"I've been trying to try this place for a long time, and I managed to go yesterday and I have to say it definitiw tasty (I got the loaded philly chese steak) but from my experience it was definitiw a little over price for what I actually got. £9.89 for a meal is a little on the expensive side, considering that the cheese steak fell apart and soggy and was a struggle to eat physically. I guess I can forgive myself for the taste. I'll try a burger next time and make my decision."

"Today we went here and tried a few bits. We had Tacos, wings, vegan wings, cod chips before moving to a sticky toffee and chocolate brownie. Their wings are the main reason for our visit and to be fair they didn’t disappoint (very good), the cod was also nice and flakey (not to meaty or greasy), lastly the tacos, they were not good and left a lot to be desired they had very little flavour and I would not order again if revisiting. Overall it was nice but not amazing. We had sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie for deserts, these looked lovely but unfortunately again were not great. The staff were really nice which is always a plus. Yet for our meal we spent €100 which I would say is pricey enough for somewhere away from the city centre."

"So, what of the question of Le Comptoir serving authentic Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine Well, given the way in which the tagines were presented, including the depth of flavour achieved in all three, and given how impressive the starters were, we'd say pretty darn authentic....It was certainly some of the best tagines we've had in London, and comparable to the ones we've had at Zayane in Notting Hill which is on the Michelin Guide. Surprisingly, this restaurant is a relatively unknown one within London's Halal restaurant scene; but one that deserves far more recognition for its uncompromising flavours. In fact, one of the starters, viz. the Chicken Pastilla, could just be in the running for our end of year awards, it was that good. "The hot foods such as Tempoura and Spring Rolls or Octopus Balls are excellent. The sushi was just a farewell. The ribbed eye maki tasted as if it had been left out all day. Bill was higher than I expected when one looked at his half price, like about £75 for 2 of us. Beverages and dessert were not half the price, but only had 1 beer, Japanese tea and a mock tail, so would not be the full price here."

"Had a roast here, was very nice. Only down side was we looked at the menu online to see they did Turkey, but when we arrived they didn't have any. a little bit disappointed as we picked this pla e for the Turkey Roast. Had the beef instead and it was lovely. My partner had the Lamb which was also tender and lovely. Will definitely be back again, hopefully when they are serving Turkey . Price per person: £40–50"

"our oldest daughter had eaten here before and enjoyed eating. modern european with a Caribbean swirl is a good overall description of the menu and the aromen and ingredients of the dishes I ordered, certainly boring. the salt fish and akee starters were light, tender and pretty with a good amount of taste. followed the spicy bark with garlic and broccoli strands. there was in my view exactly the right amount of heat that tasted the palette antique and the flesh in the mouth in a wonderful sauce. the maische was well made, but I would personally welcome more garlic and the broccoli was cooked directly with a small amount of bite. a large selection of dressed, my wife enjoyed the same main before the suppe of the day, flower cauliflower and kumin, that was silky smooth and lightly seasoned and my daughter did not lack for food, though vegan. after their appetizer the curtain followed a herbal curry with the same garlic mash instead of the rice. both set menus that are good for 2/3 dishes, and al a carter are available along with a good selection of wines and cocktails. I loved the ambiente, comfortable chairs, reasonable but inconspicuous music and attentive staff. we will come back when we visit margate."

"After taking a walk along the coast and returning, we were quite hungry. Unfortunately, most places had already closed for the day, and we were disappointed to find out that the local fish and chip shop in Lizard doesn't offer Gluten Free options. However, we were relieved to stumble upon this restaurant. The staff was accommodating and showed us the menu with gluten-free options. They promptly served us drinks and the food arrived not long after. The meal was delicious and satisfying!"

"The surf and turf sharer was mediocre, with a small lobster and lacking in vegetables. The scallops for the starter were not cooked well, being pan-fried without much color. Parking is conveniently available right in front of the restaurant with a barrier for protection. The service was average. This was a dinner meal costing around £80-90 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere were all rated 3 out of 5. Additionally, there is a free parking lot available for customers."

"It was such a pleasant experience in here. Me and my bf went there for lunch, and we sat in a lovely booth with a sea view. I ordered mussels cooked in white wine and cream sauce. My bf had the prawn cocktail. As a main we both had the lobster thermidor. The quality of food here is top notch. And service from staff was excellent. Our server Eammon in particular really looked after us well and made sure everything was ok. I highly recomend this place if you are looking for a nice seafood meal. "We dined here last night, on an overnight stay in Inverness. I had the homemade chicken liver pate starter, rib eye surf n turf and the date and ginger pudding. My better half had the Prawn and mango starter, rump of lamb, and posset dessert. All carefully crafted, nicely presented and with great produce. The meats and seafood were outstanding. Pleasant staff, always willing to help. A little gem. Forgot to take any pics, as the nosh was too tempting."

"Wow what an amazing place we hadn’t booked and were attending a show at Liverpool Empire so our schedule was tight. Upon entering we were given a seat straight away. Within minutes we were asked for our drinks order and we gave that as well as our food order. Only 8 minutes later the food and drink arrived!! Amazing service. The food was piping hot, well presented and served with a smile. It was perfect and VERY delicious indeed one of my favourite all time Turkish meals. The surroundings were beautiful and the staff were amazing and cheerful. We will most definitely return here. Please, if you are in Liverpool looking for somewhere to eat then you simply MUST visit Shiraz Palace you will not be disappointed!"

"came twice a day here (since midday and then again later in the evening). visited during a 7-day boat holiday. such a nice friendly atmosphere here, the burger and chips were delicious. I drank san miguel and later in the evening, came out again for drinks and teller of chips, then sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. large quantities and quality. the service is not correct, although with serving meals, only wish that they eat the time so that we all close to eat the same on our table. there were 4 of us and 2 dinners first came 5 minutes later someone else and last mine lasted the longest 10 minutes, while everyone had almost finished their dinner and was on their second drink. If I'm ever back, I'll be back."

"Visited here with my daughter and grandparents two weeks ago and wanted to say how impressed we all were. The quality of the meals was of very high standards all round and presented excellently too. Home made desserts were amazing also and I highly recommend the mixed nut frangipane! Everything is very reasonably priced, the service was on point also. It's a place where you can dress smart casual or wear formal and you will not feel out of place. If anyone has a special occasion coming up it's somewhere I'd definitely say is worth bearing in mind, you will not be disappointed. From start to finish, even the coffees to conclude, it all made for a great evening out and left us all with good impressions. Can't wait to return. Thank you Quayside Plaza."

"The service by the young staff was great! They really made an effort to make you feel welcome. We had steak, asked for it well done but it was pink and bleeding so asked for it to be cooked a little more and it came out exactly the same and even after the 2nd time of asking it wasn’t any different so i had to leave it but still got charged full price even though the chef could not do a well done steak after 3 attempts. "My experience at the recently renovated Clayton's was fantastic. We enjoyed a quick drink along with olives, homemade hummus, and warm delicious bread. The waitresses were extremely attentive and even gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco for my friend's birthday. Clayton's used to be my local wine bar, but it had lost its charm over the years. However, it seems like they have won me and my friends back with their impressive service. We will definitely be returning soon."

Special thank you to Jordan for being an amazing wedding planner...you made me feel so at ease over the 18 months of planning, calming me down when I had flappy moments, taking control when I needed help and felt swamped with it all and for just being there at the end of an email or phone call when I needed her!
