"Then, a man named Dan approached us and rudely placed a 'reserved' sign on our table, saying, "We need this table at 4 PM." When I pointed out we had about 50 minutes left, he responded in a rather condescending manner. I assured him that if we had our food by then, it wouldn't be a problem since we planned to eat and leave, not stay for drinks. Meanwhile, I noticed that a similarly sized table next to us was reserved for 3:30 PM and decorated with Pride accessories. At 3:45 PM, a female waitress approached our table and insisted that we needed to leave. I explained that we had ordered food that hadn’t arrived yet and were still enjoying our drinks. Dan returned, still with an unpleasant attitude, and reiterated that they needed our table due to a booking. I informed him that we were not leaving because we were still waiting for our food. He continued to be rude, asking me what he was supposed to do about the booking. I pointed out that we had already ordered food and that it wasn't our fault if they hadn’t managed their reservations properly; you can’t just slap a reserved sign on a table and expect us to leave. He then told me, "I'll refund your food order," which was completely unacceptable. The entire exchange was uncomfortable, with my daughter witnessing the rude behavior and false statements from Dan, such as him claiming that "upstairs is for bookings only," which was simply not true. I suggested that they could seat the reservation at the table next to us that was still unoccupied, even though it was past the booking time. After walking away, he soon returned to request the reservation card, which I passed to him. He then replaced the reservation card at the next table with our 4 PM booking card. It was that simple. This whole altercation was unnecessary and really put a damper on what was meant to be a celebratory day for me and my daughter. I genuinely believe that Dan needs additional training on handling reservations and understanding that paying customers have the right to occupy a table until their food has been served. We shouldn't have to endure such a hostile experience."

"My friend and I decided to go to Notting Hill for breakfast and after walking around for a bit we decided on Farm Girl. Big mistake. Initially we walked in and were seated quickly, it had a nice atmosphere and so far everyone seemed friendly. After being seated, a small card stated the menu was online and could be viewed using a QR code, which is a great way to move forward in hospitality to avoid paper wastage but you might want to think twice about this option when your building has no cell service and your free 'wifi ' works slower than my grandma climbing the stairs at 95. Our order was taken, we weren 't asked about any allergies (which we both had but ordered carefully), the food arrived quickly but my god... We get it, everything 's expensive in London but £14.50 for TWO pancakes with a spoonful of mashed up cherries and £10.50 for a slice of bread with some avocado?! RIDICULOUS! The tables next to us were also complaining at the prices of their breakfast once the food arrived and realised how appalling the portions are. My friend and I love supporting smaller businesses and expect to pay slightly more in support of these, but this was just atrocious. Not one server had returned to the table to check if our food was alright or if we wanted anything else. Once finished, we actually managed to access the QR code to pay the bill and a service charge had been placed ontop of the already extortionate amount. Now as someone who has worked in hospitality myself for 4 years, I 'm more than happy to pay service charge as well as leaving cash tips. Not this time. Paying service charge would 've meant we 'd actually been served, we hadn 't. My friend asked for the service charge to be removed to which the waiter nodded then went back to the till, bad mouthed us to his coworker who turned around to look at us both (making uncomfortable eye contact) he then returned and we paid straight away. My friend and I both left straight away, thanking the staff but we were blanked completely. Note to farm girl: sort yourself out, you may be popular with tourists but eventually you 'll be out of business."

"Our experience here last week was OK but not as wonderful as it usually is. I've been to a few Gordon Ramsay restaurants before, including the Bread Street Kitchen location, and we've always had great food and great service, but this time wasn't especially good. There were 3 of us altogether, although my husband ended up being 30 minutes late my apologies for this! At the same time though, we arrived at 5pm and to start, the service was very good. It wasn't particularly busy on the patio so we decided to sit there. At 5:20, my husband messaged me to say he was close by so I ordered his drink and some appetizers. He arrived just after 5:30 and we still hadn't received the drink, although the appetizers were there. No one came over to even ask if my husband wanted a drink after this and he didn't receive it until almost 5:50. After this, we ordered our mains the food overall was absolutely fantastic though. Burgers were amazing, pork was delicious and the side mac and cheese was great. My husband ordered creamy mashed potatoes on the side though which were very hard and not very nice so that was dissapointing, but management were very good at taking this off the bill so I also can't fault them for that! Our experience is usually amazing at the Ramsay restaurants so it was just slightly off putting at the speed of service this time but the food definitely made up for it."
