"Fantastic dinner on first day of festive menu. The smoked salmon and prawn cocktail was lovely take on the traditional prawn cocktail . Salmon and prawns were both big and fresh. Main course was perfect too and very juicy . Tatties , sprouts and carrots...cooked to perfection too. Wonderful service; extremely attentive but not in your face. Big thumbs up from us and it’s back to its best . I’m just disappointed I never tried the feather blade for mains as it looked lovely , but I couldn’t have everything . Maybe next time . Highly recommended."

"I was visiting Warwick with the wife for our wedding anniversary and wanted to find a nice restaurant, La mesa came high on the Reviews and some times you have to take TripAdvisor with a 'Pinch of Salt ', I looked deeper into the internet and found some food critic who gave excellent reviews so had no hesitance in booking...... and we were not disappointed! This is a small and cosy restaurant, ideal for couples, a small group of friends or a business dinner. A 6 course taster menu (only option and changes every night) prepared to the quality most people dream of and only see on TV, and all for a modest set price. neighbouring tables had allergies or food preferences and this was also covered for! Don 't ask me what ingredients and herbs and spices accompanied the courses, that is explained as it was served, but I can tell you that we had a Spicy Chicken Soup, Buffalo Mozzarella on a bed of Seaweed, a large Pork meatball, Giant Prawns on a bed of Risotto, Slow cooked Lamb with a truffle mash and a creamy sugar glazed dessert. Washed down with a couple of bottles of Rioja and a Spanish liqueur compliments of La Mesa! I would 100% recommend La Mesa, fantastic food, great atmosphere, warm, welcoming and attentive staff, great wine and I love the open 'not a show kitchen ' but a creative kitchen! Booking a must and I believe 4-6 weeks in advance!"

"I was impressed by the TSB branch located in Newcastle city centre on Ridley Place. Compared to other TSB branches I have visited in Middleton and Manchester City Centre, this branch is much larger and more technologically advanced. The indoor cash machines and paying in machines were a pleasant surprise, as was the free wi-fi. The branch follows the traditional TSB colour scheme and has a manned desk for those who prefer speaking to someone in person. However, I found the staff to be less helpful and friendly compared to other banks like Natwest and Halifax. Overall, I would rate this branch as average compared to other banks, but as the best TSB branch I have visited, it deserves three stars."

"Sunday evening 7pm...trying to find somewhere to eat on a dreary evening in Greenock which had some spice and didn't come with chips. All I wanted was Spicy Chicken Noodle' which bizarrely wasn't a menu item...they did me a Singapore Noodle without the Prawn.Delicious. Egg rice was excellent, as was the beef in black bean. Service good...but the restaurant was empty.Would definitely pop in again when up here."

"The venue is nice and popular among film location enthusiasts, with a cool beer garden that is dog-friendly. The staff is very friendly. However, the food is disappointing, so I would only suggest going there for drinks. My chicken burger was tasty but poorly presented. My partner's macaroni and cheese was bad, and my friend had a hard time finding meat in his dish. I will return for drinks, but not for the food, which is a shame."

"We had our wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception here on 6th July and cannot thank Jordan and the rest of the Royal Toby staff enough, they made the day perfect and nothing was too much trouble, anything we needed they sorted (even fixing my veil and hair when it came out which I’m sure isn’t in their job description) We were in the Rhydding suite for all three parts of the wedding and the staff did a fantastic job turning the room around after each part and making it look truely magical...Everything was just perfect! Special thank you to Jordan for being an amazing wedding planner...you made me feel so at ease over the 18 months of planning, calming me down when I had flappy moments, taking control when I needed help and felt swamped with it all and for just being there at the end of an email or phone call when I needed her! Would 100% recommend The Royal Toby to anyone who is getting married and looking for wedding venues! Wish I could do it all again!! Vanessa Simon"

"the menu could be somewhat larger, and it could be two portion sizes for the choice, but otherwise, error-free and consistent standards. they know that there is an effort in the preparation of the food when the frying sprouts are plucked at the front and back, the fried wobbles are made to house and the taste healthy and fresh. I am not a fan of chicken soup, but I love the grilled noodle soup and the salted vege and tofuss soup, which also has a good mushroom taste. good asian aromas and quality. with Singaporean and Malaysian connections, so for those looking for grilled suppenaromen similar to in SG/MY, this could be as good as in Britain."

"We tried this place for the 1st time ever, please don't be put off by the location or outside appearance which is a natural instinct for most people, id driven past for years and paid zero attention...the interior is homely but the staff quickly put you at your ease, we opted for the all you can eat buffet, it was very high quality for £14.99pp, highly recommend the crispy chilli chicken which arrived piping hot, and was 100% homemade and you CAN tell the difference immediately, drink prices were average you would find in most restaurants, service was fantastic the lady looking after us was mind blowing, really lovely, eagle eyed and couldn't do enough, our 4.5 year old twins were a little under the weather so not their usual angels but she wasn't fazed at all....small tip...you make want to take your time and even skip the starter platter as the mains courses are so much better than any other Chinese restaurant that I have tried, absolute perfection and the fact that the restaurant is a little jaded only adds to the charm...brilliant..."

"Beautiful Thai restaurant specializing in seafood specialities. Service was fast and the waitress was knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. The restaurant was warm and cozy. The Tom-Yum soup was delicious and I also liked the Thai tea with jelly that was like a cousin to bubble tea. The dishes we ordered were extra spicy, which is often hard to get according to our preference, so we were happy with the degree of heat! However, their desserts are all or usually ice cream-based."

