"Waitress was lovely and very attentive which was good. Lots of items on the menu not in stock, and what we did receive were small portions. Considering The Living Room is supposed to be a nice high end place to dine, they couldn't even make homemade chips and instead served frozen which is not good at all. Not good value for money at all and there are other venues which provide better quality of food at cheaper prices, no wonder it was quiet in the restaurant. The waitress was the only asset to the venue."

I was never informed that it was permanently closed until I checked the day before to check my booking and no one answered.

As only one chef in the kitchen and others diners telling us that they had waited over an hour for main course we opted to leave and find another restaurant.

The only reason I scored low for ambiance was because we were the only people in the restaurant. However everything else was lovely. Our Bar man waiter Joey was fantastic and did everything to make our visit really nice. He is an asset to you!!!

had the best steak ever from there, but the part of the chips that came with him was very small and they ran out of mais of the cob as side. the person with me had the teriyaki chickenburger and loved him (their portion thinner fret was also quite big! View menu

This is the second time of booking this restaurant, first time we were turned away at the door even though we had a reservation because I had my year old daughter with me and she wasn’t old enough. We were not informed of this requirement at the time of booking. Second time my daughter was now so we’re already to get ready for dinner out when the restaurant rang to cancel the booking as apparently the chef was ill. Maybe third time lucky or not

Only people in the restaurant. Now we know why. The poor waiter was on his own and looked like he was working the bar as well. Food took forever and was cold. the menu was missing lots of items. This was a celebratory meal with our families for our engagement and they had travelled an hour and half to come for it. Think living room should have warned us and we would have booked elsewhere. Not even an apology or warning until we complained at the end. Just stick to drinks and stop doing food!

"The place seems unprofessionally run. The staff all look like they could do with a bath. No overalls are worn and their clothes are all of the type that many would wear to lounge around the house in . Several have longer hair and beards but don’t wear any kitchen p.p.e. The decor is shabby and I wondered what kind of hygiene rating they would have. Although not busy, the staff seemed to be disorganised, falling over eachother and lacking in training. They seemed to handle the food in an inexperienced, clumsy fashion. The only tool I saw being used was a pizza peel for taking the pizza in and out of the oven. On all other occasions the food was handled. I didn’t notice any hand washing or alcohol gel in evidence. The menu is quite limited and uninspiring. 2 of the 6 pizza choices include chicken which Italians would argue is definite no no! All pizzas are reheated to order which eliminates the possibility of customisation. I don’t believe the restaurant would stand out in many European countries, as pizza in general is of a much higher standard than that in the UK. In spite of the above, The basic pizza is excellent in taste (even though it is all re-heated). And for this reason it is worth a visit. Compared to other uk pizza restaurants which are typically serving absolute garbage, the food is way out in front. If you can tolerate the negatives I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with the pizza. However with a bit of effort, this place could be transformed into something truly amazing."
