"Prices up Quality down The menu online has different prices than in the restaurant. Same menu online £1 £5 cheaper (eg steak tartare online £14.5, in the restaurant £18). I have added a pic of the online menu. I used to dine in the group a lot. Always walk in, very nice and relaxing restaurants. Have been in most of them. Haven’t visited for a while and I wanted to treat my friend for her birthday. What a big mistake! The quality has gone down a lot! Please see points below 1. Octopus salad more of a side salad. The octopus was cut as thin as the thickness of a paper leaf 2. Fried Calamari used to be the best, now mediocre 3. Burrata summer leaf (summer leaf is 4 leaves of random iceberg) 4. Steak tartare used to be the best, not bad but not the best. Small portion and expensive 5. Chocolate Sundae really? One small ice coop of chocolate ice cream, one ice coop of vanilla ice cream and 3 TINY pieces of brownie 6. Pannacota really tasty and refreshing 7. Service was very good! We had all our food. It was just not the standard we are used to."

Standard fare. Nice setting, not cheap but not super expensive.

Staff are inconsistent. Service is slow/poor. Venue is nice and had a nice outside area considering location but service is not “quick” View menu

I made a reservation at this restaurant and received a confirmation, but when I arrived, it was closed. There was no notice indicating any issues. This happened on Sunday, May 14th, at 1 PM.

This restaurant is part of the Cubitt House group, which is why we chose it. However it is as good as their other establishments. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We had possibly one of the worst meals we've ever experienced. What was supposed to be a £4 bottle of wine turned out to cost us £65, and the food was cold and nearly inedible. The staff were good and efficient, which was the only highlight in an otherwise disappointing meal. View menu

Lovely food, very lively post-work type of atmosphere. Was sat next to a large crowd of office workers who were having after work drinks. Had booked the pre-theatre 2 course deal, but they had unfortunately stopped doing this. They had tried to contact me during the day, but we had been busy sightseeing, so had missed the calls. Would have been beneficial if they had left a message as I had no idea who the missed calls were from/about.

we came to find our table for six, were not furnished or reserved (because it doesn't rain any outside after the manager). the manager had to be contacted to deal with the problem and was very fluent, although we had preordered some days before. the main problem seemed that there were no foresight and personal problems. the drinks arrived slowly, but after that the service and the food we had ordered improved was delicious. it seemed just a waitress and the manager who commanded for a busy restaurant.
