came when my 18mo son was served his lunch on a dangerously scorching hot plate, with chips that were covered in salt. He was given no cutlery as I was told the premises didn 't have small forks or spoons for children. I suggest you revise your options for Sunday lunch and that you look at improving safety measures when serving young children. We will not be coming back."

"I called to make a reservation and the phone line was busy. However, they promptly returned my call, which was perfect. The welcome at the restaurant was friendly and welcoming, making us feel like regulars even though it was our first time there. The food was the best we have had in the KT area. The service was also exceptional. Overall, it was a wonderful evening with delicious food!"

"My party and I visited Poppie's after a full day exploring London. Despite arriving earlier than our reservation, we were promptly seated and served delicious food in a timely manner. However, the staff seemed to be in a bad mood and failed to mention that the tip was already included when I inquired about adding it. As a result, I unintentionally tipped twice and was not informed of the mistake. The service, while efficient, lacked friendliness."

"The majority of the dishes were fantastic, but the Dover sole was both overpriced and lacked flavor. The waiter seemed to not adequately clarify how the pricing worked based on weight. While it's true we didn't review the menu beforehand, the waiter did inquire if it was our first visit."

"We decided to try this restaurant for the first time because we are considering moving nearby and wanted to check out the local dining options. The experience was great, with some unique menu items like the hähnchenkatsu burger that we had never tried before and absolutely loved. The dining room was cozy and the service was excellent, making us feel well taken care of by the friendly team. The atmosphere in the bar area was lively without being intrusive to the dining room, and the overall value for the price was definitely worth a return visit."

"Only people in the restaurant. Now we know why. The poor waiter was on his own and looked like he was working the bar as well. Food took forever and was cold. the menu was missing lots of items. This was a celebratory meal with our families for our engagement and they had travelled an hour and half to come for it. Think living room should have warned us and we would have booked elsewhere. Not even an apology or warning until we complained at the end. Just stick to drinks and stop doing food!"

"no good experience at all, ordered a takeaway and in the rule is zorba fantastic, but the meat was over boiled and chewy, the Bulgarian rice was dry and tasteless, the chips were soggy and undercooked and the brot was changed from a flatbread to a thick naan type brot that is not so delicious. a very disappointing experience. I'm gonna go to another one from now on. as a shame as this was my favorite withdrawal earlier, but I don't know what happened"