"[READ THIS IF YOU DON 'T WANT TO WASTE MONEY) You definitely feel thirsty after the meal as the food are oily and salty. Food quality are bad, not traditional Thai food. No service at all. The staff just ignore my desk as we finished our dish, no one come and clear our table. Poor Service! One more note, make sure to check the bill as they include service charge in the bill. The all you can eat just cost £19.9 per each but they input £1 additional service charge per head in the bill, which is £20.9. When we questioned the staff what is happening, they said this is a optional service charge and we have a choice to not pay the £1 per head. This made me consider the waitress is untruthfulness which mandatory the guest to pay for it. Very very disappointed experience. I definitely won 't eat this shop as there are lots of choice in Trafford Centre."

"We visited this restaurant before a gig at KKs Steel Mill after we had read the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. Staff were really friendly and we were seated immediately. Drinks service was prompt and we were given plenty of time to look at the extensive menu. We had salt and pepper squid to start and it was delicious. Mains one was a duck dish which was really tasty. The star of the show was the seafood dish in the fish shaped dish. It was packed with muscles, squid, fish...fabulous. We didn't have room for dessert but next time we are in town we will be back!"

"eating here is absolutely delicious and we had the most beautiful meal on Thursday night. Normally I would give rama 5 stars, but was very disappointed about the liqueur coffee that was ordered to finish the meal. the glass was only a third full. it had a measure for the alcohol, a small measure of coffee and a measure for cream. the coffee should have filled the cup, with the cream level with the top of the glass. the personal looked exhausted and I think it was desperate, even if it was only 9 o'clock. I left a tip despite the disappointment of the Likör coffee, perhaps the employees need some trainings, as this should be done and presented."

"We found this on trip-advisor and were so glad we tried it. The place is lovely and clean, modern decor and very friendly waiting staff. The menu had the usual burgers, fish, sandwiches, paninis, Mac and cheese, scampi etc as well as some specials on...a separate menu. The home made broccoli and Gorgonzola soup was just delicious. I had the soup and panini which was a whole panini, salad, crisps and coleslaw, very filling and delicious. Husband had the scampi, which was also lovely. We wished we could have had the burgers or fish but due to having a pre arranged evening meal, didn’t have a full main, but could see others having the half portion of fish, which would have been ample as portions are very good sized. Would recommend coming here as it’s a lovely place to eat."

"We visited Sweet Mandarin today as I am Celiac and heard amazing things about their Gluten Free menu. It was mine and my husband's 2 year anniversary today and so decided to book here for a meal. The gentleman at the desk when we arrived was lovely. He asked about whether it was an occasion and gave us a card during our meal wishing us happy anniversary. It was a lovely gesture. Given I haven't had a good Chinese in a while, I would absolutely recommend. My husband even said the food was just as good as a normal Chinese. Excellent service and food"

"Came in here for a lunch break while on the Lanark Heritage Trail. The name of the cafe is apt as it's set up like a traditional tearoom. A bit old school, but pleasant, bright and airy. All the new health guidelines were being observed with hand sanitiser, table space and face masks etc.I ordered a home made vegetable soup and also a (I think) marshmallow cheesecake. First off the soup was pretty poor. Really watery and salty. The former I didn't mind so much because it had generous amount of vegetables. I also asked for a glass of water, but still couldn't finish the soup. The cheesecake was delicious though. In fairness, when it came to the bill, the staff took money off the final bill, so kudos for that. I came here because of all the amazing reviews, but I was disappointed overall. I can't fault the service or customer focus and that's a credit to the staff."

"I like to eat Central European and when the chance appeared on an Austrian restaurant in london, I grabbed it with both hands. two of us went to dinner on Friday night. here is what we have ordered: bratwurst andkäsewurst .both very good, but the bratwurst was more beautiful. rosencarbon t-bone the calves was good. the fries were nice, but a tad cool. excellent that they use rosen's wreath. spaezle with speck (big) very nice, although a smaller would have been enough broccoli with cheese firma and not overcooked. omas strängel with ice cream was the strängel very moderately imiserschmarr’n with a kirschkomponat beautiful, but could have been a tad warmer and fluffier. So eating was generally in order, even though we thought it was a bit expensive. all this plus a apple juice and a glass of Austrian weines came only with the service fee. the service, I must say, was very good. the waiters were all kind. although we did not need help with the menu, our neighbours and the guy patiently explained. we really didn't like it. Apart from the wood panels on which they served the steak and the sausage, everything was in email dishes and some of them were chipped. we don't know if it was a concept or a shabby chick, but we hated it! enamel dishes reminded us of terrible children's camping trips. our puddings came into something similar dog bowls. imiserschmarrn was the favorite dessert of imperial franz joseph i. and they saw it fit to serve it in a shiny enamel bowl!"

"Had dinner here while staying at the Best Western Hotel in Dover, What can I say, the place is beautifully decorated and they accommodated the 8 of us without batting a eyelid. Food the food was fresh, cooked to perfection and served in a timely manor, between the 8 of us we pretty much had everything on the menu and no one was disappointed. Price was mid to high range I would say but worth it. But here's the best part, our server, Courtney (Sorry if that's spelt wrong) She was amazing, Quick, Helpful and probably the best server I have had in a very long time, nothing was too much trouble. Whatever your paying her, it's not enough. Kudos to her."
